SMH

you asked a question you answered
and then you dumbly concluded as well
so kos i didn't answer,
it means no love in my heart
everything is money
nice one
i wont voice what am thinking here, but suffice to say it isn't pleasant

if only you were reading and not spitting fire, i told you a lot about my kind of character
but because sheep-you was just thinking and going in one direction, you didn't get it
i don't love and worship money
i am not your kind that buries it in a pot beneath your bed and lovingly counts it every morning
and of cos i don't believe that money can buy love neither
yet having said all this
i also believe that when moments call for a man to be a gentleman shocked he should rise to occasion
now let me conclude on you
you would never fit that bill kos you don't believe that you spend a dime on a lady
still boils to my stance: stingy
Re: Why Are Nigerian Girls So Money-conscious? by malali: 3:41am On May 24, 2011

At least we have some honest people here. Not these self-righteous guys who come pontificating for us here as if they have never succumbed to the temptation of women.

Funny because a bottle of champagne costs 2.50 Euro around here and nobody drinks it. Everybody drinks Barcardi and Jack Daniels in a can here. Ridiculous what passes as expensive lifestyle in Nigeria. Exposure is really golden.

Nope. That's not champagne. That's cheap Riesling at best. Really really cheap champagne is 20 Euros in LIDL shops (tastes like piss) and if you go to the line of shops known as REAL, you could find good enough champagne from 35 euros upwards but anything that's less than 20 euros in Germany isn't champagne at all. You can go wine tasting around the palatinate region and you get to know prices and different tastes of wines.

Also, loads of people drink wine there, your bacardi and jack daniels in a can people are usually clubbing youths or truck drivers. I've lived in frankfurt, in bad vilbel and in the palatinate in germany before and wine is drunk ALL DAY. Not even kidding.

To be sincere

Its not Nigerian girls but all BLACK GIRLS in the world

A girl from zambia finished my dude's cash and he didnt see a nipple to show for

Quit this generalization and hatred towards our own sisters

How can you generalise and advise other people not to do so? Practise what you preach. All those 15 (or more) Tiger Woods girls were white. Also, if your friend didn't "see a nip.ple", why didn't he go to a pro.stitute where he would be sure of the terms of agreement beforehand? That a guy buys me the world doesn't guarantee that i'll be flashing for him. It's his business if he wants to empty his wallet on me. I don't look hungry and i can pay my own way. If you want to be flashy, be my guest, but if you want your "money's worth", you know where to look. The Zambian girl was decent and so you complain, if she's not, you scream louder. You guys really need to get a life.

My sister, a bottle of champagne, be it at LIDL, Real, EDEKA or Rewe does not cost more than 5 or 10 EURO  and does not cost more than 15 or 25 EURO in clubs (Whether they are cheap champagne or not is not the question since for i care, the so called champagne poppers in Nigeria could be buying cheap champagne). I honestly do not know where you buy your champagne for 30 EURO. That's the reason most guys do not drink champagne around here because it is viewed as cheap drink. Guaranteed there are bottles of drinks you can buy here for up to 40 EURO, but those are definitely not champagne but whiskied-up alcoholic drinks like bailey's and such.

Secondly, i gave the example with bacardi because it is what most people prefer around here and not just clubbing youth and guaranteed that you wouldn't be drinking just a can but cans when going out on weekends, it then begs the question why champagne is such a big deal to people in Nigeria.

Someone even told me that a can of red bull can cost up to 1200 Naira, ordinary energy drink? SMH.

I'm an Abuja girl through and through but not in the sense that it has been used throughout this thread. I have lived here 21 yrs and i know not every abuja chic is out for ur money. I pity these men that come to abuja and think if they throw money around, chics will fall like flies. There are girls, then there are girls,

I recently escorted d secretary in our office to an INEC commissioners office in maitama. Mind u, i'm nt her friend, she recently got a new car, thanks 2 dis same commissioner, and being a learner needs someone in her passenger seat, cos of them VIO guys.
On getting there, despite d crowd waiting outside his office, he told his PA to bring us in. Lol.
Wen d man started eyeing me, n asking who i was, d chic i went with quickly told him 'this one is not like that, she's d bookish type'. Wow, i dnt want to tell u hw good i felt.

This chic i'm talking about has a well furnished apartment in Zone 6, uses two blackberry fones and recently got a car. What does she do? A secretary in a Law chamber.

Another day on a trip with her again, at d court of appeal car park, one mugu lawyer gave her a blackberry bold 2. Complete with d 80k receipt he bought it for, in d nylon bag.

As an aside, she usually tells me, that i'm wasting in abuja. Lol. And gives me gist of hw many of her friends she's hooked up wit big guys. Her clientele includes zenith bank managers, INEC comm, big lawyers etc. Does she evn have time to go to clubs n wiggle her ass? no. The new technique is, get a decent job, eg PA or secretary and then hook up with big men through d job.
Imagine d opportunity of meeting men as a secretary in a law chamber. Always filing this n that in court, serving court processes on large corporations n organisations, rich clients coming to d office etc

i'm not in anyway encouraging what she's doing but these girls abound in abj lots. But, not all abuja girls are like them. There r decent chics trying to ekk out a living, hopping green bus every evening and competing wit these same girls that storm abj in d name of NYSC thrice a year. Trying to manage on ur salary and keep ur head up. Not that u don't get these opportunities, but deciding to be firm in ur principles.

BTW, our visit 2 d INEC comm's office ended wit him dashing us 20k for lunch. I remember her telling me on d ride back, that if he could dish out 20k just like that without knowing me, i could then imagine wat i'd benefit if i was bleeping d guy. Smh
even told me how he gave her 400k to make up d cash she had n get her car.

My being in abj this long has opened my eyes to a lot. And i tell u, half the guys here are jst pretenders. Probably have one rich friend, they all living off. Borrow his car, follow him to club and pretend it's ur money that is being spent, take d chic to ur friend's house, so she assumes it's urs, meanwhile that same guy is managing a one room apartment in one boysquarters in EFAB estate or asokoro or nyanya in filthy conditions.
The real abj guys with money dnt even have time for wat d poster here is narrating. And even if they do, they almost always have a steady girlfriend they cater for.
Those that go to club to spend money n pick girls in abuja are d ones just managing. Get money once in a while and club hop friday nyts lookimg for cheap lays. The girls in those club leave nyanya, mararaba, kubwa, deidei for maitama and asokoro weekends to seek men jst like d poster. They r abuja girls wannabe's. Dont let them spoil the good names some of us have tried hard to cultivate.

Well your thesis still point to the fact that most ABUJA GIRLS are money-conscious.

You may be one in a million.
