Sensational singer and actor, Folarin Falana, AKA Falz, has revealed he might be settling down soon.

The Singer told Saturday beats that due to pressure from all angles on him to get married as soon as possible, he may publicly propose to his secret lover at his concert.

He said “My lover will be at the concert, will I unveil her to the public? Let’s wait and see, it’s actually very possible because a lot of people are putting pressure on me to get married. As we all know, recently Banky W got married, everybody is getting married so I think it’s high time for me to get married too.”


Falz, known to have a good sense of humour, however, dismissed rumour that his secret lover is Popular singer, Simi, although he noted that she is also in the Entertainment Industry.

Olamide has finally said something about his relationship with his former artistes, Adekunle Gold and Lil-kesh.. He says he still sees them as brothers.

In a chat with Saturday Beats, Olamide said that there was no bad blood between them, referring to the young singers as his brothers.

“I feel everyone is entitled to their opinion; I am just living my own dream. It is not about Adekunle Gold or Lil Keshi not being on my label but maintaining a good relationship with them. We have a good relationship as we are brothers, so it is not just about business. Definitely, they would be at my show,”

he said.



Speaking on his show, which is to hold in at Teslim Balogun Stadium, the singer explained that he was very excited especially about the venue and he was optimistic that his fans would fill up the 25,000-seat stadium. He said,

“My people love me and they are always my people. The kind of relationship that I have with my people is genuine, it is not based on hype because it is very real and organic. I am very sure that everyone who identifies with what is real will come out on that day. I am very excited because this is something I have been dreaming about for over three years.”

The maintenance culture of Nigeria is so bad that it affects even the most sensitive parts of the country's affairs.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has dissociated itself from a Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) past question currently circulating in the country.

According to JAMB, the past questions on compact disks are being sold to unsuspecting students as genuine past questions.

In a statement through its Head of Media, JAMB described the papers and counterfeit and intended to deceive unsuspecting candidates, and warned prospective candidates and the general public to beware of such fraudulent papers.

The statement read in part, “The fake past questions in CD Rom entitled , “JAMB PRO CBT practice software for UTME” was purported to have emanated from JAMB in order to give credence to the products.

“This is also made by the producers to perpetuate their nefarious activities.

“JAMB wishes to dissociate itself from the production and sale of the fake CDs and warns the public to be vigilant and avoid being defrauded.

“As a responsible and responsive organisation , we will not be part of any ploy to defraud innocent candidates.

“We have put machineries in motion to our outlets and service providers not to be used as channels of exploitation or distribution of such fake items.”

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State has approved the sales of LAKE Rice for the Yuletide season.


The approval is contained in a press statement signed by Assistant Director, Public Affairs, Tunbosun Ogunbanwo, on Thursday, December 7, 2017.



Ogunbanwo, in the statement, quoted the Lagos State Commissioner for Agriculture, Mr. Oluwatoyin Suarau, as disclosing this in his office.



He assured residents that the government would continue to ensure adequate production and fair distribution of the rice across the state.



Suarau added that the rice would be available to the public at the various accredited centres during the festive period and beyond.

He said, “Residents can buy the product from the LTV Complex, Agidingbi, Ikeja; Farm Service Centre Odogunyan-Ikorodu; Farmers Mart, Surulere; Agric Input Supply Authority, Ojo; Agricultural Development Authority, Oko Oba, Agege; Farmers’ Mart, Ajah; and Farm Service Centre, Temu-Epe.”

The commissioner said the prices still remained the same as N12,000 for 50kg bag, N6,000 for 25kg and N2,500 10kg.

Bukola had thought December would be a month to remember as she had planned to splurge on herself.

“Just here thinking of how turnt I’ll be in Dec. Honestly think I deserve it. Lol I know I’ll spend the money I don’t have but we will save in 2018,” she had tweeted.



But a reverse was the case when she lost her job a few days after the tweet.



Bukola, who used to work with Konga, an online store, got laid off alongside 400 of her colleagues.

After she tweeted about losing her job and pleading for job referrals on her Twitter page on Sunday, Bukola couldn’t have envisaged the level of response she got.



“I was among the 400+ staff that got laid off at Konga last week,” she wrote.



“If you are in need of a customer service representative, social media analyst to be precise, someone who’s efficient in handling customers’ queries? I’m the right one for you. Pleaseee retweet.”

In the space of 24 hours, the tweet already has almost five thousand retweets, 99 comments and a thousand likes.

A Nigerian father and son from Anambra State, who both died after a brief illness will be buried on the same day.

A Facebook user, Kingsley Braen Nze Osisikankwu, who took to the social media platform to mourn them, revealed that the late Insp. Nobert Ifeukwu Udu, 75, and his son Mr. Francis Chetachukwu Udu, 27, died on 5th and 12th of October respectively, suffered the same sickness.

The late inspector and his son will be buried on the 1st of December, 2017, at their hometown, Amawbia in Awka South Local Government of Anambra State.

May their souls rest in peace (Amen)
