What is wrong with being realistic & going for a realist. But women want a non-smoker, non-drinker, non-womanizer, non-liar, non-cheater, non-everything when they are not perfect themselves. Only God is perfect and Only God is love.

I always sound this warning: if it means staying in a 1 room apartment as long as you marry your friend that is open, gives you simplicity, joy, laughter, trust, peace, support,understanding & compromise, then so be it. Yeah. These are the same qualities you will wish for your future sons-in-law. You don't want a situation where your daughters come telling you, ". . . .Oh hey Papa, this is my fiance; he's a smoker, a drinker, a womanizer, a liar and a cheater. . . . . ". Perhaps you'll have no problem with it because you'll have taught them to be "realistic".

I personally don't think wishing for a non-womanizer/non-liar/non-cheater is unrealistic. No one wishes to acquire HIV/AIDS, Gonorrhea or Syphilis (which by the way can cause blindness), thus the reason most women dread the several STD factories that keep sleeping around with anything in a skirt (even the Scottish men may not be safe).

Nobody is perfect, but tolerating extreme character flaws from your partner should not be encouraged either.
