BIBLE TEXT: John 6:56.
He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me and I in Him
Our theme for this Special Holy Ghost Service is "Give me this Mountain"
This is a request to the Almighty God by asking God to give you a Mountain.
Before He grants that request; you need to ask yourself: Can I take on the Mountain? Do I have what it takes to take on the Mountain?
In Luke 14:28-32, the bible says if you want to build a tower, then the first thing to do is to sit down and count the cost. Do I have enough resources to finish the house? You ask yourself if He gives me the Mountain, will I be able to take it on? Or He said in the bible that if a king is about to engage in a war, the king should check if he has the resources to deal with the enemies.
If God decides to give you a Mountain, are you sure you have what it takes to take it on?
Strength is an internal thing, and not external. Somebody can be big and weak and someone may be skinny but strong.
That is why in Judges 16:4-6; the Philistines asked Delilah to ask Samson what is the secret of your strength that can tear lion into two (2) parts and uproot the gate of a city.
Jesus Christ said in John 6:56 that if you eat my body and drink my blood then I will dwell in you. And if Jesus Christ is dwelling in you according to 1 John 4:4, then you can say boldly that greater is He that is me than he that is in the world.
In Christ, you can take on any mountain and you will overcome.
When you therefore come to the Lord's Table, then you have come to receive direction, strength and supernatural abilities. The kind of strength that overcomes.
Holy Communion is a meal of Champions and Overcomers and the bible kept on saying that you should not eat it unworthily. If you do so, it can make you weak, make you sickly and can kill you - 1 Corinthians 11:29.
That is why if anyone is here now and is not genuinely Born Again, such must not take the Holy Communion.
So if you are here tonight and you know that you are yet to surrender your life to Jesus Christ; please do so now before we go into the Holy Communion proper. So I will count 1 to 5 for you to come and stand before the altar now. Tonight, we will pray for your salvation and the way will be opened for you to partake of the Holy Communion.
As you are in front of the altar now: Cry to God to please save your soul while the rest of us will stretch our hands towards them and begin to intercede on their behalf - pray to God that He should wash them clean of their sin and give them a New Beginning. And also for God to accept them into the family of God.

ADMINISTRATION OF THE HOLY COMMUNION
So when you take the bread tonight pray that Power Greater than all the other powers will flushed out anything that is not of God in you.
As soon as daddy gives the go ahead and the bread is served, you can eat it. When they served you the wine hold on to it so that all of us can drink it together.

PRAYER ON WINE: Father give us the Strength and Power that i need to overcome any mountain, to scatter all those enemies who gather against me, to bring and pull down the wall of Jericho, to be More than Conqueror, and to testified that the Greater One dwells in me. Please release such Power to me afresh Almighty God tonight.

INTRODUCTION:
At least five possibilities exist in having a turning point in one's life. These are when things go from bad to good, good to bad, bad to orse, good to better and a combination of any two or more of these categories. Obviously, these possibilities are determined by the decisions we make and the circumstances in which we find ourselves in our abilities and limitations (1Chronicles 4:9-10). The tide can have a negative or positive turn. May the Lord turn the tide in our favour as we study today, in Jesus' name.

The tide has turned in different directions for different people from time immemorial:

2. From good to bad - King Saul (1Samuel 13:13-14; 15:22-23, 28; 16:14). Samson (Judges 15:16; 16:20-21, 25-28). Eli (1Samuel 2:27-32). Adam and Eve (Genesis 2:15-17; 3:6, 16-19, 23).
3. From bad to worse - Judas Iscariot (Matthew 27:2-5). Michal (2Samuel 6:20-23). Gehazi (2Kings 5:20, 25-27).
4. From good to better - King Solomon (1Kings 3:4, 13; 10:1). Elisha (1Kings 19:19-21).

IT CAN HAPPEN AGAIN
Regardless of your present situation, you can experience a possible turn-around if you do the following:
1. Repent, turn from your sinful ways and turn to God (2Chronicles 7:13-14).
2. Return and ask for mercy if you are already backslidden (Ezekiel 33:10-13).
3. Restitute so that God can make good what is bad for you (Joel 2:25).
4. Redress, seek after God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33; Hebrews 12:2; Psalm 121:1-.
5. Re-fire, do not quit, and keep trying as things can be better (Ephesians 3:20).
CONCLUSION:
Where and what you are, are functions of the choices and decisions you made and still making. Make up your mind to get to the positive side of life. The tide is still turning.

INTRODUCTION:
Addiction is a compulsive tendency developed over a period of continuous and repeated actions or exposures to a certain substance. It can result in loss of willpower and self-esteem, loss of or shift in focus, social and emotional disconnect, poverty, death, etc. According to the American Society of Addiction Medicine, addiction leads to characteristic biological, psychological, social and spiritual manifestations.

TYPES OF ADDICTIONS
1. Substance Addictions (Proverbs 20:1; 23:29-35; Isaiah 5:11-12; 28:7- e. g. drug abuse (cocaine, opioids-heroine, amphetamines, benzodia-zepines), alcoholism, smoking (cigarette, tobacco, marijuana, nicotine), caffeine (coffee, coke, cola), etc.
2. Behavioural or Process Addictions (1Kings 11:4-5; Proverbs 31:3; 1Peter 4:3): This is addiction to mood-altering behaviours such as gambling, sexual activity (masturbation, sex, pornography, etc.), eating disorders, spending, shopping, watching television, etc.
3. Position Addiction is a kind of addiction associated with power, influence and affluence (Proverbs 28:15). Just as with every other type of addictions, the position addict enjoins his power, influence or affluence at the expense of others. Examples are King Saul (1Samuel 19:1; 8-10). OVERCOMING ADDICTIONS
1. Take a stand. You must first of all acknowledge that addiction is an affliction and you are already caught up in its web. Then, you must be willing to break free from its bondage while acknowledging that you cannot help yourself (Psalm 51:1-4).
2. Seek help (James 5:13-16). You must open up to God (Proverbs 3:4-5; 1Peter 5:7) and to people who can be of help in breaking the evil habit. Surrender yourself for proper screening and therapies (pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy and spiritual therapy).
3. Avoid relapse. Relapse is to addiction what backsliding is to sin and its episode is usually worse than before the treatment/deliverance (Matthew 12:43-45; 2Peter 2:20-22).
4. Keep your heart with all diligence (Proverbs 4:23) and renew it daily (Romans 12:1-2; Ephesians 4:22-23). Addiction is really a battle of the mind.
5. You must avoid exposures to all forms of triggers (1Corinthians 15:33; 2Corinthians 6:15-20; Ephesians 5:11-12).
6. Keep the company of those who can encourage you in your journey to total victory (Hebrews 10:24-25).
CONCLUSION:
Withdrawal from addiction often comes with a myriad of challenges usually referred to as withdrawal syndrome. It is incumbent on the brethren not to cast away (Psalm 38:11) the victim at this critical time but to show him/her love and encouragement until the victory is won (2Timothy 1:15-16; Psalm 133:1-3).
