https://www.lashma.com/health-plan/ I look at the health plan. I see fraud!!! If you understand classification and coding of diseases, you would know that the package is joke. Patients cannot get much from the providers. Lagos health insurance fraud!!! Poverty mentality sees “fraud” everywhere... Winners mentality sees challenges and turn them into opportunities. seguno2: Bro, that is the result of too many illiterate Lagos agberos with access to the internet and nairaland Eriokanmi: Governor sanwoolu did nothing to make Evercare on Admiralty Way happen. The land wasn't donated by him, neither does the state have a share or stake in it. The facility is owned by a group of Nigerians but under the management of Tanit Group. The security there is being provided and operated by admiralty CDA, including the entrance gate into the area from the main lekki-ajah road. The governor was only invited there for commissioning Even if Sanwo-Olu only showed up to commission the hospital... That’s still him showing high-level state government support for significant foreign investment. Nonetheless, the Governor presumably had to issue a certificate of occupancy for the property, and I notice it was also designated as a hospital zone. It’s not just about money. Private investment needs the oxygen of governmental support and an enabling regulatory environment. > |

Chuxx84: Good evening nairalanders. Please I need advice/opinions on this issue at hand.
I have been taking care of my mother since before I got married, I have other brothers older and younger but they are not financially buoyant. (So they claimed) I did not mind this but kept on caring for her ( house rent, feeding, other bills).
Although it's a burden to me, but she is my mother. Now my wife suggest that any money I want to give to her should pass through her (I will send to my wife then she sends to my mother) or she does the sending and I later pay her back.
Her claim is my mother is fetish with my money. I'm confused can this be true? Sometimes my mother will make simple money request my wife would say I should ignore her. She says she is taking me for a fool. I am beginning to get tired of this whole thing. Please help with advice or opinions.
Thanks. NIGERIA, THE SUPERSTITIOUS ZOO! > |

Kinematics: Private hospitals spring up almist everyday in all states. One just opened close to my area here in PH just 2 weeks ago. You expect Wike to go and be commissioning/unveiling it? If every governor want to be doing this that mean they will be commissioning every month. Knowing Wike, he would probably fly in politicians and governors from across the West African sub-region to commission it... This is a substantial investment from a major foreign MULTINATIONAL investor... It is therefore not amiss for the state government to show its strong support for such investment. > |

Goodyness: It is a 100% private hospital with zero government money. The governor just had the honour of officially commissioning it. They have already started operations.
Lagos is trying to lead the way but this hospital was built with private money, equipped to global standards and staffed with the best. Hopefully, Nigerian factor will not set in soon. anthonyuncle: this is a private hospital naw,
why are they mentioning the state government like it is theirs. Eriokanmi: It's privately owned. Kinematics: To unveil private hospital? esthel: Hospital for the rich, beyond the means of the average lagosian. How people make huge profits from people's pain is still a mystery to me. capitalzero: 95% of civil servants would not able to afford it. It is a private hospital for rich people. POVERTY MENTALITY... The best way to fight poverty is to create JOBS, and not only will most of the JOBS created in that hospital not be filled by “rich” people (from gatemen to lab technicians, pharmacists, nurses, etc.), but even if only a small fraction of the estimated $1-2 billion that Nigerians spend on medical tourism each year (in foreign nations from South Africa and India to the West) is instead spent at this or similar hospitals in Nigerians, that’s tens of millions of US dollars that will be retained in the NIGERIAN ECONOMY and will thus create JOBS IN NIGERIA FOR NIGERIANS, generate wealth and tax revenues (income taxes from employed Nigerians and corporate taxes from the so-called “huge profits” of these private entities), which tax revenues would be (if not stolen by politicians) in public services including PUBLIC HOSPITALS and schools. Funny how many of you folks are struggling to emigrate to places like the US and the UK (where PRIVATE PROFIT is the centerpiece of national enterprise) rather than rushing off to communist countries like North Korea that abhor private capital and profits. Alexgman1: My so called fiancee is fond of giving out her number without stress or restrain to any man who ask from her. I noticed this anonying and dis-respectful habit since last year December.
Different people (male) will call her anytime and mostly late in the evening or midnight and she would still pick their calls in my presence, talk softly, smile and even laugh out loud at their jokes and sweet words.
She has given out her contact to guys on facebook, on the streets, in the vehicle, eatery, church, place of work, market, you name it and they disturb her every now and then because of her extreme fairness, beauty, elegance, prettiness and sexy shape. I have endured and tolerated so much for long and am loosing my patience and value for her. All that comes out of her is; "Am i jealous?"
Pls what should i do?
Warn her seriously?
Quit the relationship? Or
Continue to observe and keep quiet? You’re obviously not secure enough in this relationship to get married... > |

StacyO: Please read through.
I'm actually in my early twenties, not that I'm too old for marriage anyway. One of my top clients who I'm trying to polish out a business with, went ahead to arrange a mini impromptu by fire by force relationship for me and his brother.
Like bethrothing someone to someone else without their full consent.
It was a men's arrangement cause, I was surprised how they all came to that agreement.
I tried breaking up with him the first time and he told his brothers about it. Guilt almost finished me cause, I was blamed for the excuse I brought up. His uncle who is in charge of the contract brought us back together again.
The main issue now is that I want to break up with the guy once and for all but, I don't want to hurt him and I still have to save the contract at hand.
The guy is very much attached to me already and I won't fake it, I'm equally beginning to feel butterflies in my stomach.
I want to go about it in a very simple way. So that at the end, we all go our separate ways happy.
Any idea is highly welcomed. Serious and mature minds please.
Thank you.
Modified:: I told him my own part of the story and my reasons of not wanting to be in a relationship with him. I'm not ready for any relationship now and I dont like him. Most importantly, I dont want to chop his money while deceiving him.
He is still not accepting reality but, I'm sure with time, he'll move on.
PS: His uncle isn't aware of this yet and I begged him not to tell anyone. You don’t want to in a relationship but you’re dilly-dallying... You obviously have way TOO MUCH FREE TIME on your hands! SMH> |
