The negligence and ineptitude of our government is costing us lives daily. I'm afraid if it'll not cost our land in the near future. Miyetti Allah vigilantee in a yoruba state when OPC dey there dey make mouth. Obas are there keeping quiet. Political leaders are calculating for the future that only GOD knows if it'll ever be. |
Sincerely, I think this govt is intentionally holding El Zazachy so that his followers become another bunch of terrorists they'll use to destroy this nation. Haba kilode, court say free this man, you no green. Those claiming he's held for national security concerns, I hear una o. Sebi dem don pick all the bandit wey dey Zamfara and Sokoto finish... I even learnt they had a seize fire agreement with the bandit commandants recently. Imagine... |
Hen-hen! I talk am say AJ losses to Ruiz was a fixed game. He go keep the belts with Ruiz so that boys can't obtain them from him when he's in Naija. AJ I hail o! |
Dear Op, Only someone has asked directly if you do smoke (from the first 2pages). So let me add that if your guys you hang out with smokes, she will think you do too because you'll smell smoke. My 50cent advice, avoid places and people that smoke. Cos 2nd hand smoking is as dangerous as first hand smoking. Also it might be the only way to prove your wife wrong. |
Sincerely, I started losing my last hope on Nigeria when I see the younger politicians behaves. Imagine, 50 aides! Even for a governor, it's too much. The other one was at Love Machine shop embarrassing himself. |
Abfinest007:Intrestingly, Joseph's incidence happened only once. Maybe this guy's own is one to many. |
I'm very sure it wont solve anything. The level of dilapidation of that road need massive improvement not a 2days/cosmetic repair. You'll see that after a month of this work it'll be back to status quo...and millions would have gone down the drain. Hmmm. What did I know sef. |
hazel01:It was 'super' painful o. Well, I left the small job I had then after 2 years and moved to a bigger, better coy. But sincerely, God has been faithful all through. |
kokowe:Had similar experience. Fresh out of NYSC, I was called, messaged and emailed for an interview in a reknown oil service company in PHC after I passed the test. I had to travel all night from Lagos because I was new on a job then. Several stops and longer route made the bus got to Aba around 8am and the interview was slated for 9am. I had to abandon the bus and jump small bus to PHC; then crazy traffic. Eventually I got to venue around 10am. On getting there I was told at the gate my name wasn't on the list. What? I begged to look through the list and discovered it was written with pen, as in 'blue biro'. Lailai! This is a mega multinational coy na. I was sure something has gone wrong. I stayed put begging the security men to let me in. After a while I saw a man in overall going out through the gate-house. An idea hit me to go and wait for him outside. At his return I pleaded for audience and he listened to my story, showed him SMS (didn't have email on my phone then). He said there's no way he could help and left. After a while he came back and took me in. Straight to the interview hall and handed me over to a lady. She asked for my name and search through a PRINTED list. Behold brethren I was on the first page, despite that my surname starts with a "S" (that means I even qualified for the interview on merit - at least I saw 70% against my name). By this time the interview panelist were rounding up. It was almost noon and you know all this oil companies with policies on break and timing. Through the glass, I could see the lady trying to persuade the 4-man panel but they didn't yield. It pained me o and I cried. But today, I thank the LORD. #ooops, sorry it's lengthy... |

Op, Volvo60 is very right. Inspecting a car before buying is important and should never be taken lightly. I've been there before. I bought a naijabet used car about 7 years ago, within 3month of purchase I almost went mad with repair cost. |
This is Nigeria where electricity is a luxurious product.

It's hilarious some kiddies were arguing away goal. Shey dem eyes don clear now. For those that bet CL it's not a 50/50 chance for winning a CL match bet, it's 25/75. Why? Because 2nd leg are more contested and table if turn any how. Up Man Utd... Thanks lads for securing Ole's job. |
I was at this hill sometime in 2012. Nice place, great history, poor management. I wish our government can improve it to UNESCO standard. |
Maybe this falls in... My first day at the NYSC Local Government House after we were dispatched out of the camp. I was so pissed because my two friends were posted to the state capital and I wasn't. Cause of anger I kept to my self throughout the day and wasn't talking to anyone. Then in the evening, the senior batch try to entertain us by arranging a movie in the common room. I sat at a corner by myself watching the ever green Titanic, then this lady came and pulled up a plastic chair adjacent me. She had a stern look like and kept a sweet stick in her mouth. She sat down and put her legs on my lap. Immediately I noticed two other ladies at the door-way looking at us, I thouggt it was a set up or prank. I left her legs there and after about 3minutes she dropped a long irritating hiss and left. Later a guy walked up to me and said something in Igbo, I told him I don't understand. He laughed and later told me the lady was interested in me. I brushed it off but he affirmed that she confided in him and told him. |
***** I hope she remembered to drop her 'business' card with Sanwo; her 'service' might be needed in the near future. #justsaying. ![]() ***** |
