The student loan bill is a plot by the Tinubu led FG t to stop funding tertiary education in Nigeria leading to the end all education subsidy. Who do you think are the final beneficiaries of these moves, same criminals who will end up looting the funds meant to fund the tertiary education.

I don't think it's wise to give students loan when there are no jobs available when they graduate. You just put them under unnecessary pressure and probably drive them into depression. The UK , US, Canada that give their student loans also have "grants, scholarships" available to their citizens before even the loans. The FG should make tertiary institutions cheap or free the way it is in Syria, Iraq, Libya, Saudi Arabia. UAE, Oman, Jordan; and resève those loans for recent graduates finding it hard to get jobs. Is it the FG cannot do anything free for its people. What exactly do we benefit from bring among the top producers of crude oil.
