I don't have a cockney accent, its quite difficult to find anybody of my generation possessing such

the cockney accent has largely been replaced by something called "multicultural London English" which is English which has been influenced by the languages and accents of immigrants to the country

the only people of my generation who speak anything close to cockney do that because they live in an area where its a traditional "dialect", like East London

they came during the goldcoast time after an uprising ensued btn the goldcoast soldiers and the colonial masters. Hausas soldiers well called to maintain law and order over here. They never returned to nigeria again coz they were integrated into the society by our first president kwame nkrumah and the rest is history. abt tribalism, it exist everywhere in the world including ghana but we dont condone it over here. We name and shame any popular figure who does that. We also have alot of inter-ethnic marriages which has helped solve this issue.

A lot of Ghanaians think that when they come to America money falls from the tree and it is a dreamland but when they get there they realise that the grass is not always greener on the other side. If you don't have your papers it'll be extremely difficult for you and you will then understand exactly what it means to be a hustler lol. But once you have your papers and are here legally then there is a lot of opportunities but don't expect everything to be easy. I suggest you first come and visit and see how the place is like. Maybe if you would like to study here then you could try that but you need money. Some states are more expensive then others etc etc. I always tell peeps that if you are doing well in Ghana, continue. Don't drop everything you have just to come here and Suffer. I am not discouraging you but I am being realistic

thank u soo much for the info, i appreciate it but i actually plan to go there legally, maybe go to school a little there before i work, am jux praying the cedi doesnt depreciate further so i can save more and make my plans. Btw which cities are less expensive? I know new york, las vegas and los angeles are no go areas. Lol
