2 lite candles 4 my beloved DADDY
To my Dad who wuz so dear to me. Somtimes i do pray if my husband cud be as gentle, kind, generous, dispute solver as u r . it clocks 5years since u left mum, i, n my two siblings to continue livin on earth, u alwax say u prefer to die 4 ur family than c dem passin away in ur presence. but it wuz very sad on dis faithful day (may 7 002) dat u went out n u didn't return home n landed in d hospital after a ghastly accident n passed away on the (12 of may 02). it rily brought out dis question 'dat so dis is aw ppl live n die'!nw 4 eyes gave birth 2 a child n only 2 eyes watchin over.Wel 10x 4 wooin som1 lik mum cos if not maybe life wil av bin miserable 4 me n my siblins. Dad, ur memory lingers in our heart alwax. RIP

I want to first lit a candle for my elder brother even though I did not grow up to know you but it hurts me to my bone anytime I remember what life could have being like with you around. I have always dedicated a lot of my success in life to you. Miss you Remi.

I want to lit my next candle for my younger brother deji, just like Remi I did not get to know you but I still miss the opportunity to be a biological big sister to someone but I know God knows why you both lived a short life.

Am litting a candle for my aunty that died on the 31st of November  from cancer, the space you left is too hard to feel and no night pass by without remembering how wonderful you were even to strangers, you had a way of making everyone feel comfortable in your presence. I can still remember seeing you in that coffin and wishing you could just wake up but I know God knows best, you were a fighter to the last minute and I guess God knows why he took you on your husbands birthday. I had to a lot of things I wanted you to teach me but I guess your time was up and you had to go. Sleep at the right hand of God till we meet to part no more.

for aunt Nnenna

I picked up my pencil to write but know not what to write
When I was told, I replied that you were sleeping
Early the next morning, I came where they laid you and asked God for your life
In retrospect, I realize that then was one occasion that God did not answer me
“Peace… Hush! Hush!! …she’s resting” I heard
If you could have been won back by a battle, I would have led the warriors
But my tears will not forever flow
For I know you now rest with my Saviour, in Elysium

09/07 will be evergreen

Adieu, Eche here, a candle for you,

I light a whole pack of candle for my dearest mother, who passed on 14 april 2006, exactly 5 weeks to her 50th birthday.
I never got close to her and share beautiful moments together while i was growing until about 6 months before her demise when i got to love her so much above everything else.
If there is anything i would love to do again, i would love to have been so close to you all through my childhood and teenage years.
My promise: To shower my wife and kids with every attention and affection i wish i could shower on you.
I Love You

That's beautiful! cry

I light a candle for my dear Uncle who passed in December 2006, we still have no explanation as to what happened, I just take heart in knowing you're now in a better place and free from all the pain and demons that haunted you daily. I see you so often in my dreams and I know you're happy. I just wish with all my heart that you could still be here to see your newest little great niece, knowing that she's missing out on knowing the most wonderful Uncle this world had to offer just tears me apart. I love you so deeply Uncie & will continue to miss you daily until we meet again.
