TV/MoviesRe: You Are Viewing Bein Sports Illegally - TSTV Subscribers Warned By Bein Station by 4llerbuntu(m): 4:45pm On Nov 03, 2017
Anyway, I'm not surprised.

E no get the kain story people no talk about HiTV / Toyin Subair

Even till date after the guy don explain wetin happen to his company and HiTV staff don talk am several times say those stories being peddled are not true.

I've even seen people arguing with the guy himself and his top staff about wetin happen inside their company.

Drama always dey for competitor to dstv.
TV/MoviesRe: You Are Viewing Bein Sports Illegally - TSTV Subscribers Warned By Bein Station by 4llerbuntu(m): 4:40pm On Nov 03, 2017
Nobody, anywhere in the world, discloses media rights agreement.

They are always confidential.

This is because pricing is completely arbitrary and done privately.

So all this let them reveal their agreement talk is a non starter. They cannot reveal it even if they wanted.

It is surprising though that there is no announcement anywhere from beIN , not even on their official handle and website.

And all the other stations don't have issues?

Weird. Anyway, whether true or false, the fault is entirely TSTV.

Even if it was a hack, na so Dem go dey hack dem freely? Abi they don't know no matter how cheap piracy is still cheaper

So tstv still haven't gotten their shit together. Well we are waiting patiently, like I said before I am not expecting too much, if they come out to be the Messiah then all good we all smile. If they turn out like APC.. well it's not the first time.

Meanwhile my phone rang yesterday and it was lady from DStv. She told me they have an offer for me, I said shoot. She said I should upgrade to DStv family for N3,800 and I will be offered 3 sports channels for free (Suoersportd 3,5 and 7) to watch all matches for 1 month. I said for real? She said yes. Normally I do 1,900 subscription, but this last month I decided to do the compact plus for 10k to watch all matches. I told her I'm already on compact plus and she said if I pay 3,800 the compact plus will be paused until the 3,800 gets exhausted then it will kick back in. Hmmm, are DStv already feeling the pressure of tstv?
no they are not. no pressure at all yet. there's nothing to compete against.

even kwese sef is not making a dent at all.

they are simply trying to remove their customer's incentive for switching immediately.

for example, with this offer you have no need to switch for the next 2 months.

that way they can retain many customers beyond the initial gragra period of Tstv and Kwese.

it actually shows they learnt from the HiTV era. that time many people switched immediately. it was only after like 6 months some started subscribing again to cover the entertainment channels shortfall.

the landscape will be much more interesting next year though, after 6 months a clear picture will emerge on the subscriber base. They just need to survive till Tstv start increasing prices

by that time they'll be offering 2 months for 1 month promo subscription.

Thing is, the adoption pricing strategy of Tstv will help them get low income people, and Gotv/Startimes subscribers. What is not sure is whether Dstv customers will switch in numbers.

I regretted upgrading my infinix hot 4 from marshmallow to nougat version 7.0 how can I downgrade it please to 6.0 marshmallow I need my version back please tech expert help me out God bless you if you can help me, please don't ignore me or laugh Me
.
Here is the earlier thread

https://www.nairaland.com/3961213/infinx-nougat-version-7.0
whenever you run a version update on your phone, you do a factory reset immediately.

it doesn't matter if its android, or iPhone or Blackberry.

Thats why they ALWAYS put the caveat that you should back up your device before upgrading.

There is nothing wrong with Nougat, its a much better version than that Marshmallow you want to downgrade to

back up your device memory and sdcard, wipe the memory and SD Card, then factory reset your phone.

everything will work normally as intended

there's nothing wrong with anything other than ntel.

i've said it here before, ntel works great with youtube, no matter how bad the service is. even with the 60kbps i get, it does 480P youtube very well.

everything else is wack.

fun fact, this weekend i was able to lay my hands on another ntel sim. tested both from friday night till this morning

i loaded my own sim and tried both on the same hardware at home, same tarrif plan, the unlimited monthly.

my sim did not top 100kbps no matter what i tried

the other sim was getting 200 - 300 kbps, fluctuates sometimes to 1 Mbps. in the night the second sim consistently did 900kbps - 1.3mbps

at least i've been able to clear my doubts for sure now about my line

TSTv has landed and it is will be FTA until their decoders get fully circulated. Some say such a period may last up to a month
For now, there are up to 36 channels. They are so cool. Some of the pictures from the various channels are attached

So folks, why not enjoy FTA - free to air - while it lasts
Tracking TP and tips?

Meanwhile, is it like completely 180° from dstv position? I ask because I have a wall.mounted dish and if it's the other direction, it means it has to be relocated completely

I keep seeing this 'beat dstv' yarn

Why do they have to beat dstv to be in business?

Do you have to be richer than dangote before you are regarded as rich?

Why can't they Co exist together.

If you are complaining about dstv being almost a monopoly, which is far from the truth, why do you think these ones should simply be a monopoly too?

Clearly the problem isn't dstv. It's Nigerians

Heh. Plenty ex Etisalat in Ntel ranks. Maybe not so funny
With all due respect to those people, if they don't have the money to run Ntel, they aren't going to have the money to run Etisalat.

Meanwhile, lets ignore the absolute shitfest that's their technical dept.

Do you know that since they changed that self care portal I realized anytime you complain they will respond by telling you to restart your device, then mark the problem as solved?

I keep wondering if there's some kinda target system they have in-house that's responsible for that BS.

Last time I complained to MTN and even GLO of all people about network issues, they sent people to me physically to investigate.

Go figure
