The gap between population of Gambia and Japan is huge. Gambia's population is below 3 million, while Japan is doing over 126 million. However, it's true that development can't be solely hinged on population alone.

Lols, religious people are funny. When my old moniker was still active, a number nairalanders thought we were the same person.

And I refuted such claim any time I saw it.

That wasn't even surprising coming such people online, who are total strangers.

What was surprising was that some family members I shared your book with in 2018 thought I was the author, despite sharing your genealogy with them.

I don't know why they would think I could have such deep knowledge to author such a book.

Maybe they don't know that the scientific ideas in that book are way too advanced for someone like me to know.

If I had read your book as a religious person, I would have thought you were a spirit or a supernatural being because the contents of that are not what a mere mortal can just form from the head.

Something about the spiritual realm is that things go on forever without control, bounds etc. Spirits don't grow, nothing like getting promotion, etc. This is the reason why trillions of eggs and sperms are waiting to obtain flesh and live lives where they can learn, unlearn, grow, develop, fear, be surprised and do all these things done with the flesh which are absent with the spirits. Yes, the spiritual realm is like the dreamlike state. Once we die, we continue to live in that dreamlike state, except we get bored and want to live on earth or in an earthlike planet again. But it can take millions of years to make it back to an earthlike planet successfully again because of gazillions of sperms/eggs trying to get entry into the same physical earthlike planets and obtain flesh.

Yes, there are rules in the spiritual realms, but the rules are always broken. SPIRITUAL BEINGS LOVE TO BREAK RULES AND NOBODY CAN BE HELD RESPONSIBLE. That's why on earth also, as soon as someone discovers himself as actually a spirit being residing in a physical body, such one will break rules on earth without being scared of death. Some will break the rule to such an extent that they will create terror upon the earth and damn the consequence. While some will only break the rules to bring about something positive on earth. I have broken a lot of rules too, but all the rules I broke are RELIGIOUS RULES and SUPERSTITIOUS RULES put down by all past religious founders in a bid yo make the truth of the multiverse known.
Looks chaotic. How do you make sense of things in such a realm if it actually exists?

And how are you so sure you're not imagining things you see there?

In other words, how do you verify the things you see and the entities you interact with are not made with your imagination or thoughts?

Is it possible for two or more people to meet up in a spiritual realm (i.e can objectivity be attained in such a realm where both will see the same things independent of the observer)?

If that's possible, how can it be achieved?

For instance, if I want to convince a skeptic that the spiritual realm exists, is it possible to invite them to such a realm?

Thanks for sharing.

Mercury is still the closest planet to the Sun, but from that discovery, it's not the closest celestial object or world to the star, unlike it was previously observed/thought.

That's the beauty of science — no dogma.

If you're familiar with how science works, such a discovery won't really be surprising.

There was a time the atom was thought of as the fundamental (irreducible) particle of matter; today, numerous atoms have been smashed and found to be made of even much smaller particles, quarks and leptons.

To the best of (current) scientific knowledge, these are the elementary particles of matter. But in science, there's no absolute knowledge, and it won't be surprising to find particles even smaller than those fermions (quarks and leptons).

However, it's extremely difficult to use particle accelerators for smashing quarks and leptons because that will require very high energies, which the currently available accelerators can't deliver.

That's one reason why top governments are investing billions of dollars in building powerful telescopes and funding astrophysical researches.

This is because it's only astrophysical phenomena (such as the collision of black holes, explosion/death of a giant star) that can produce the needed enormous energies to detect new elementary particles smaller than quarks and leptons, if they exist, and resolve the limitations of the Standard Model.

The utimate aim is to unify all the four fundamental forces of nature and develop a theory of everything (Grand Unification).

Science is dynamic and self-correcting.

Lols, yet every year, more religious people in Nigeria experience sadness and depression than irreligious ones.

Visit a nearby general hospital and teaching hospital, especially the emergency section, and see patients (and their relatives) in a state of depression as they battle to save their life.

The majority of these people are either Christians or Muslims.

That's when you realize how useless your god, Yahweh, or the fictitious Jesus, is.

Visit prisons and see religious people who experience depression.

This post of yours is ill-informed. Depression affects everyone, irrespective of religious beliefs.

However, having beliefs in imaginary things and praying can help religious people cope with depression.

Freethinkers use other coping strategies which are also effective, especially by following the recommendations of psychologists and psychiatrists for tackling the issue.

I take the good side of the principle of Darwinism to look at life and handle situations. I learn to adapt to whatever environment I find myself knowing fully well that if I don’t, I will die.
I take a cue form nature, whether or not I like it, nature does it’s thing and because I am a cautious being I have the ability to cheat nature a bit in my favour and then I go for it. I don’t ascribe my hard times to a spiritual being.

3. Threat of curse
4. Scams from pastors.

I also see clearer from a practical point of view without bias. I am free from cognitive dissonance. I laugh when people talk about spiritual things as there are no evidence to measure their existence.

Atheism makes you a mentally free person, not a lot of people have the courage to become atheist.

There are other huge benefits
How do you handle depression as an atheist, especially during the times of illness/sickness, financial struggle, and when living alone at such times?

The decision to grant amnesty/clemency is a political which those in the military may/not agree with but military operation doesn't always work in counterinsurgency sometimes you adopt the carrot approach thinking long-term. This in itself has downsides which can lead to what psychologists call "cobra effect'' whereby people will engage in criminal activities knowing that they will get rewarded if they are fortunate enough to submit themselves to the authority before they're killed. Below is a book on deradicalization it discusses the practice as a counterinsurgency tool.
Agreed.
Amoto94:
The origin of Arabs is Yemen (Southern Arabia) then they spread upwards to the Northern Arabia to establish civilizations like that of Thamud and Sinai in modern day Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
It's good you said "the origin of Arab", not the origin of the Arab World. In the comment you quoted, I specifically said the origin of the Arab World.

Before Muhammed, Arabs were existing as various tribes in different places in modern-day Yemen, Makkah, and their environs.

It was Muhammad that unified all these disparate tribes as one using the religion of Islam; that was the beginning of the Arab World in Saudi Arabia.

From Saudi, the religion spread to other parts of Asia, Europe, and Africa via wars, invasion, trading, and slave-trading, establishing the Islamic world.

I never told you that Muhammad founded Arab as a race.
Amoto94:
So saying that the Arab world started from Saudi Arabia is factually and historically incorrect, in order to impress your audience you intentionally/unintentionally lie in your account of history just like last year during the pandemic when you said something regarding Yahweh linking it to Yorubas.
You're merely reacting emotionally to my posts. What I said is true.

And I don't know where I told you Yahweh did anything in Yorubaland. That must have been a product of your imagination.
Amoto94:
I see no difference between you and the extremists who take things out of context to justify their crimes because you're doing exactly the same by accusing the messenger of Allah of what he didn't do and intend.
As for the Taliban blame America for their rise and fall. The scholars who are upon sound creed have warned against them before you become a kindergartner.
Again, you're reacting emotionally to these hard facts about Islam. I don't promote extreme views and have never done so as an irreligious person.

If you think otherwise, you'll have to back your assertion with proofs.

I remember I was also in your shoes some years ago.

So, I understand how you feel. If you can look at your religion objectively (though that's quite hard), you'll arrive at the same conclusions I made.
