There are $3.85 Billion of Nigeria Corporate Eurobonds now.

Between now and July 2019 $1.8 Billion will either mature or be called.

These will naturally create scarcity of securities hence price hike and lower yields.

The affected bonds are:
• Access Bank Sub 21s - $400mn dollars to be called June
• Diamond Bank 19s - $200mn dollars maturing May
• ETI 21s - $250mn dollars to be called August
• FBNH 21s - $450mn dollars to be called as well in July
• Zenith 19s - $500mn dollars maturing April

TB is good, but be aware that if the exchange rate today goes up by up to N55/$ added on the exchange rate of today at anytime within the 1 year period of investment, you are already at a loss.

That is the fear that paralyzed me to making Eurobond at 6% when I could get treasury bills at more than twice that rate. With the current political certainty exchange rate would never get that bad. All these fears are for nothing.

2. Sterling bank has been actively sending out emails requesting for feedback, one of which reads "Thank you for using our i-Invest. We actively use feedback from our customers to improve our services via this platform..." No bank will ever send that type of message if they are mere partners as you insinuate.
3. I-invest has no dedicated phone number, you can only reach them on the same number as that of any Sterling bank customer.
Initially I was skeptical of the app, but I did my diligent investigation before using their service. Although it would be more convincing to simply name the app "sterling" and do away with the mention of a certain panther partner, but I remember there's an Ecobank app called Rapidtransfer fully owned by the Ecobank yet my €100 is yet to be "Rapidtransferred" since November 2018. So it's not by name abeg.

You can't invest the money you don't have.

Ordinarily, it will be sent to you within 48 hrs via e-mail. However, simply ask your account officer for it to be printed out for you.
NOTE: From my experience re: TBs, most account officers are incurably dumb when it comes to TBs so you must insist on obtaining it

At FBN, as soon as your investment bid becomes successful and your upfront interest hits your account, you can request for a print out of your investment statement from any of their branches.

You can get it as soon as Thursday, if your bid is successful.

Common law. Saying you're married is misrepresentation. You may also have problem bringing your unmarried to Canada later on if you indicated that you're single. Just state common law and list your partner and children as unaccompanied.

1. Rates for 364 days are typically the highest. Considering you get the interest upfront, you can compound your reward and get the true yield by choosing to reinvest the interest. Plus, you only get charged certain transaction/processing fees 1nce a year, as opposed to 4times with 91 days and 2wice with 182. So, if you are sure you do not need the funds for that long, 364 days is best for earnings.

2. Compare exchange rates you will get from https://azimo.com/en/ to your usual worldremit on your next transfer.

Welcome to the club. It's now obvious that UK is just another bus stop, Canada is the destination.

1,2. It's best to evaluate with WES since your masters is from the UK. Evaluate masters only and you'll get your evaluation completed within 30 days! Only highest degree is required. The delay is much longer if your include your Nigerian 1st degree, they'll even request for your ssce results, a requirement you'll skip if you use your UK masters only.

3. Statement of result is fine. The school will send the transcripts anyway. Not you.

Considering the volume of 1m (which is <50m min. bid volume in the treasury bills primary market auction as stipulated by CBN),you will be availed a secondary market rate at below 11%pa on treasury bills. My advise would be you go for a Fixed deposit with an investment house or Non-bank financial institution that invest in risk-free instrument(money market). Hope you find this helpful

You advised fixed deposit because he won't get more than 11% on treasury bills. No fixed deposit will pay more than 11% either. In fact he'll be lucky to get half of that.
