Why didn't these happen in other cities he has visited? Stop spreading FEAR. All the Yorubas need to do is to come out with their flags, join the rally and make bold statement that Nigeria need change urgently...Except yu are a Yoruba Muslim, there is nothing good about Nigeria....

If I may ask, can you risk you life for Nigeria. Even Buhari has all his kids studying abroad, but he will advise you to make sure your children study in messy Nigeria. This the time to change Nigeria for good, or the union would end!!
Shior,
You now want Afonjeezies to soil your immaculate Biafra rally with Yoruba's ewedu flags?.
When a man is hungry, he will indeed eat his own vomit, the IPOBS are becoming desperate for Yoruba support?.
You guys still don't know your ancestors boundaries? don't worry GIDI GOVERNMENT shall help you.
Yoruba's being telling your fathers, that we are not related since Azikiwe tried to become our premier, they still stopped you guys at Ore, and now this proposed rubbish again don't you guys JUST GET IT?, that Yorubas have no business with you guys?.
I hope you guys are not banking on Fani Kayode, Fayose and Odumakin?, who are not in anyway related to Lagos, dog wey go lost no go hear hunters whistle, you guys are on your own.

"......Every wise Yoruba person should quickly get Odua flags, meet IPOB and propose a combined rally in Lagos.
While the Biafrans will continue their agitation for independence, the Yorubas with their flag threatening secession will definitely force the Northerners to accept Restructuring as a better alternative to Breakup.
Fani Kayode, Odumakin , Fayose Afenifere and OPC leaders should lead this rally alongside the Biafrans.

Nonsense, let everyone carry their load, Yoruba will not join IPOB to do anything.

Politics › Re: What Is The Meaning Of Afonja? by 7lives: 12:30am On Jul 29, 2017
Neoguru1:
You seem to be reading Yoruba propaganda, Afonja was a warrior of ilorin that rebelled against oyo empire, with the help of Fulani, but were paid with a bad coin with the dan fodios killed him off and took over.
Afonja was a war general who refused to be pushed around by a lilly livered Alafin Aole.
Who out of Jealousy of Afonja' rising profile and popularity, decided to send Afonja on a suicide mission to Iwere Ile and Ile- ife for no concrete reasons.
Afonja was actually a man of principle, the earlier people understand this the better.
Why must Afonja attack a defenseless Yoruba's spiritual HQ (Ile-Ife) and incurs the WRATH of the 401 Yoruba Gods?.
Why must Afonja attack an enemy whose army was perceived to be STRONGER than his own for no just cause?, won't that be suicidal for him?.
This was why Afonja became angry, that Alafin Aole will not rest until he Afonja is six feet below.
Afonja only fought back by forcing Alafin Aole who has already become a nuisance in Oyo empire then, to commit suicide.
It is however unfortunate that this incident happened when the jihadists were on rampage and capitalized on this to seize the OYO empire garrison, Ilorin.
To those shouting Afonja up and down, his descendants are Idi Ape people of Ilorin, their decision to accept Islam was the reason they lost the control of Ilorin to the Fulanis.
Afonja did not lose Ilorin, his children did, the earlier everyone understand this the better.
Late Retired General Babatunde Idiagbon, of blessed memory was a descendant of Afonja.
Now I hope everyone knows who an Afonja is, Afonjas are no nonsense people.

so the IBO were marginalized under Jonathan?.
You don't know anything about Nigeria history and this is the problems many of us are encounter today.

When Tafawa Balewa was Prime Minister of Nigeria;

Chief of Army Staff was from SE
Chief of Naval Staff was from SE
IG of Police was from SE
Chief of Defence staff was fron SE
Internal Affairs Minister SE
External Affairs Minister SE
Education Minister South SE
Many other key ministries to SE
Parliament President SE
Unilag VC from SE
University of Ibadan VC from SE
North resisted same at ABU!

Still there was dissatisfaction by SE, the officers from the region killed this same Balewa!!!!

Out of all the most senior officers in Nigeria, SE has 37, none was killed. 8 from the north, all of them were killed. 10 from the west, 2 were killed.

Then Ironsi imposed a unitary system of government on the country so that everything can belong to a region who snatched it!

We must know our history so that when we want to make corrections, we will not end up concealing the truth. This has nothing to do with tribalism but everything to do with the truth.....at times when lies litter the streets.

These are documented facts!

Thou shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.

Ayekooto Akindele. Copied....
This is my major issue with these people, they never remembered how they have marginalized others in the past, they don't want to remember the former things, " dem be like old things have passed away ".
Thank God for history and the internet, people would have been fooled into believing all the soappy tears they were shedding all over the place.

The British with their guns and canon were quite a formidable force to go up against.
It was actually a hundred years of civil war.

This is why I always smile when some people call Yorubas cowards.
After all the killings, the waring parries still had to settle at the negotiation table.
Yorubas have count their costs of war and learn bitter lessons.

Awo is a man that saw tomorrow, sometimes I wonder what would have happened to Yorubas, if Awo had been lackadaisical in his approach to Yoruba matters.
Zik trying to become the premier of Western Nigeria was an attempt at subjugating the Yorubas, thank God Awo saw it and stop him.
Biafrans coming as far as Ore which back fired was also an attempt at annexation ( subjugation ) agenda again, Awo saw beneath the pretext and still stop them.
There must be something about Yoruba land that even we Yorubas don't know yet, I also heard that some expansionist tried to hide under Islam to dip their Quran in the Atlantic ocean, thank God Ibadan warriors stop them at Oshogbo.
Have Yorubas ever wonder Hausas and Igbos have always collaborate to sabotage every Yoruba developmental ideas? Its is a mutual hatered born out of their needs to make the Yorubas subservient to them.
Let us maintain a common front against the enemies, no inch of Yoruba land must be left behind when Nigeria disintegrate, our people must not become slaves in another country.

To today causing chaos between Yoruba and Hausa and guess who's under threat
Who's leaders are begging and denouncing kanu
Wearing Fulani outfit up and down
This is why a man needs to be careful of what he wishes his neighbor as it might just happen to him.
I don't understand the Igbos obsession with Yoruba land,
it is indeed very wrong for Zik to attempt to become the premier of Western Nigeria when he has his own home land.
I see it as an attempt to subjugate the Yorubas.
I believed that the failure of this attempt is the origin of Igbo people hatered for the Yorubas.
Another failed attempt at taking over the control under the guise of liberating Yoruba land by Ojukwu was all it takes to make Yorubas their enemies.
The polical situation in the country since the 70's shows that Igbos and Yorubas do NOT have any kind of UNDERSTANDING, we don't agree ' cause we see things differently.
The June 12 saga also revealed a lot about how the Igbos see the Yorubas and what they wish the Yorubas.
May God rest the soul of PA Abraham Adesanya, this man chartted a way forward for the Yorubas by getting us to understand that ( we just need to stay focused and continuously pushed for deannulment of June 12 mandate, without sacrificing our people and our homelands ) the strategy paid off and we survived with minimal damage.
This is what some people cannot understand, they were like why can't Yorubas suffer calamity, why are they always on point?.
It is always not easy to take the right decisions even as an individual, how could millions of people take a decision that favours them and continuously destabilize the hidden agendas of others?.
ABINIBI NI O, ki I she ability.
The understanding that ( igba eshinshin to ba doju ko owo, iku ni won maa ku ) is enough to keep us going.
As long as we continue to maintain a common front in our survival quest, we shall continue to forge ahead regardless of anyone's hatered.

They can discover new ways to stand on their own, sign agreements with other wealthy regions or with Abuja for private foreign investors.
It doesn't have to be like that of U.S outrightly.
What l'm saying is that the terms and conditions can be debated. Biafra can sign agreement with south south to use their newly developed ports for instance, while they supply other things to the south south region.
Middle Belt can sign agreements with other regions as well, the regions can even encourage more foreign investors at this stage, it's like having about 5-8 new separate countries trying to start all over. There would be city registration in each state that accounts for all data, with no region having more than 6 states and at least 3.
This system is not perfect, and there may be difficulties or set backs, but it is better than what we have now.

morbeta:
Igbo must leave the north it's a decoy; the real target is the impending Yoruba presidency- Now, let's explain it out.

The whole idea is to cause a civil crisis by chasing the Igbo's around in inner northern communities, this will then lure the military in, to carry out a coup, and end the Osinbajo nightmare.

The northerners have recently lost all their strategic allies (middle belt, Niger delta and Yoruba, due to their serial abuse) and Yoruba are poised to, and will constitutionally take Over from a sick and incapacitated Buhari.

They need a civil crisis to bring in the military and hold on to power, waste some time, before planning a fresh democratic process that will favour them yet again. A kind of reset button. This must be the reason behind the recent coup rumours, and in testing that water, they realized it will be unacceptable to the west, as military intervention is fading across the world. But if you throw in a law and order breakdown, it will be justified.

Remember, Nigeria military is an all northern affair presently.

If their plans succeed and there's a civil crisis via the "igbo must go crisis", they expect the international community to even plead with the military to step in and restore normalcy.

Make no mistake about it, the northerners can't threaten to scatter Nigeria, because they need the present state of things like oxygen. So, this is a clear classic decoy

Mine is to analyse.
Says who?, the moment there is a constitutional crisis, Nigeria is a goner, I don't think they will want to give that a try.

God bless Joe Igbokwe.

The people shouting Biafrau.d today were subservient to their Hausa-Fulani masters and they actively participated in the annulment of June 12.

They ran away from SW, wishing war on us.

They even organised 1million man match in support of the devilish Abacha.

We vividly recall the inglorious role played by cowardly Humphrey Nwosu, useless David Mark and Halilu Akilu and Saboteur Arthur Nzeribe and Lucifer IBB.

At the end, our tact, wisdom, resilience, patience and international diplomacy paid off. We demystified and dismantled the Fulani Oligarchy, we sent the military packing and got South to get to power after 20years. IBB was sent packing and Abacha died as a chicken. That was dealing an eternal blow to the enemies of Yorubas.

The same Lagos Abacha wanted to level is the same place some jokers are saying they developed, as if their forefathers even developed a village.

Special thanks go to the likes of Frank Kokori and his Nupeng and Pengassan team, TELL Magazine, Newswatch Magazine, Colonel Umar, Sen Shehu Sanni and Ndubuisi Kanu etc for the support they gave Yorubas during the trying time.

To the Yoruba Nation from Jebba to Ilaje, Saki to Okitipupa, Badagry to Kaaba, I salute your courage and resoluteness. We should always remember that our forefathers were warriors that bestowed an industrious and prosperous Empire on us, while our Grandfathers played active role in the liberation of our nation from the colonial masters and our Fathers fought for the democracy we a all enjoying today.

The onus lies on.this generation to rekindle the light of hope of our forefathers and tap into the wisdom and history of our ancestors and further forge a path of greatness that we shall bequeath to the coming generation. So that history can be magnanimous to our generation in years to come.

God Bless courageous MKO Abiola and Kudirat (for their supreme price that they paid for us to have democracy, instead of fleeing)
