Aston Villa V Newcastle live on RDV right now. |
but then info is free, and you could get this info online yourself if u simply googled instead of asking here......... anyway for reference purpose for all I'd post how to for Ubuntu. don't know if it will work for mandrake. First, you have to reboot into recovery mode . If you have a single-boot (Ubuntu is the only operating system on your computer), to get the boot menu to show, you have to hold down the Shift key during bootup. If you have a dual-boot (Ubuntu is installed next to Windows, another Linux operating system, or Mac OS X; and you choose at boot time which operating system to boot into), the boot menu should appear without the need to hold down the Shift key. From the boot menu, select recovery mode , which is usually the second boot option. After you select recovery mode and wait for all the boot-up processes to finish, you'll be presented with a few options. In this case, you want the Drop to root shell prompt option so press the Down arrow to get to that option, and then press Enter to select it. In recent versions of Ubuntu, the filesystem is mounted as read-only, so you need to enter the follow command to get it to remount as read-write, which will allow you to make changes: mount -o rw,remount / If you have forgotten your username as well, type ls /home That's a lowercase L, by the way, not a capital i , in ls. You should then see a list of the users on your Ubuntu installation. . To reset the password, type passwd username where username is the username you want to reset. In this case, I want to reset Ashipa's password, so I type passwd ashipa You'll then be prompted for a new password. When you type the password you will get no visual response acknowledging your typing. Your password is still being accepted. Just type the password and hit Enter when you're done. You'll be prompted to retype the password. Do so and hit Enter again. Now the password should be reset. Type exit to return to the recovery menu. After you get back to the recovery menu, select resume normal boot , and use Ubuntu as you normally would—only this time, you actually know the password! |
JBNwaeze: please am using a mini laptop with mandriva linux OS and wish to retrieve my password. Pls what's the way out, or how will I format it Cos it does not have CD-ROM .I basically don't believe you. I don't believe anyone with "I forgot my password stories". I call it BS. I think u either have a stolen hardware with you,(u may not have stolen it yourself) or u just want to gain access to another person PC. secondly, there is no mandrake OS really these days. the last release of mandrake was 2011. so have u been using this PC since 2011 or what? explain the disconnect here .....mmmm |
All three are injury regulars na. Ain't nothing new there. Abi who dey count sanogo and diaby for first team before? Pellegrini has said Nastastic is available and is leaving. That's a decent deal for central defence, has prem experience. .... |
oh boy, 1st day, 1st party. I refuse to spend all my income on aso ebi for this club. meanwhile oya start to sekem, sekem, sekem, sekem. |
u can get it from the phone, if u can extract the ROM. u should self, so that if it bricks u can flash it back yourself. if that's not too convenient for you, then download the ROM from the link I posted earlier and extract. same noni. |
muheheheehe shey u pple have heard? just go to imei.info check your phone imei, once e no bring result or e bring result of wrong phone na yawa o. NCC son talk say all dem devices gon be barred from network soon. as far as I know, all these chinko devices don't bother to register or do certification and therefore don't have valid imei. |
GenBuhari: See what I said that the whole thing is propaganda?Nobody will give u any such list because of the attendant panic, and societal ostracization of the family and friends of such people. And of course probable mistaken identity for those who share similar names. Even that First Consultant hospital will be a ghost town for being named in conjunction with Ebola. Weird that you cannot reason in this direction at your age. Do you also believe HIV is a scam because nobody has published a list of HIV positive people? |
this rdv don start its ogbanje ways. TP no wan green at all. |
oyb: How did 4llerbe become a lawyerLoool. Wetin I do again ![]() |
Ekondu: Pls has anybody successfully combine daar sat(ait) and multi tv with the help of dual lnb and get a good signal on both?I doubt if that's possible. the distance between lnb for daarsat and multitv is more than 5cm if done manually. the dual lnb is exactly 5cm gap for dstv and multitv. |
Ussals: Why do u still need HH motor while people are constructing local neck for 90cm? I personally install one for a client with jack and positioneryou cannot compare the convenience of a HH motor to any fabricated thing. local neck won't do all the SATs on east side on 90cm for one thing. without any fabrication I have E36, E28, E16/17. and that's the limit....... jack n positioner on 90cm? interesting. didnt avert my mind to that. maybe on 1.8M nko? I would need a ground mount pole right? |
ngwanu add me for this parol na. why u dey do like this? |
lifehacker: but who said your help wasn't needed?u sure say u understand? I doubt bro. |
pofolo: Normally it takes btw 3-5mins to scan. Anytin outside dis is "abnormal"... Dstv decoder are like mini-computers, they take time to "boost"too. There are a lot of channels n it increases hence the increase of tp's too. The interactive ability of d dstv decoder ( blizt update, programme schedules ,etc) are but few of d reasons d scanning happens. Truth is, its highly pissing. As much as i see the logic in your view, i still beg to differ. any other decoder used to track DSTV stations, including all these crap chinese boxes boot in less than 30 sec. IKS decoders that need to initiate a network connection after boot are usually up in a minute. DSTV are using really crappy decoders (esp the newer micro boxes) and they further bog them down with security software. i'd really like to know what the exact specs of the processors and ram of those decoders are, i'm willing to bet they are really crappy by any standard. and did i mention really expensive? No other SSP Satellite decoder i've come across like those Abu Dhabi/JSC boxes and even Sky boxes take that long to boot. 5 Mins!! hian ![]() |
Hello guys. Now that the MBC stations on 7W have been changed to that sports bouquet, is there really anything worthwhile on the west side to warrant investing in a Dish for West Side (other than IRIB anyway)? By the way, i'm still wondering why HH motors for 90CM dish is still so unpopular........ i really need to get one so if anyone can hook me up i'd appreciate |
actually MTK VCOM drivers. regular and flashmode drivers. but then again lets leave it to u gurus *Kermit* |
hey muyiscoi. how now? been ages thanks for the link. weird tho, the only part of that course that is new for me (not exactly new, but i never really learnt) is the advanced bash scripting part. i'm not doing so badly ![]() |
Dump your ROM with mtkdroidtools. Or download the stock ROM from your oem and extract into SPFT flash able folder. Its one of the files u get for these. This is one example of why and how ainol is better than tecno. The ROM is available. |
last season Fergie retired and seriously undermined #MUFC's effort in the league/cup. This season its Howard Webb. chai. This is the wprk of Dayokanu's Juju man |
dazekid: Bro, I have a MTK device with me but I have the problem of not being able to access the engineering mode... I have rooted and tried using mobile uncle and the engineering mode codes but I can't get in.. Any suggestions to get access?*#*#3646633#*#* or old mobileuncle app. btw, i'm not a mtk/chinko guy pls and i'm not available for "answer sharply" questions. and u have a fake Chinese device with you. (yes there are 'fake' Chinese devices, quite common with the ones in Nigeria) |
use the app/guide i posted in that numy3g thread |
nani667: Nigerians and cheapness.... Thats how Tecno infiltrated the Nigerian market... Now this INJOO have revolutionized cheapness.... Arranged one crap phone and made it very cheap.... And trust Nigerians to overlook the crappiness cos if the cheapness ![]() lef my peepus abeg. is it ya money? u no want chinko to chop money? very soon u go see 5k smartphone ![]() |
the way all these chinese phone couplers and their naija marketers have bastardized this 'HD' thing is just wawuu ![]() HD ko, KDK nii |
Leopantro: lol. I'm not a rep oh. if i had that choice i would pick the levono because i have never come across anyone that has bought a tecno tab that hasn't come down with issues in my area. lenovo is internationally kmow so rom so aplentylmao. u get time sha. ![]() |
oskaroni: Oga, wetin dz one dey work for?compare with your own
|
Leopantro, the lenovo rep oya over to you o. u have a customer to market to. convince him |
dazekid: I'm 100..LOL..Just came here to see what 4llerbuntu said..Turned out to be nothing..what? u mean my 'yo' post? naah, i deleted what was there. decided it was too risky a mod to be sharing with folks who prolly need their device for things other than experiments |
SHORT AND SIMPLE. YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN. i have tried this, and it worked. i did it because i need a larger /system /data partitions for my experiments with other OS. and i don't mind losing the internal SD card space. and i also hate the running out of data storage error common to crappy chinese software builds (cure to this is to remove the MTK logger apps and deodex your ROM btw) How to modify your EBR and change your partitions for MTK6582. (NOT FOR NOOBS) CREDITS to "Burs" of ChinaPhoneArena Needed: 1. Ebr Tool from http://www2.zippyshare.com/v/92041031/file.html 3. Ebr 1 and Ebr 2 from your stock Rom. if u have a dump of your rom, u can also get it from there. NOTE: This a clean slate hack. you will lose everything on the phone. make backups of apps and app data via tool like titanium backup and copy onto your PC or external sdcard and remove that from the computer. take a CWM backup and also copy that on your pc. (THIS IS NOT LIKELY TO BE USEFUL IN THE LONG RUN). So unrar EBR tweak tool into a folder. copy the Ebr 1 and Ebr 2 files from your stock Rom dump in the same folder. run the tweak tool. choose the size u want for your /data partition. tool will mod the Ebr files and make backups of the original ones in that same folder with .bak extension now copy the modded Ebr 1 and 2 back into your Stock rom folder(replace the stock ones with the modded ones. use SPFT to flash the stock rom. (choose the format and download option) flash and profit. after reboot you can then setup your rom, root, install titanium or whatever software u used and restore your apps/app data. If you earlier changed your IMEI, you will need to do it again. at your own risk without any further advice or help from me, this could possibly work for other mediatek devices YOU COULD EASILY JUST MOD AND FLASH JUST THE EBR FILES IN YOUR PRESENT SETUP, BUT I DON'T KNOW THE POSSIBLE EFFECT IT COULD HAVE ON THE DEVICE SINCE WE ARE MESSING WITH PARTITIONS, SO I'D JUST START AFRESH.
