The suspected killers of Charity Aiyedogbon who got missing since May 2016 - have been paraded by the Police Command in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). According to reports, the suspects are Chukwujekwu Ezeugo, 27, principal suspect, from Enugu state and Emmanuel Adogah, 28 from Edo.

The Commissioner of Police in the FCT, Mr Sadiq Bello made the disclosure while briefing newsmen on the arrest by operatives of the command on Thursday in Abuja.

Bello said that the principal suspect, Ezeugo was arrested in Benin while the second principal suspect, Adogah was arrested in Abuja on June 11 by operatives of the command.

The commissioner said that Ezeugo, who had been at large since the disappearance of Charity, confessed to have conspired with Adogah to murder her on May 9, 2016 at Kagini, Abuja.

He said that Ezeugo also confessed to have given her excess alcohol before moving her from his house at Yaounde Street to Kagini, where she was butchered and packaged in two sacks and dumped by the bank in Ushafa, Bwari, Abuja.

He further confessed that he killed her in order to take possession of her Acura ZDS Jeep and other property.

Bello said the deceased car and some of her property had been recovered from him.

He said that the second principal suspect, Adogah who was a habitual criminal equally confessed to have participated in the commission of the heinous crime.

Charity’s former husband, Mr David Aiyedogbon had been accused of having a hand in the disappearance of the deceased.

David said that the deceased, who was 44, had four children.

Also speaking, Ezeugo said that he was in a relationship with the deceased, adding that both of them had differences.

He said that killing her was the work of the devil, and expressed regret about the act.

Bello said the suspects would be arraigned in court on completion of investigation.

There was pandemonium yesterday at Boki local government area of Cross River State following clash between military men and villagers. According to reports, following the cult war which has seen many dead, soldiers who were deployed in the area allegedly shot and wounded two youths from Nsadop community.

According to journalist George Odok, the community youths retaliated and also injured the soldiers. The villagers who chased the soldiers away - also burnt down one of their vehicles.

The Military (IBB and Late Muritala from whom he, Abiola got some of his corrupt government deals were very close friends of Abiola). They knew some secrets about Abiola that we knew not hence their opposition to him been President. Many of the Military guys then were opposed to him even one of our Yoruba Elder, Obasanjo. Abiola was no different from the average Nigerians Politician who handed out peanuts from the largesse he stole. A classic Robin Hood who now enjoys a democratic martyrdom status.
I wish sometimes he had become President so we could have gotten to see him for who he really was exactly like Buhari who came riding in on the supposed "Impeccable Intergrity Status. that's not true oga. I've been married to my husband for 10yrs now after we dated for 4yrs. We got married wen he had no job. We stayed in a room apartment where I had to hawk for us to to eat. The day my mum visited us, she cried cos I'm from a well to do home. There were times we can't even feed not to talk of buying pampers for our child then. It's not about the employment status, it's about the support and perseverance she had showcased when her husband was going through testing period.

I believe the man would pay her in good coin when things become rosy. Don't be naive in your thinking, I'm not an advocate of someone not gainfully employed before going into marriage. To facilitate things being smooth, it's imperative that both are employed with reasonable pay.

I suggest you guys be separated for some time atleast and during this time you guys should be trying to make things work and see if she genuine about everything.
