iamadonis2: Let me start with yours to reply:
The business is doing fine. In fact, I started three years before I met her. A fucking industrious chick that she is, we later joined forces.
Now at the time this whole mess happened we had put $1,800 into purchasing some products.
She saw others and thought we should try it out. I disagreed only on the lines that we had just spent money buying from the same place, why not chill and wait to see what doing biz with them is like...
Only for me to see 1 million later from the “brother” Well, I will advise that you get everything documented and if need be engage a lawyer and get everything formalized. My brother, E get why o. Believe me, you will eventually loose that girl (which if you plan ahead will be a blessing). But if you don't you will loose your business join. I know a wife of 18 years asking for divorce after the "family" business became successful. Unfortunately there were no documentation, the man just dey fund the business and hoping to retire some day. She got the divorce and claimed everything, as in EVERYTHING. Bro think and ACT fast. |

Op, if you read this PLEASE and PLEASE cut that relationship.
My reasons: 1. Her brother consenting to join her in the lie that he was the source of the loan. This implies that he's aware of what's going on between this girl and her so-called ex. 2. She is obviously using you to build that business and when it's fully matured she'll show you the way out. Please, be sincere do you have any financial/monetary contributions to the business (as in cash)? Is the partnership documented with share hold of each partner? Remember no 1 above, her brother will join the fight for her if need be to chase you out of the business. 3. That ex has been knacking your babe since your first post. Dig deeper into the matter you can find out. If there's any man that gives N1m and will be satisfied with a kiss, I will send my girlfriend out tomorrow for look for such. 4. Start your exit plan - for both business and relationships. And do it in that order. |

Business › Re: I Don't Understand Again... I'm Not Enterprising At All.... by 1stNumeroUno: 10:15pm On Oct 02, 2020 |
Sincerely I'm impressed with your desire to venture into business. It's a great idea and I can assure you'll not regret going for it. For the fear of "what will come out of it", It's normal and practically applicable to even big business men. But you got to push it aside and kick off. Let me share a couple of tricks that can help you: Survey and confirm what you want to sell: It's either a product or service, check around your possible market. That is the potential buyer and seller. What's the size of buyer and how do they want to be served. Start small: Even large business venture into new markets small small. With this you'll not be afraid of failure. Sell online (products) : this will save you some cost on space. Also you'll close more deals online than running shop. Lastly, I'll advice you learn skills. It sells more and usually cost little to set up. I did some stunts when I was an undergrad too and it worth the time/effort. Being an Engineering student, we do a lot of drawing (Engineering design). So, I'll buy a ream of A1 paper at the beginning of semester from Lagos. For every drawing class I'll go to school with extra papers that I'll sell to colleagues. It's wasn't much cash but tfare is sorted Also In my final year, I ran Computer training for primary schools in town. Since I have only 4 courses for the last 2 semesters, I had enough time to run the training. That time computer training was still selling o (early 2000). Came to Lagos, bought one desktop (with my Project money) . Charge the schools per class. I made over 100% in the first month. So dear, shoot it. |

I'll suggest you get quotes from 2 more carpenters to compare price. Also someone above asked for the length and breath of the building, because the shape of the house matters a lot in roofing. I did something similar last year at I gulped 1.8m.

Footstradamus: You shared a gruesome video of an attack in Borno , one of the 19 states that comprises Northern Nigeria to back up the premise the North of the country is now a "killing field" and "a Somalia within Nigeria". No one is arguing that Boko Haram insurgents isn't a problem in Borno State.
What i don't get is how that now automatically smears the North as a no go area, a place one goes to die. So you mean Kaduna, Kano,Sokoto, Benue, Taraba, Kebbi,Nassaraw, Niger all peaceful and booming states in the North should be avoided because something is going on in far away Borno? That is downright silly and myopic.
And that's the last i will respond to this particular boring topic Did you just add Kaduna, Sokoto & Benue to list of peaceful states in Nigeria? #I'm not here today. |

bankylan: Nigeria does not need 200,000MW......Population is not the main factor, though it is a variable, load demand is what determines the required MW to be dispatched. Today we have installed capacity of 13,000 MW and we can only wheel about 6,000 MW. The implication is that we are making CAPACITY PAYMENTS to Gencos as eshrined in the PPAs we signed with them because we can't make use of their full capacity which to them is huge financial investments tied down. People who don't know about the power industry talk about population as a determinant of the needed megawatt, but power engineers and those who are real professionals in the industry don't think this way. What is our load demand as a nation? We just need like 25,000MW now and we will be okay as we don't really have many heavy duty industries besides the fact that our wheeling and distribution capacity can't even cope with the 6000 MW we hover around now. Bros, your submission that we need just 25000MW is not true, I think that's based on our present consumption rate. So, if we look at it critically we need at least 100k+ MW. On the wheeling capacity, I agree with you and my concern is what has FG done about it? This is the only part of the show in their corner and they have failed woefully on it. |
