Angrygoat: Trash. They sell clones. From perfumes to sneakers to some cheap quality jeans. I'd rather shop on aliexpress konga and amazon than shoprite. Useless mall selling clones disguised as original. I saw one fake Vietnam Nike tagged 35k. I mean wtf. Another store in the mall sells real fake perfumes. Best na to just waka round, toast some ugly hookup girls, chop rice, snap and go aous. Na wetin most ppl dey do and of cos its a place to show off. Snapping at shoprite doesn't add to your assets, doesn't make u rich in reality. Ignorance really is bliss... Shoprite is one store, and NOT the entire mall! SMH > |

flokii: Noone has stopped your muslim women from wearing hijab in their homes, to mosques or markets.. however they won't wear hijab to Christian or missionary schools as that will be a slap on the Christian faith.
Same way traditionalists, masquerades etc. leave their practice at home is the same way muslims must leave theirs and abide by the rules.. dem full Covenant University, pagans and muslims while the members who laid the foundation can't afford to send their wards there.
Sultan should go and rest.. if you want to wear hijab, limit it to your muslim setting.. anything missionary, christians or the Military will never allow hijab. Maybe when you get your Boko republic all of you can be dressing like 'eleha' so we'll know you've covered everything up. Why not? Can a Jew wear a Yarmulke in a Christian school? How exactly does a student covering her head prevent other students from studying in school? Nigerians/Africans keep fighting/killing each other over IMPORTED foreign religions... Meanwhile, the same people/missionaries who brought you Christianity allow hijabs in their own schools. SMH > |

Nemere2020: Constitution Review: Sultan proposes unrestricted wearing of Hijab by Muslim women https://dailynigerian.com/constitution-review-sultan/ Not a Muslim and don’t really get the Hijab thing... But completely AGREE with the Sultan’s position.
Unless there’s a particular reason it’s inappropriate (eg, security)... People should be FREE to wear the Hijab EVERYWHERE they choose to.
Sadly, the opposition to Hijab just seems to be religious... Nigerians cannot be INTOLERANT of diversity and think they’re civilized.> |

nzeobi: Was it not this same akwa ibom that built a stadium that doesn't generate money instead of building a refinery even if its small refinery.
In Nigeria we celebrate building infastructures for a very poor population Nothing wrong with building infrastructure... It just have to be the right sort of infrastructure. Eg, Building flyovers in Yola or Damaturu is wasteful... Building good roads that connect farms to markets is excellent. Relevant infrastructure is necessary... That’s how you transform a “poor population” out of poverty. > |
