So how can you say he was not in the team in 2012? That's obviously crap.
This is what I wrote and it's 100% correct, while you are wrong
Let's see the magic that you want to conjure, event though you know that you are wrong. I wish the Golden Eaglets well in their next outing... Obviously I cannot vouch for anyone else’s age… But then again probably neither could anyone of us here on Nairaland.
Nevertheless, we had someone born in the US (so we know his birth certificate is legit) in the Eaglets 2017 (or 2019) camp who failed the MRI test, which should really not be surprising because MRI testing is NOT an age test, but rather essentially a bone-fusion test (based on the presumption that wrist bones fused at about 18 years old - a scientifically dodgy thesis given that human development is not identical, sometimes not even among siblings).Accordingly, given the unreliability of documentation in large swathes of the Third World (as it’s not just an issue in Nigeria/Africa, but in many parts of Asia, the Middle East, Latin and South America), the seeming compromise effectively reached by FIFA is to consider any genuine U17 players who fail MRI testing as outliers, and thus settle for a rule that only accommodates the presumptive ‘normal’. Of course, there are those who argue that the rule is discriminatory given the general differences in physical characteristics (and therefore development) among races.
PS: Btw, Ndidi was in the 2013 U17 (with Iheanacho, etc.), not 2012.> |

Dearlove2me: The truth is right now, I feel like going somewhere for a while. I feel like I need rest. Somewhere I can forget about all my problems and breathe a fresh air. My husband has not been honest with me since the beginning of this marriage and I doubt if this is an attitude of a man that loves
He has always been in debt even before I married him. and he wouldn't let me know what he do with the money he keeps borrowing from people. Even my friends I introduced to him, he is owning them and can't pay back.
The bad side is, he borrows and stop picking their calls not respond nicely to them. He behalves badly to them. I'm suspecting he's into some kind of addiction that demands money. Maybe gambling but he wouldn't tell me. He's constantly on his phone.
He is owning loan app everywhere. To the extent that the app had to send hurrible messages to his contact's lists including his bosses, office colleagues and my relatives. It's so embarrassing and tiring. He has apologized several times that I should give him time to work on himself to stop an addiction, but he refused to explain what it is. Claiming that I might leave him if I know. But he has not changed abit. We are always hungry in this house. No baby food for my 6months old baby, no pampers and everything is total struggle. I quit my job last year but I'll soon start job search once my baby grow a little. In this house, If I don't look for food, then, we starve, I don't look for means of getting pampers, food, wears, then my baby will suffer, because his daddy is not capable of providing anything for us. It's so annoying.
I have dreams before I married him, but right now, I feel lost. There's no romance, no love, no affection in this marriage anymore, as I wouldn't even let him touch me because of the stress, suffer he constantly brings on us.
Money I raised to start up a business, (340k) I ended up using it to pay for his debt last two months because the people were always coming to embarrass us in the house and neighbors were coming to pleade on our behalf. I had to clear up the loan, yet he couldn't explain what he did with the money. With that start up capital, I would have been growing by now, but here I am. Still at the zero point.
I'm really tired I'm so confused here. What should I do? What would you advise? LEAVE HIM!! Sadly, this is often the result of a culture that makes it appear that the greatest female “accomplishment” is marriage!> |

Are you laboring under a basic comprehension deficit, because wtf had that to do with what I wrote? Meanwhile, Gbadebo was born in Lagos Island to a native Lagosian, went primary and secondary school in Lagos at Chrisland, did his youth service in Lagos, and has since then lived, worked, ran a business, employed people, and paid his taxes in Lagos - your position that because his mother is Ibo that he is somehow inherently unqualified to be Lagos governor is CRUDE PRIMITIVE TRIBALISM! Cuz both men practically made sure they focused on their fellow Hausas first when it comes to employment and such. But come Alausa here and see things for urself.. and make I pray say Ogun no go kill whoever says Igbos are getting appointments in Sw civil services simply Becos they are ‘competent’.. cuz THAT would NOT be true!. We have countless and equally or even much more competent Yorubas who can fill these positions but nope,,, na them de waka for streets these days with nothing to do, while the Yeye Govt keeps bringing foreigners and aliens to be occupying all vital offices in its civil service. Yorubas brought whatever is going on today on themselves: simple as that.. if they had deployed the northern tactics Ahmadu Bello, Balewa and co used back then, I swear to who created me, the only Igbos that would be in Lagos today and be prospering would be the iPhone cord and charger sellers.. radarada set of people. You no want make dem tell u say here Nobi your land, but you de act exactly in the manner that requires you being told point blank what you are and what your history is and how much you need to go back to ur precious region and ‘develop’ it instead. And exactly how has that worked out for the North? A region blessed with an abundance of arable land and mineral resources, but depends on FAAC allocation for basics. SMH > |

Nayturalistic: Very scary set of people. Little wonder Ahmadu Bello said they (the northerners) are not and will never be ‘alive to their (the ingbos) responsibilities’.. the whole world knows the Ingbos are the ones who would get to a place or a land and within a year try to take over that land.. or they get to a workplace and within months start scheming and plotting (at the detriment of their colleagues) to get to the very top, with their dubious, cunning and mischievous attitudes.. the day Lagos civil service as a case study, starts employing STRICTLY Yorubas to all the vital positions in government, then that’s when the Yorubas can truly and truly say that they own their lands again. Yet YOU’re likely among those practically ejaculating when, eg, Biden appoints a Yoruba person to his cabinet… And probably will be celebrating those Yoruba folks who are “doing well” in other peoples own “land” across the globe. After all, the world’s greatest nation (where many Yoruba seek economic refuge btw) was founded on the philosophy of “NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION”! In fact, while at it, feel free to proceed to repay those of us in the Niger Delta, who have suffered environmental and economic genocide for the oil & gas revenues that were primarily used to fund such catalyst infrastructure in Lagos as the Third Mainland Bridge, Eko Bridge, Tin Can Island Port, Festac Town, Egbin Power Station, Badagry Expressway, Apapa-Oworonsoki Expressway, Murtala Muhammed International Airport, National Theatre, National Stadium, etc. Take other regions’ wealth but not their people?! Just like everyone, OBA is entitled to his opinion under the Nigerian constitution.
When certain Igbos claim Lagos is no man's land, you don't necessarily need a dictionary to interpret that.
When GRV says he doesn't think in Yoruba, you didn't press him to explain further!
When Namdi Kanu's boys said a Yoruba pastor should not hold a crusade In Aba, you didn't ask to know where such exist in the Nigerian constitution.
But when Oba gives his opinion, you start looking for constitution.

So that when yorubas see what he has done in turning anambra and continuing the legacy of obi.. Lagos can now vote him in after Sanwolu... I think is a good idea.. Don't you think.. Let Eluupee people push this my idea.. Or let Our celebrities contribute and buy the LP governorship form for Anambra for him.. Someone must show others how it is done. You don't just shout tribalism is bad.. Act to show it.. Let Gbadebo who is competent, obi agrees too that he is competent.. Let him rule anambra.. This my address is by no means political. The IRONY in the highlighted statement is simply jaw-dropping! The fact is that the principal reason folks are against his dad is precisely because his dad (and his touts or thugs influenced by him and/or his rhetorics) REFUSES “to allow people to air their political believes (sic) without trying to attack them” - by attacking opposition party members for holding meetings or rallies and even for just carrying flags, threatening non-indigenes and/or warning people to vote for only a particular political party or face consequences, as well as actually attacking on Election Day (some reportedly merely for looking like non-indigenes or non-Yoruba) and snatching ballot boxes! Democracy is NOT for some people, but not for others. Frankly, the capacity of some Nigerians to spray potpourri over stench epitomizes the lack of a moral compass among so many Nigerians, and why the saying that people DESERVE their leaders has been sufficiently and repeatedly validated in Nigeria over time.
