Just to be clear, or AFAIK, the new dispensation - with the new 90 GB monthly data cap, for instance - was advertised to take off on the 1st of this month.

If it did, can anyone please state definitely that a new weekly sub made after the first of this month, has been uncapped so far through one week under heavy usage? Such a clarification IMO would clear up a lot of the misrepresentations on this thread.

Obviously, one has to wait until the end of this month to ask the same of monthly users.

As for me with my household, I'll have to wait this new ntel dispensation out a while.

As at today this information you are claiming to pass is not on any official communication channel from the company.

As far it goes, might even be your concoction.

That was how you guys made ordinary pictures and details of the official decoders such a messy thing that customers can't even confidently identify which is which. TILL DATE.

This doesn't make sense. If unlimited weekly is 3,750 then why would I pay 17,500 for monthly plan? 3,750 x 4 =15,000. I get to save 2,500. This should better be an error or I'm done with them. Na with one mind I use to pay that 12,500... If them do mistake increase am then I'm dumping them.

I really wish they didn't announce anything before actually rolling out. Cos e still fit cast.

Then I'm not happy I now have to pay. I was enjoying that free transmission, hoping it extends to next year sef.

They are actually supposed to be a 360° national carrier. Mobile landlines, Internet, everything. They even own a deep sea cable access.... Since they bought Nitel.

They already do bulk fibre data for big clients.

But along the line, technical choices have been funny to say the least. The mobile telecom arm is Ntel. And thats the one they are struggling with.

They are just compensating for their inability to run VoLTE competently. Shey the network is already challenged.

Their new oga is an MVNO specialist, has been involved in that abroad, so its not surprising he has brought that idea here.

What I don't get is the continued network issues. And this move doesn't make it seem like they will ever solve it.

They have leg sha, so with this deal I'm suspecting that they will win the bid for 9mobile.
