Jesus Christ is the only way to God. He is God, the son of God, man and the son of man. He is both the beginning and the beginningless. He is the end and the endless. He is He that lived and then died for our sins. He is the bright and morning star(A morning star is the opposite of a bright star, since a star's brightness is only well seen when it is dark,ie at night) But Jesus Christ always takes the 2 opposites. That is why He is both: the bright star and the morning star. He is both the root and the offspring of David. That means He is both the father (root) and the son (offspring) of David. Like I said earlier, Jesus Christ always takes the 2 opposites. He is both the greatest and the least in the kingdom of God. When He said that the least in the kingdom of God was greater than John the Baptist, what He meant was that although John the Baptist was greater than all men,He Himself (Jesus Christ) was greater than John the Baptist. He is both the Lion of the tribe of Judah and the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Imagine being a lion and a lamb at the same time. It is only Jesus Christ that can combine the two extremes. |
Sixsigmahub:That was what the man said. Even his mother also confirmed that there were some mysterious events involving him. |
R.I.P I remember the story of a man who said he drown when he went swimming. When he regained consciousness, he saw himself in a very beautiful city under the river. People thought he had died and his body was under the river, not knowing he was alive in a very beautiful city under the river. He got married to the queen of the coast. One day, the queen asked him to come back to the Earth and reborn. She put a sugary substance in his hands and began to do incantation. He started becoming smaller and smaller till he became a baby as the queen was doing the incantation. Suddenly he found himself in the womb of a woman. After 9 months,he was born, but he still remembered everything that happened prior to his current birth. I don't know where the man is presently. |
I use to give money to all kinds of people. Sometimes I would be going on the road and someone would meet me and told me that he was traveling and lost all his money. He said he needed N2000 to get to his destination. I would give him the money. Another time, someone would claim he had not eaten for 2 days and I would give him money to eat. Later,I discovered that those people would still go to another location and continue the fake story. I equally discovered that some of them were great smokers or drunkards, who, whenever they run short of money to smoke or drink, would go about deceiving people to get money. Some of them even have money, but they still go about collecting money from unsuspecting members of the public. Some of them are even here in Nairaland. |
KingressTaries:Ok. |
Op, the correct thing is: Have you ever gone. It is not: Have you ever went. The following statements are grammatically incorrect: Have you ever went. I don't has money. I have forgetted/I have forget. I did not forgotten. I did not did. I wanted to went. You are very very monkey. Good mornings. She have not did it. I did not understanding you. Does you has money? |
I just went there for the fun of it and to feel among. All my reading I did it in the day time because I had a lot of time during the day. Although I was one of the best in my set during my undergraduate, when I went for masters,I discovered I did not know anything. It was during my masters that I really knew my course. Anyone who has ever done masters can testify to what I am saying. During your masters, you will always discover that that is the time you really know your course. There was a man who had first class. But when he went for masters,he testified that he discovered that he did not know anything compared to what he knew during masters course work and research. He understood everything in a new light. No wonder they call it masters. You master your course. You master your course to the extent that when you go for PhD, you can bring out your own philosophy regarding the course. As for going to night class: It was really fun when I think of it now. In fact, undergraduate days were one of the most fun filled parts of my life when I look at it now. |
That is how it always is. I remembered during my undergraduate days, there were times when one felt sad/depressed about the results, the prolonged stay at school, the many assignments, together with other issues from the home, relationships, etc. There is no student who does not feel sad at least once in a while over issues pertaining to school. The best thing is to persevere. I remember some students who got tired and left school. Some are regretting it now, saying if they had known, they would have borne the pressure of schooling. I know one girl who thought that going to school was so much stress. She dropped out. Now her female friends she started together are working in state ministries, and now, she is wondering why she could not persevere when her friends were persevering. It is the perseverance in the face of sadness, depression, and tiredness that will make God to bless someone with a good job after graduation. So just take whatever you are going through as something you must go through to get a good life in the future. Even during my masters degree program, some people got tired and left. I finished my masters in 2016 and one of my colleagues who left the program before our external examination, is even regretting it now. During my masters,I went through a lot for 4 years, but I persevered. Now I am enjoying it because God has rewarded me with a lecturing job. |

That was the reason I did my MSc in Sokoto between 2012 and 2016. Those years,I traveled a lot from Sokoto to Akwa Ibom state. I purposely selected Sokoto so that I would be traveling to my state often. I traveled and it was one of the best moments of my life. I sometimes took off from Sokoto and would stop at Enugu,Imo or Kogi where I would book a hotel and slept. The next day, I would go around the state seeing things before taking off for my state Akwa Ibom. I discovered the perculiarity of each state I entered in terms of the weather, the people and the structures. I really enjoyed those days. |

Rahym001:You are welcome Sir. |
Rahym001:Yes. It can come anytime. For instance, I received alert yesterday that part of my July's salary has been sent to my future pension account. It means that I have been paid but I have not yet seen alert. Tomorrow,I may receive the alert. The thing is that sometimes salaries may be paid during the weekdays like Tuesday or Wednesday, but the alert would start arriving from Friday, Saturday or Sunday. |

Congratulations. May her leadership continue after school. May she become a governor, senator, minister, etc, after school. Amen. |
NgoziLovelyn:Thanks. But they can force someone to collect it whether the person is nice or not, particularly if they are bigger than the person. Like maybe she is huge or something like that. |

NewDelhi:Ok Sir. |
Those Olosho can terrorise people ehh. I remember when in those days I was passing the streets where they used to stand. One of them put her legs and I almost fall. She then said I matched her legs and forced me to collect the N1500 which I had on me. Some of them,if they don't have money and you mistakenly pass near them, they would say you just marched their legs and you will end up giving them something as reconciliation. |

When people say Nigeria doesn't have lions and leopards, I begin to wonder. In a vast land like Nigeria with large forests, Savannah and mountains, there is no way lions and leopards will not exist. They may be few in number, but they sure exist. It is unimaginable that in a vast area like Nigeria, lions and leopards do not exist. Nobody has ever entered all the thick forests, Savannah, bushes and rocks to say with certainty that these wild animals do not exist. If you have ever traveled around Nigeria, and have seen the kind of thick forests and wide Savannah that are here, you will know what I mean. Moreover, animals do move from one location to another. Assuming that all lions, tigers and leopards were destroyed out of Nigeria today, other ones would still enter the country without people knowing because people don't stay in the forests and Savannah to know what is going on. As human beings,we assume that animals need our approval to exist anywhere. But it is not true. Animals do live independent of our approval and knowledge. There are some animals that don't even know that creatures like us exist. They don't need our approval or pride |
