You're lacking in basic economic principles to understand how currencies value is determined.

If not, you'd know and understand that Nigerian Naira was already dead and buried by GEJ and his fellow thieves before PMB came.

If not for PMB, many of you would have actually died of hunger. A simple reference is the fact that 29 states were owing their workers for several months before PMB came. It was PMB who had to provide bail-out funds for those states to save the workers and their dependants from hunger that could have sent them to their early death.
Some boys were telling me how Buhari just need to die for the price of goods and services to come down.
The most frightening thing about this is that these are students of economics, I asked them to look into demand and supply of dollars index of Nigeria, to get the bigger picture of what happened to the Nigerian economy.
These fools were like "wetin concern dollars with demand and supply ", the problem of this country is ignorance, most of the noise makers don't even know that dollar is not a Nigerian currency and so our government cannot just print dollars to dish out to some stupid importers of vanities.
Nigerians had better wake up and start looking at how they they can earn their own dollars.
It took me ten years to realise how difficult it is to make dollars consistently.
When some of us ventured into forex trading way back, we were laughed and jeered at, but today I personally thank God for trying harder.
The people of this country should forget about waiting for the government to provide forex for now, the government cannot give what it doesn't have hence the high forex rates.
Unemployment did not start today but had gotten worse because of this dollar issue.
Nigerian youths should look into how Nigeria made her forex from agriculture in the past and tap into it.
The purpose of Education is to open up our minds to make us independent, not to be waiting to work for those that will keep us perpetually at the tail end of the ladder.
I walked out on my employers 10 years ago because I wanted to take charge of my life, I already knew that my employers cannot sustain me in the future.
People needs to WAKE UP and take charge of their lives simple.
No matter how much the government, the family, acquaintances and friends wants to help, when they are financially incapacitated, they can do nothing. My advice this morning is " WAKE UP "

Buhari wasn't president when factories in Ikeja began browning off and selling their facilities to churches. He wasn't here when 80% of SME died away and the rest went on life support. Buhari wasn't president when landlords were being watched charging rent in US dollars and stores were selling in hard currency. Buhari wasn't president when wheat farming collapsed and Cote d'Ivore overtook us in Cocoa production. Buhari didn't destroy Iwopin paper mill or ALSCON in Ikot-Abasi, a single factory that at a point brought in 30% equivalent of what we got from oil. Buhari didn't take us from net exporter of oil palm products to lazy importers of the same. Buhari didn't make us importers of petrol and diesel nor is he responsible for killing of the textile industry. He didn't destroy our forest resources or run down power stations like Egbin until only three out of twelve turbines work. People shout policy but there is no policy that can transform a 'post-war' economic environment with the snap of the finger and government should just tell the people that this thing is what it is. Government also has to water down expectations on oil prices ever rising above 55 dollars because it is just not possible in the age of Shale and renewables. This nation is cornered and it has no choice than to reform it's lifestyles and go back to work. It has to reform it's justice system such that it can jail it's thieves and reward those who do things right. We are refusing to allow hardship nudge us in the right direction but prefer to explain our woes as a personal failure of Buhari to draft policy from sheer air. They were trampling people to death on job queues before he came on board. Where are your farms to save you from food importation or your refineries to save you from seeking dollars to import fuel? Where are your schools to educate your children without sending them to foreign universities when you can afford it? He isn't two years in control yet and I believe he deserves a little more understanding given the gradient of the point where he took over. Buhari met all these things that way, plus a devastating war that devoured the nation from a region and we have the choice of working with him to restore and rebuild the country or allow ourselves to get us into false sentiments and allow wolves in sheep's clothings take advantage of us to return us to the years of the locust. ‎
God bless you, as it is now some are even blaming Buhari for everything that happened to them, as if those things were not there before Buhari's election.

Ceterisguy:
I am not a supporter of PMB neither do I pray for him to die, but one thing is certain, peradventure Buhari dies today (which is common to every living soul), the situation of the country will be worse than it is now under Osibanjo.

REASONS
- Osibanjo is not a career politician and neither is he so smart like Idiagbon to manage the economy of a big country like Nigeria. Remember, academic qualification/prowess is different from Political power. After all, there are so many Professors in the Senate who have never sponsored nor supported any motion in the Senate.

- Tinubu will wreck havoc on the economy of Nigeria under Osibanjo as the later is more of a Puppet to the former. Already, everyone knows his influence in the economy of Lagos State where he holds swear as a demi-god. Remember, Tinubu has already captured Finance Ministry (Adeosun) FIRS (Fowler) and so many other strategic agencies. Imagine when his 'boy' becomes the President. He may even auction the country.

- The North will frustrate Osibanjo the way they did to Jonathan and this will drastically affect his performance.

- The economy is already dead - There is high level of unemployment co-existing with galloping inflation (stagflation), there is liquidity freeze in the economy, there is oil price shock in the international oil market which has resulted in dwindling revenue of the country. Therefore, it will take years and smart President to revamp the economy of the country.

MY OPINION!
You mean the way Tinubu wrecked the economy of Lagos?, this guy is on something worse than weed, are sure you're not high on your soak away?.

Your brand of economics must have been handed over to you by your forefathers and not what our learned Adam Smith, Keynes coined for this modern world. Common sense should inform you that high price of oil is always a major boost to our huge forex reserve. You keep harping on demand and supply as if you are talking to kindagarten kids. What is Nigeria producing that is internationally recognized? Please don't mention oil, I need a commodity or an innovation undecided of course none. Need I tell you that Nigeria is a consuming economy that thrives more on monetary policies of its government and this is where your uncle Buhari lost it. The fact is, Muhammadu Buhari's rudderless monetary policy and not a drop in oil prices is responsible for Nigeria's current woes. Impossible to take a free market economy, turn it into a command economy because one lacks critical thinking capacity and expect different results - no way.
Incompetences, Cluelessness........wrong policies, all these destroyed our economy......no thanks to apc led government. I am tired of educating kids. Demand and supply mostly affects a producing economy more and not as you imagined for a consuming economy as Nigeria.
The fact that you play dumb does not mean all Nigerians will play too.
Imagine an agent of corruption like you waiting for Buhari to wave a magic wand to fix within two years, what your heroes destroyed over a period of 16 years.

Have you ever heard about EiENigeria? I guess yes,all thanks to @official2baba planned protest. EiENigeria is an online platform credited for spearheading the occupy nigeria 2012 protests. As at that time, the then president Goodluck Jonathan advised against that protest on the basis of its political colouration and self serving interests of desperate power seekers, but he was called a clueless and an inept fool.

However, the occupy nigeria protests that was suppose to be a wake up call to all nigerians in protest against corruption and government impunity had the likes of:
Tinubu;El-rufai;Kayode Fayemi,Rita Onochie.
And guess what,do you know who financed that protest? He goes by th name Bola Tinubu. If Tinubu financed a protest spearheaded by EiENigeria, then he dictates to EiENigeria. Afterall,he who plays the piper dictates its tone.

Furthermore, even a deaf and dumb knows that Bola Tinubu has been sidelined in the scheme of things as regards how politics is played at the federal level,he has no say over who gets what, unlike lagos state where he is the oga. Tinubu supported Buhari because he thought he would dictate to him. How myopic.
Even a not so brilliant person can discern that Tinubu wishes President Buhari the worst, judging by the way the latter treated and treats him. The February 6 protests would have been a way for Tinubu to hit back at Buhari and destroy any chance of a Buhari win come 2019.The idea is this, pitching President Buhari against the people to the extent that he stands no chance of winning the presidential elections if he does contest. Even if he does rig, President Buhari wouldn't have the numbers to win comfortably.
I'm glad another self serving scheme from the house of Tinubu was truncated by the government,we truly deserve this wickedness we brought on ourselves.

Don't you wonder why the north came together and fought for 3% of Nigerias VAT, 99% of our VAT comes from the South and when Lagos asked for just 1% it was turned down.

Don't you wonder that when people of the Fulani extraction fought for their own local government in Jos, a land they were complete foreigners they were immediately rewarded with it but yet we keep fighting for restructuring and some parts seccession yet we can't address this in Nigeria.

Don't you wonder that Bauchi has stopped selling lands to Non indigenes because there are reports there is Oil there, they don't want non-northerners to own the land so as not to get the oil so there is a complete ban of sale, yet 95% of the Oil wells in the South South are owned by northerners.

Lets ask questions. Lets stop being fooled. we need to unite in the Southern Region, thats the only way we can correct things. We think we are smart by internet wars and insults, afonjas, flat heads ,NDAs etc thats what we call each other, the northerners rejoice at this, this is how they maintain power.

The funny thing is we are the educated ones, the master of industries, the skilled ones, the enlightened ones, the ones that bring the money used by the Nation , the ones who are exposed yet we can't be smart enough to see we need to collaborate.

Since 1960 only 3 southerners have ruled, and these are the times that had the highest recorded growth for the country. Lets be smart.
