tillaman: Mahn, the whole world really got fvcked by this Covid-19, this is freaking serious imagine nations digging graves in advance getting ready to bury her citizens, Look at that coffin maker’s face, that look is priceless dude must have made a fortune by now the dude’s hand work later paid off!! konkonbilo: See the way other govt are open to the death or cases of COVID19 victims but ours here in Nigeria na only number dem just de give us like say na baba ijebu or 2 sure dem de play. The way there reported Abba kyari's and showed us pictures we want to see others too like that unless it is scam. Other countries are open to their citizens about the death, numbers of people that contracted the cases, very serious cases, tests and other statistics with evidence, but here the case is different. If you ask questions now people will tell you to go to yaba to go confirm and we're here in naija seeing how things are going in other countries with us going to their hospital or their country to confirm. Atleast Explorers have been giving us information and pictures of different cases in other countries back to back. This is what we Nigerians want to see unless there are hiding the truth from us. May God see us through Covid19 and our government.
The NCDC has published number of tests, positive cases, recoveries, and deaths... But frankly it is irrelevant, because those stuck on conspiracy theories will never believe them. SMH >

Why the ghoulish fascination with the names of the deceased? Private individuals deserve dignity and privacy even in death. RIP to all. >
guiddoti: Artificial intelligence coding and design is a most for all children, parents should allow their wards every opportunity to learn every aspects of computer, control and system
bluefilm: Those who are always blaming the government without doing much or contributing anything to make the country a better place are also part and parcel of this curse, I hope you know that?
Nonsense.
Well said! Nigeria’s condition is the culmination of the various actions (by commission or omission) of all Nigerians. >
Akunwafor: Wait first, is it oxygen masks these guys have been calling ventilators?
Doctors in the house am I missing something?
Khayceeofficial: Thought the ventilator used to be like connecting wires to the person's body
Odingo1: Audio ventilator with black empty box, na wires connected to empty box from stabilizer be their own ventilator.
Jokers
There are different types of ventilators, each helpful for different respiratory issues... These seem like noninvasive ventilators, which are different from the invasive types that are prevalent in ICUs. >
stagger: Nigeria desperately needs a STEM policy to replace the JETS competition and concept of those days when our 6-3-3-4 system under Babatunde Fafunwa was working. Then we need to push money into STEM research and turn ourselves into an industrial powerhouse and forget about China. We can do it but will these thieving politicians and contractors allow it?
Nigeria now has a STEAM policy (adding Arts for the creatives)... The problem has been adequately populating it through the schools. >
One baba near my house has been coughing for weeks now. I hear him through my window. Hack hack hack. He died this morning. I dey hear cries and wails. Two days ago I was sipping my 33 upstairs,i sight one of his sons wan go throway dirty. Him sef dey cough seriously. Him nickname na johnny Walker .Because he travels like a bird. See ehn I be person wey like to mind him business but bros these people dey fear me. The death confirm my suspicion say e fit be covid, but men I never snitch before for my life.. I for japa jejely but lock down dey. I dey look these numbers with double mind. I wan call But real men don't snitch.. I pray they do the right thing
Better call o... Or you might become a real dead man.
I don’t get this stigma that ONLY Nigerians attach to Covid... But if folks do not want to protect their families, others must act to protect the community. >
ekwuemendinso: Carry your wahala go abeg! I don't have strength. Glance effectively the first and second paragraph... Between, NMA said they don't need help! Who are u to judge otherwise? I ask, can't they stay in their country via video/Teleconference to exchange the stupid knowledge? The lie Minister said that's what they are using here in Nigeria. Abi network no dey China to connect Nigeria? The discharged patiences so far, Na Juju does doctors dey use.....
Shift abeg!
So the so-called "insinuation" is that they are sharing knowledge with government officials...
Meanwhile, the same Chinese have flown doctors to the UK, Italy, etc... Countries that have first class hospitals, top-notch teleconferencing facilities, much better bandwidth - and don't worry about "NEPA" blackouts! >
Cmanforall: One way or another, Nigerian resources will be involved. How will a private company fly foreign people in a country that says it has closed all its boarders without the resources of the country? It is left for you to determine which of the resources are involved.
If the doctors are on strike, does that rule out their decisions on issues pertaining health?
Do you know it is illegal to practice in any country without a recognizable medical license or approval by the appropriate medical body?
The NMA may be on strike, but was the governing body (Medical Council) also on strike?
And yet, we have FOREIGN medical missions with foreign doctors coming to Nigeria every year...hmmmm But of course when it is Oyinbo (as in Caucasian) doctors, colonalized Nigerians tend to be more amenable to Oyinbo "saviors"!
Dude, Chinese doctors have flown to the UK, Italy and several others places during this pandemic, without having to locally register first. SMH _____________________________________
PS: And no, your country's "resources" were not used because CCECC paid the entire cost incurred... Meanwhile, the point you misunderstand is the "will of the people" is NOT represented by those who abandon the people in their time of need! >
Gabbriell: Is the bolded text suppose be a sarcasm or what? . China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) don't have the right to import a 15-chinese based team into any country. They can only propose the idea to the country's authorities.. It is left for them to agree or disagree
Why not?
Of course they can invite anybody they want. And of course it's up Nigerian authorities to grant them visas - just like any other visitor! >
kikero: To share experiences with our Nigerian medics from the fight against covid 19 in China that would be useful for the fight against covid 19 in Nigeria.
Some years ago during the Ebola epidemic, some Ugandan doctors went to Liberia, where hundreds of people were dying from the disease. Uganda used to have high numbers dying from the disease 20 years ago, but their medics developed methods that helped them reduce the incidence...and they went to Liberia to share experiences.
China has just managed to reduce the incidence of covid19 in their country...and since it is where the problem started, their medics might have ideas on how to deal with it that might be useful.
(And no, they weren't brought to treat the late Kyari. Kyari would have died even if our health care was in tip top shape, or even if he was flown abroad.)
Nigeria even sent public health workers to other West African countries during the 2014 Ebola crisis... >
roGF22: Chinese Doctors,..to me, these people are no doctors, but military agents...deyll only keep helping to spread the virus in Nigeria so they can keep selling their stupid PPE and tesk kits to us
mtinfx: To treat the cabal member that just signed out I guess
gambia: Which quarantine, people that came to treat the late kyari and other top government officials.
Dosoq: They came for Abba Kari. Nigeria is a joke.
Hope his corpse will not be given a preferential treatment, cause it has to be buried same way other dead corona patients will be buried.
Kobicove: How can they still be in quarantine when they were brought here for the purpose of treating Abba Kyari
monaPhilz: So it's true they came for Abba Kyari. We the poor are living in God's grace, and that's effective enough. But this hardship hard.
BraveDeltan: Good excuse to send the Chinese Doctors back.. But we know it was for the sake of Alba Kyari they were brought in the first place. Now that his dead, they can go back.
Urchman200: What will now happen since the man they came to take care of is dead? If u know u know.
adebayo201: Wonderful question. When they know they can be telecommunicating, why the wastage on bringing them to the country?? The food, the health care not to mention the pay they will receive. This is wastage!!!
Chinese doctors have presently traveled to the UK, Italy, and several other countries to share their knowledge (see videos below)... These nations have much better healthcare systems than us, devised telecommuting, have better bandwidth, faster speed and reliable electricity.
Furthermore, we are NOT paying their wages or feed, so abegi relax (since everything for Nigerians seems to be about money) - CCECC is. Meanwhile, if they’re here to treat Abba Kyari, they would not only be in Lagos instead of Abuja, but they would not have brought 50 ventilators.
generalissimo: To loot money of course! They are claiming to have spent $2 million bringing them in.
FAKE NEWS!
How can the FG government claim “to have spent $2 million bringing them in” when the government has asserted on MANY occasions that they were brought in by CCECC as part of its CSR towards fighting Covid-19 in Nigeria? >
ekwuemendinso: This country has an inepts way of amazing people! First, they said the Chinese were not brought by the Federal govt but a company; a Chinese company. How? Stupid lie.
Secondly and today, they are now brought by the Federal govt as insinuated by the Hon. Minister; now the question is: why are they really here? Which other yeye knowledge are they sharing that our Doctors don't know? Or are our Doctors using Juju to discharge covid19 patients so far?
Those nigas couldn't save Mr Kyari
Abegi, where did the Minister “insinuate” they were brought in by the FG?
If Nigerian doctors possess all possible knowledge, why do they keep traveling for further studies and training? Meanwhile, Chinese doctors are presently in the UK, Italy, France and so many other countries with much better health systems. >
