Scam as how?
The data to watch isn't free, if that's what you are asking.
What you get for free is the access to the content on iFlix. It's like using Netflix or any other streaming platform
And yes, you get 2 Months access for free |

duwdu: Most comments on here are jumbled, I'm afraid, with some claiming the truly unlimited pre-existing data regimes, for the new dispensation.
Just to be clear, or AFAIK, the new dispensation - with the new 90 GB monthly data cap, for instance - was advertised to take off on the 1st of this month.
Did it?
If it did, can anyone please state definitely that a new weekly sub made after the first of this month, has been uncapped so far through one week under heavy usage? Such a clarification IMO would clear up a lot of the misrepresentations on this thread.
Obviously, one has to wait until the end of this month to ask the same of monthly users.
As for me with my household, I'll have to wait this new ntel dispensation out a while.
........ P34c3 ..... ... That's why I'm not arguing with anyone. It's only a question of time. |

but the monthly plan of 17,500 is capped at 90Gb

Opening thread upon thread on nairaland is not the way to do these things.
When will you online marketers learn?
As at today this information you are claiming to pass is not on any official communication channel from the company.
As far it goes, might even be your concoction.
That was how you guys made ordinary pictures and details of the official decoders such a messy thing that customers can't even confidently identify which is which. TILL DATE.
The company website is useless. But you people will claim to.be doing comms.
No wonder people say it's a scam. What is there to disprove them? Nothing.
Too bad |

greenhulk: This doesn't make sense. If unlimited weekly is 3,750 then why would I pay 17,500 for monthly plan? 3,750 x 4 =15,000. I get to save 2,500. This should better be an error or I'm done with them. Na with one mind I use to pay that 12,500... If them do mistake increase am then I'm dumping them. Those plans can't be unlimited bros. |

pheesayor: despite their mess ups, companies will stick with ntel for their unlimited plans, despite the fup, many will still stay. Before now we were on swift and 120gb (at25k) lasted about just three weeks and we need about extra 5k for the rest of the month, coming to ntel unlimited starting at 10k and moving to 12500 looked good for the company, now even 17500 looks still good for the company compared to the previous 30k on swift. The 17500 plan comes with 90gb fup, to me that's nonsense and I told their rep that called me today, they should get their acts right, if the 90gb monthly fup stays then we might just leave to other networks, what that means is that we'll simply block some sites and restrict downloads on the network Lol. 15,000 on Glo is 120gb. 20,000 is like 150 or 180gb or something. If I have 17.5k for 90 GB, I'm pretty sure I can find extra 2,500 for 180 At this point, Na juju glo dey use

oyb: Sounds like Ntel do not know what they want to be Lol. They are actually supposed to be a 360° national carrier. Mobile landlines, Internet, everything. They even own a deep sea cable access.... Since they bought Nitel. They already do bulk fibre data for big clients. But along the line, technical choices have been funny to say the least. The mobile telecom arm is Ntel. And thats the one they are struggling with. They are just compensating for their inability to run VoLTE competently. Shey the network is already challenged. Their new oga is an MVNO specialist, has been involved in that abroad, so its not surprising he has brought that idea here. What I don't get is the continued network issues. And this move doesn't make it seem like they will ever solve it. They have leg sha, so with this deal I'm suspecting that they will win the bid for 9mobile. |
