Even though I don't support bombing people in thier own country. But this war serves some people right.
A company in Nigeria that wants to start a telecom company got us to spend a lot of money to demonstrate that we csn build them a robust system for running their services. They acted like doubting Thomases they are, thinking that no Nigerian company can make the system for them.
Despite the demo of the complete the system we spent a lot to build for them, they went ahead to to give some Ukrainians almost $100k to build it, giving us nothing.
No there is war in Ukraine, my internal source told me that they could not even reach the Ukrainians now.

Left 5am, got to Onitsha by 2pm. (Spent 2hrs @ headbridge traffic)

Left Anambra by 6.00am got to Magboro by 1.30pm ish
Smooth Journey to and fro.

Would love to make these trips more often... but police and customs kill the vibe tbh

Any car in good condition can reach it's top speed.
The question is, will it have balance/stability at top speed? How quickly will the brakes respond in an emergency?

Given it's suspension, the 504's balance at top speed will be horrible. The Benz on the other hand will urge you to push it harder.

My parents owned both, i never got to drive the 504, but i drove that W123, and it was fast!

2015, fresh from the UK with an MSc. I remember driving into Greenwich on Oyin Jolayemi with hard copy CV. The security men must have thought i was a client as they just asked me to sign in.

At the reception, i told the receptionist, see oh, i just came to drop CV, i know you guys don't accept hard copy, but just help me. She looked at me for a while, then collected my CV.

About a month later, I got invited for an interview. When i arrived the office for the interview, a young chap was trying to submit his own hard copy CV too... the same lady told him point blank: we don't accept hard-copy CV's here. I later got an offer from them, but i had resumed elsewhere.

To the receptionist that collected my CV and facilitated the interview, God bless you immensely. I really should have collected her details to call and thank her properly.

Forget octane boosters, your car will run lean or rich which ever way...

Started using Octane boosters 2 months ago. Before then, my CEL was permanently on.
Scan showed something about fuel trims.
One Saturday morning, I used liqui moly octane booster on a full tank, and redlined from ajao estate to VI. Switched the car off, went for breakfast.
After breakfast, got into the car and switched it on, the CEL was gone.
Till date, it hasn't returned. And I use octane boosters each time I fill up now.

APC knows they will lose if they try it because the hardship that will come with it will make people ask them to leave even before 2023.
Forget subsidy removal next year.

As long as say na one or two cracks wey no impede visibility you no commit any offense.
I drive with a cracked windscreen presently, if any road safety stop me, I give am rule book.
If he insists on charging me, I tell him to hold on so I can call my lawyer.

Not one single issue brother. Car rides like breeze.
I changed coils, plugs, brake pads and serviced nozzles when I got it.
I'm trying to get an older model to hide myself because these ladies won't me be!!

One of the major reasons is fuel economy. Put 60 liters in Camry or corolla, it will take you from Abuja to Oyo state, with small left. You will need like 100 liters in BMW or Benz, to cover same distance.

I have used 40liters from Lagos to Enugu in a 3 series. Them no born your corolla well to do am.

Lol.. I know the car you saw for N1.9m. It's a 118i and it has a 1.6L turbocharged engine which is actually small for a real enhusiast. It's in the same level as a MB A-class.

If the seller were in Lagos, I may have bought it as second car.

BMW'S are not difficult to maintain. Get a BMW engineer to service it and throw in the right parts at the right time then you have no issues.

As a BMW owner, I'll tell you for free; the experience of owning and driving a BMW is not comparable to any Japanese out there.

You would have to peel it off. That's what I did. I had the tinted permit before the ban, rear windows are factory fitted while the front was artificial, even with my tinted permit from last year, I still peeled the artificial off, after they collected 15k from me.

They didn't collect N15k from you, you gave them.

I had a permit (before ban) and my car is not factory tinted. I drive around in Lagos and have traveled to the east twice after the ban. No single policeman has collected N1 because of tint. Not 1

Luxury cars are pay to play. F10s are quite cheap these days, even cheaper than the F30, but you'll find that maintenance costs are still for that of a $60k+ car.
