Nigerians should know by now that the minister of health n that of information have something in common, that is 99.9% of what comes out of their mouth is not true. remember he misinformed Nigerians that johesu never had an agreement with the FG ,he claim they could only produce minutes of meeting n not a signed agreement, but within few minutes of his fallacious and mischievous pronouncement the social media was flooded with evidence of an agreement which he appended his signature, thus coming out to tell Nigerians that johesu is asking for same pay with doctors is misleading n deceptive. enough of this egocentric behaviors in the health sector, may be the government should revert to The CONTISS, where all employees of federal ministry of health are on same salary structure.

u are d one misleading and deceiving ppl on what u dont know or not properly informed... D Johesu claimed that they had an agreement with Fed govt in 2014, which d Health Minister asked them to provide, only to come up with minutes of meeting... Pls, is minutes of meeting an agreement?....
Fed govt and Johesu only had an agreement in September 2017 where both d Health and Labour ministers and other relative stakeholders duly signed it, with a conditional statement that it would be subjected to presidency for approval... But was turned down or rejected by presidency based on claims that Johesu cant collect same pay with doctors, no where to source for that kind of money and this may trigger nation wide strike as other unions are patiently observing and waiting for the outcome.

OP is a bloody liar. I stay in Ekiti and what happened was that a petrol station constructed close to a market and residential building got burnt months ago (The news was on nairaland sef, with Fayose holding a water hose to assist the firemen lol). The owner of the filling station didn't insure it and that led to people's shops affected not to be paid. Because the petrol station owner allegedly gave them 10k each. This made fayose to order the demolition of all petrol station close to residential area, market, school, hospital etc. They striked at first and didn't sell fuel for few days, later they opened after negotiations. The result of the negotiation was that every petrol station should be insured. That was still not done within the time frame given and Fayose ordered for demolition instead. This is the cause of the current situation!

there is more to it... there are some excess taxes that was imposed on them...the stations were registered under the same government before their erections... Also, as seating Gov, what right(s) do u have to lead hoodlums to some targeted fuel stations in d early hour of one fateful day and vandalized them... it was an eye saw... I was on my way to park that day... I think, the Gov needs to be talked to... masses are feeling it badly...however, it has turned to an avenue for black marketers to swindle in gains as no security agencies is curtailing or arresting them.
