What a loss.

What my eyes saw in Bamenda when I travelled to Cameroon made me know the disadvantage of not being a citizen of a country and the animosity of Africans against one another.

From Ikom border up to Cameroon, the Cameroon military and police treated us with disdain. They will tell you to come down from your vehicle and threaten you that they can kill you and no one will see your corpse.

They are damn corrupt such that the money I spent within Cameroon road for bribes alone was more than all the money I spend during my duration in Bamenda.

That Cameroon is a jungle on its own!

That means there's possibility that they just accused him wrongly just to have reasons to kill him.
who knows, May be they soldiers requested for bribe and the young man refused which lead to his death.
There's more to this death.

How can a normal person save 8 million just to go and work for another person in another country when he can use that same capital to be a big boss in his country?
Those that travelled to Arab countries to work as house keepers are regretting it. Had it been they had the idea of using their money to invest in their business will they be crying for help?
Many are suffering outside this country but u wont know.

Ppl have different opinions on this. Mine opinion is THOSE THAT ARE STRUGGLING TO SURVIVE SHOULD USE THE MONEY THEY HAVE FOR BETTER INVESTMENT INSTEAD OF TRAVELING TO ANOTHER COUNTRY TO WORK UNDER SOME1 WHO MIGHT NOT RESPECT U.
American embassy is the highest fraudster in the country yet everyone worships them and praise them. Americans knows that they wont give visa during certain times. Yet they will give u an appointment collect money form u and still deny u the visa. Who does that in their country? Is that not an insult? Are they not suppose to tell Nigerians that ppl of certain age bracket wont be given visa till so so time or day. But they will allow u to to pay for visa application fee, give u an appointment and wont give u visa even when u have no bad intentions.
Am in my country nobody will pursue me. America was once like Nigeria and they grow up and be who they are now.
There ppl in Nigeria who are 100% fine and not in poverty yet such have never crossed tge border.
There are Nigerians who are billionaires without the effort of travelling to a Whiteman's country.
Ppl like u always believe that without Whiteman's country u will be a nobody.
Yet the Whiteman will want to make sure u have more than sufficient amount of money in your account before travelling to his country.
Use ur head. Learn how to talk in a public forum.

It isn't as easy as people make it seem. Let me not even say it's not easy at all. From procurement agencies, to customs to marketing and delivering your product is a hell of a task.
I don't want to discourage you but just want you to have a realistic expectation. I've done this for almost a year now(it's not my primary business for know sha) and i can share you my own experience

- it's not easy at all , it's not free money and it's real hard work
- but it's very profitable , you can buy a product at 2k ( plus shipping ) and have at least 7k profit (even after logistics fees and facebook ad cost )
- if you're someone like me who doesn't like/know how yo approach people to market you must learn facebook ads ( there are free courses , but still be ready to burn money on running and tweaking )
- to get the best out of it , you will need a website (either you learn wordpress , or u use one of those one page sales page )
- be ready for facebook , your best performing ads can just stop performing and facebook can even shut down your ad account with no explanations
- Nigerian buys are crazy too, most the so called ecommerce transactions are usually pay on delivery...someone might order now and when the goods are about to be delivered say he's no longer interested
- logistic companies might not deliver on time and make u lose your sales too

like i said i don't want to discourage you. But be realistic and don't let anyone paint a fantasy fot you. It's good business but it's real hard work

Importation is not for small scale entrepreneurs, It can favour you if only you have the shop to display it or you re not in Nigeria, If you re investing millions, if might work for you as you will be selling in bulk and giving discounts to customers and that will help your business grow, But if you re investing below 500k without having a shop to showcase it that will help the online sells, kindly stay off

Some1 told me that there are buyers waiting to buy the goods immediately its been cleared. Please, its that true because that's were i rely on. Am new in it.

Didn't ppl die in plane crash? Ppl also die in abroad via accident like that of today.
There's risk in your going out of your house. There's risk in your going to your friends house. Anything can happen to anybody.
If u have worked offshore before, u will understand that theirs risk that an engine can kill u instantly within seconds or fire can burn u while on duty. Ask ur engineer friends that work offshore.
If u are a doctor, a simple mistake can make u contact deadly disease while saving ppl's life. Ask of the Doctor and nurse that helped to prevent Ebola.
If u have a gas cooker or stove in your house, there's a risk in it. Ask of the house that was on fire last week in lagos. But that didn't stop ppl from doing what they are supposed to do. It didn't stop ppl from using electric stove or gas cooker or stove as some ppl call it.
If u are a friend to ppl , jealousy can make ur best friend kill u secretly. No one deserves that.
And dont be that kind of friend.
There's always risk in everything. I dont know what u do for a living. All i know is that if u check well, there's a risk in what u are doing.
Learn from ppl. Always have reasons to win and not reasons to be a failure. If u fail 8 times, remember that u stood 8 times. Never give up on whats good. Never back off from something positive that can add positive value to u.
Think positive. Be positively patient when it comes to business and u will enjoy it.

And who told you all proprietors of school are doing financially better than anyone who uses same money to travel out.

How can a human being spend 8 million just to travel out to work for some1?
When u get there, u will spend money for an apartment, food and health. U dont have insurance so things will be difficult. So why not save urself the stress and be a boss of your own.
The only thing that can take me outside this country is vacation or to learn more for my sch project. Am a boss of my own and i dont regret it one beat.

This is how you know people that have never touched 1m raw cash in their life.

Sorry am already into it.
. And in the village, 90% of ppl cant afford going to big hospital for treatment. So i opened a health center in village.
Now am thinking of adding cars and schools to it.
With 8 million, u can have a nursery and primary schools.
With 8 million u can open a motor part business.
With 8 million u can open a good health centers in your village.
With 8 million u can have a standard pharmacy.
With 8 million u can be a major distributor in diapers.
With 8 million u have a mini mall.
All u have to do is to think of what ppl actually need in your location then move into it. If u can't handle it, invite an expert let them guide you.
Everything in this country is money but u need your brain to start thinking.
Even if u want to move to agriculture, just make sure ppl knows what u are doing and u will have customers.
So when i use the word THINK am always thinking of business that wont hurt anyone

If he goes to an embassy to apply for a visa, they wont ask him much but will say "thank u Sir. We are pleased that u are coming to invest in our country. "

I understand ur view. My parents were brought up in the village and they are well disciplined.
My parents didn't take me to overseas for me to behave well.
Child upbringing is the responsibility of both parents and not country.
Yes country may contribute but its not a major work of President.
In U.S., children are misbehaving. They have access to gun and have less attention to education. Even when they have great opportunity for it.
In U.K. children use knife to kill at a tender age.
In Nigeria children engage in bad things including cult.
I have seen children that behave well despite been brought up in a poor environment.
Everything depends on the role of the parents.
What kind of idea do u impact on them?
What do u encourage them to do? And how do u do it?
Am not a regret to my parents and i didn't cross the border.
It depends on us PARENTS!

Instead of spending so much just to travel, it will be better for me to use that money for investment.
Then countries will be looking for u. I applied twice and i didn't get the visa.
Since then i only think of investment in my village, town or city, state and thinking of expanding it in the country.
U don't have money for business right?
but u have money for international flight tro and fro.
U also have money for visa application and for processing fee.
Now put the money together and concentrate with all seriousness in an investment. Allow the business experts to guide you and u be a millionaire.
I wont encourage some1 whose struggling to use such amount to do what?

I think your husband still loves u.
He just want you to improve in prayers.
When he started u, may be u didn't do more to stop him. Then he got used to it and it kept growing.
You are helping him to save money. He comes back and sees food on the table when he actually knows that he stopped giving u money for food.
That made him know that u love him so much and that was y he made u believe that u cant find another man to remarry. By telling this, will make u wave the idea of remarriage. And keep u close to him.
Don't be surprised that his parents might be aware of this. But are waiting for your complain.
Since he knows how u pray before u got married to him and he is still acting this way. He loves u but believed that he will change u. And that change is what he is working on but u spiced it by always dropping a delicious meal when he comes back.

ADVICE
Any time you want to pray, call him to join u in the prayers. By the way, when two or more pray together, love grows, presence of God is always there.
Call him as a wife calls her dear husband and speak reason to him in a passionate way..
Once in a while just tell him that there's no food because there's no money to prepare it. And be serious about it.
Before u go to his parents to complain make sure that u find out if he secretly told his parents. This will help u to prepare yourself.
Make him understand that God still hears your prayers because you never lied to him before marriage.
Ask him if there's any other thing that's disturbing him. Ask him, to tell u, what u your offence and u will try to make amend. Dont be surprised there are other things he might open up.
I don't think thos prayer is the major reason for his silence.
Continue to respect and show love to him.

Thats why u keep your eyes on them when u as them to take care of the baby.
These children are not matured enough to watch over a baby of this age.
Normally when there's a new member of a family, the older children gets jealous and may even start hitting their baby with anything they can get. This is Because they dont want to share the love of their parents with anyone..
Thats the more reason an adult is supposed to watch over the baby.

From what u said, her husband have been telling her not to talk to ppl and her assisting u with ur child after school and your helping her to bring her child from sch might be one of the reasons her husband beats her.
Am not supporting the beating at all. Some men wants their wife to be so isolated and are ready to cut off any source of communication from ppl. When they see women talk to their wife, the tag it some1's corrupting their beloved wife. When they see a man talk to her harmlessly, they suspect that both are having affair.
Such men wont want their wife to have something doing. 90% of Wife to such men are usually a stay at home wife. And 70% of these men have anger problem.
I keep saying this, a marriage without trust, honesty, love, care and understanding is in great danger.
