geosegun: This Swiszerland that you reference... I bet you don't know much about its internal structure. I have been to Geneva several times and at least twice this year, so I can relate. Geneva has been a different state from the beginning, a financial hub and had to share bordeless country with france and other surrounding countries. It has been a well sustained state and very rich before standing on its own. Infact it was given out much financial support and has one of the most stable economy. What is SE position in the comittee of states in Nigeria? please check the IGR for the given states in SE...
Now let me tell you, it is not a crime to ask for independence...what I want you to know is that, you would want to make sure tjat you are in good standing, financially and economically before you do so, if not the part of country will surfer.
I will likened Biafra to a head of a family, as a part of an extended family, who'd ask for isolation without having both finamcial and ecomomic independence. His family will surfer and at the end of the day they will go back to the extended family for help and support...and what do you think will happen?
Sentiment apart the only region the can collectively ask for independence and not surfer much is SW, but even at that, the SW will pay the price too, but not to the magnitude of other regions.
So your swisszerland example is half baked bro...and in addition, things a very expensive. Most people live in France and work in Geneva due to the expensive nature of the nation....You can guess why now.
Summarry is SE would want to be financially and economically stable before secede, if not, the innocent people will surfer. Having strength is not the ultimate but ability to apply wisdom to judiciously use the strength to maximize positive impact can not be quantify.
Alagbara mònmoń ero baba ole ni...Says a Yoruba adage. Chai, you dey fall my hand bro, don't explain to them, if with a huge population like theirs, there are no people who can do SIMPLE ANALYSIS of what they are asking for, how can your analysis be of any help to them. The driving force is their HATERED FOR HAUSA/ FULANI, you should know better. As ojulowo omo Odua, restructuring fine, dissolution cool. Adaba Yoruba o naani a nkun igbe, ina njo EYE NLO. |

malton: It is the latest political fancy word, for sure.
Even individuals who barely understand what the term means naively suggest that we go with it, just because they believe it is anti-government of the day.
What they may not understand, however, is that they are pushing to have 36 more power-hungry individuals as presidents. More troubles for themselves!
Dare to speak against it, and people take it to mean that you're scared of losing out.
Makes me laugh. Pleeeeeaaaaaassssse, don't explain it to people, let us restructure so that everyone can know the meaning. |

What about this ? This is precisely what they did to CHRIS NGIGE when he tried to become the Governor of ANAMBRA state under ACN. |

TheTechMan: So you are now ready to talk about restructuring finally. Tinubu has been silent on restructuring for a long time and even did not attend the Yoruba Summit on restructuring in Ibadan. He is only speaking now because he's losing credibility over his silence. He has benefiting from the rot in Nigeria that is why he kept quiet and did not support restructuring all the while. Tinubu is not a worthy leader in Yoruba land and must not be regarded as such. He is only after his own selfish interest to amass wealth for himself and unborn generation. Tinubu NEVER announce himself as a Yoruba leader, but our people look up to him for Direction. If you have issue with Tinubu leading the Yorubas, STEP FORWARD and see if EVEN YOUR FAMILY will follow you. |

Which is meaning less.. u as educated person should ask urself WHAT IS SOUTH SOUTH. I'm trying to understand your argument, the South South is a land occupied by people who are different from Igbos, are you saying they MUST be brought under Igbo SUBJUGATION or what?. Have the people in this region EVER asked to be merged with the Igbos?. As you can see they want to stand on their own, I thought this zone was carved out to give the people of this region their own IDENTITY as minority groups within the country?. Or am I missing something?. |

As the coup party was advancing to State House to encircle and capture Shagari, another convoy of Military soldiers headed to CBN.
The coupist withdrew huge sums of cash and also wired forex to their CIA backers!.
No western govt kicked against the Buhari-Idiagbon coup of December, 1983.
Buhari's was specifically requested by Langely to head the Military junta. This came as a result of his highly co-operative stance in perpetuating one of the greatest heist on our collective wealth with the Missing oil money scandal that came to be a hallmark of the highly corrupt Obasanjo regime.
His role was specifically to ensure prompt payments of debt owed back to western banks.
He built nothing and brought hardship and recession with his almost religious obsession to clear backlog of loans.
Thatcher loved him for it because Nigeria's debt repayments couldnt have come at a better time for the UK which was facing one of it's worst economic crisis ever. Another Liar on the loose, so what was the reason behind UK Nigeria face off during that period?. Continue to deceive yourself, your pain is IMMEASURABLE, and it shall soon become UNLIMITED. Rubbish post. So world Bank and IMF will only ask for interests and loan payments, you are indeed a learner. The reason Buhari was overthrown in 1984 was because he refused IMF loans due to their anti human conditionalities. Buhari's exit made it possible for IMF and co to fleece Nigeria, that was the origin of the rubbish that the NAIRA is today. The fleecing did not stop in Nigeria, it went all over Africa and that was how Africans begins to labour under the yoke of foreign debts. I know your problem is because this loan is coming from the Arabs, if you get a job that could turn your life around from a Muslim, REJECT it ' cause I know others will take it. APC is a big mistake, a mistake that urgently needs to be corrected come 2019.
