Oliran: To be granted a condonation approval, it means you made submission of AS-BUILT. What it means is your setback and airspace didn't meet it the requirements but you were given consideration since it has been built already.
Yes, it is tenable at LASBCA, however before certificate of completion and fitness for habitation is granted by LASBCA, you will be asked to do Non-Destructive Test(2floors and above), submit letter of Structural stability and Indemnity and other documents. Thanks so much ma. |

1stNumeroUno: Hello bosses, please advise.
I have a small construction that I'm perfecting documents for at LASPPA. But they complained about some setbacks and exit stairs being close to the fence. So, they are planning to give us Condolence approval (instead of the Final approval). My concerns now are:
* What's the implication(s) of that. * Is the Condolence approval tenable at LABSCA for Stage permit? Reminder on the concerns above sirs... Thanks. |

Nothing is wrong with your Radiator fan bro.
That's how radiator fan is meant to work. At the point you start the engine and it's idling, the running temperature is still is the normal zone. When you on the AC, more power is demanded from the engine so the radiator fan automatically comes on to cool the engine.
No call anybody to check for now o. Else...

It's quite tiring when you are in such a triangle.
My suggestion - anytime the madam raise alarm again, she (the maid) should suggest that they install CCTV in the house. Now she has to play it well - she will sound concerned with a look that they're all in potential danger if food has been missing consistently like this without anyone knowing about it. |

Hello House, please help with this. 1stNumeroUno: Hello Gurus,
Help with a Corolla 2007 Bank type manual drive.
Barely 2 weeks ago I discovered the car did not starts for every evening warning as I've not been going out with it recently. An auto-electrician checked it and point out a burnt cable from the fuel line. He short circuit it with a relay and the car starts once since then. But earlier this week I noticed that the rpm is quite sluggish when it's on gear 2, 3 & 4. It will just make a sudden jump to 4-5rpm and back to a little above 1rpm again.
What's the possible cause for this. |

patnas1990: Greeting fellow nairalanders and to the professionals viewing this topic.
I visited the site today and work is ongoing. I need advice from the professionals here.
I have decided to use extra height doors and windows, I just love how they look and the beauty it adds to your home.
1. Is it advisable to use it for all the doors or just for the entrance. 2. What is the advantage or the disadvantage of using extra high doors cause I know for sure it's already demanding for more blocks to get to the desired height.
Also the contractor told me he would be taking the lintel round the house to 11 course of blocks, and then 2 course above the lintel to the decking.
What's your advice on this as this is going to draw up extra costs for me.
Please I need your expert advice. I'll suggest you maintain common/standard door and windows throughout. Though higher doors usually look pretty but I'm afraid it'll come with some issues considering artisans ignorance/negligence/incompetence (sometimes). If you're constructing the front/main door from welder you can shoot it. But check if what you really want is more head room in the building, you can increase the course to 3 after lintel. |

Nice observation. But the environment the Nigeria pixs are taken a often rough/dirty/unorganized. Secondly, the camera used for the Nigeria pix might be of lower quality. |

freeman500: Sometime ago November to be precise. My 1998 CRV was jerking while accelerating. I went to 2 mechanics and both confirmed that my fuel pump was bad. So I changed the fuel pump, it didn't take 30mins b4 the fault reappeared. Finally I changed the fuel filter, o boy! If u see the dirt coming out of my filter.... at that point I told them to service the injector nozzles. After that my car performed better than when I bought it, the movement was formula 1 standard Hope this helps Whao! Those suggestions are already on my to do list. Will surely revert here. Thanks! |
