the system partition is almost full, the cache is ridiculously small

it is not possible to enjoy this device with the stock rom.

Nope. You are wrong.

There are MTK devices that have CyanogenMod built for them.

What you need is to find one with:

Same processor
Same kernel version
Same Android version as stock ( or even different sef)

You can port that for your own MTK device. It's just a bit more work, and a lot of copying and pasting files.

You need to flash the stock rom with SPFlashtools.

Hopefully the stock rom is available online. Cos TECNO na wah.

Yeah well, TBH this one has me a little stumped. Not many people have this device too.

There's something about this particular device I haven't figured out yet so my attempts have failed.

And time is scarce for me these days.

No harm in getting people interested in it. Way I see it, if we do one successfully, others will follow .

Hopefully we are able to share know how.

Normally these things don't cost money I Know, but it'll be really useful if I can get better ROMs for device

at least they now accept that other phones exist.

The only way you will get to use ntel sim on your Xiaomi device is if you switch to LineageOS or other AOSP ROM

it will NEVER work on MIUI, if you like peg it with super glue.

When taking pictures in low light, just click on the flash icon and select Torch. Then tap the shutter to take ur pic.

Torch is not present on my device in that place

2 things I've found out.

1. To test your device for issues if you are suspecting hardware problems

Go to Settings/About and take on kernel 5 times. It will open the test suite.

2. If you have noticed that sometimes your pictures have this yellowish tint, it's because your device has 2 tone flash, one white one yellow and the camera turns on the yellow one only.

Solution is to disable the flash inside the camera app and turn on the flashlight from the status bar.

That way you have the white light when taking pictures

2Mbps is very good. That's like Airtel 3G speeds during the day. Even better than Glo 3G

Kudos to Ntel, Abuja people are really having it good for just 20 thousand naira.

I'm not joking.

We all know what their service is like at this point. That you continued to subscribe to their service is testimony that you don't have any problem with it.

You don't reward bad behaviour with your money, so if they are really bad why are you still paying them.?
