Hello people of Nairaland, I am at the point of my life where I want to stop pleasing people regardless.

I find it difficult to say no especially to family and close friends and this has affected me badly in all ramifications especially in financial terms.
Please how do I say No and stand my ground without feeling bad or even care how they feel after I say no

Limit your interaction with perceived predators (family and friends inclusive).

Question everyone motive. A simple "what's your motive?" is enough to see through people intention.

If they had succeeded in cancelling the tournament, this would have sent a message to the rest of the world that AFRICA is weak and submissive to the ruling of the white men.

Would European world cup be cancelled for similar reason? — heck, they even deliberating on scheduling the world cup for every 2 years. And our beloved Africa nations cup can't be played because of some silly foreign clubs selfish interest.

It's a faceless forum so no need for lies. I have just been reading people's experiences and i just couldn't help it. People have gone through alot in this wicked world oo. Hmmm me ehn. I don't just know the kind of heart God gave me, i can't see someone in pain or need and not help them even when me self I'm in need oo. I can forgo my own need and help someone who is in need before thinking of how my own need will be met. I have done that countless times and now when i make a call to people for one help or the other, everybody disappears. I hardly get help from people. Ha! It can be very painful oo. Chelsea performance this first half is a eyesore. A very poor performance.

Complete absence of the midfield — How can a coach entrust the creative role in the midfield to a defender (Reece James) — and also to a player who plays long like Ross Barkley?

Our defense is shi t show of amateur football, but it what happens when a midfield cannot dictate the play upfront.

This first half is the poorest display from Chelsea this season.

I know we are hit with injuries but Tuchel had better find a working solution in that midfield and play 2 men strikers 3-5-2 (Timo and Lukaku), then instruct the midfielders to move the ball deep before build up for a goal just like how Rudiger does.

Well, I think these are the top reasons:

I've been a nairalander since 2016 but this is my first official post.

My father is a good, noble and humble man. A successful business man. He's very proud of us (his children), we're also proud of him. We're 3. I'm 29 years of age, the eldest and only son. He make sure we don't lack anything. We all went to one of the prestigious Private University in Nigeria. I and my immediate baby sis are graduate, while last born still in 300l.

The problem is that, my father don't know how to dress, he prefer to wear faded and worn out clothes. My dad drive highlander 2014 model. If my Dad comes down from his car, you will think he's a driver to an imaginary Boss because of the way he dressed.
Blessed memories of my beloved mom May her soul R.I.P. She was always complaining and sometimes my Dad won't listen to her.

I'm a good fashion designer, my love for fashion is topnotch. I also own a laundry store and a barbing store. I've been privileged to sew some clothes for comedian Buchi which he loves so much and he promised to patronize me again.

GOD in heaven knows how many lovely, mature and soft dress I've sew and bought for my father with my money. He only wears it once and won't wear it again, there are some he haven't put on at all. I'm going to keep this brief.

It started three weeks ago. my mum, who was walking normal with no problem suddenly could not walk. Her left leg began paining her severely that day. My mum was all in tears... She was rushed to the hospital where it was discovered that her sugar level was on the high side. The hospital gave drugs which stabilised it, at that point my mum was very weak, couldn't eat, each time she eat she throws up and also had some pain in the leg still. After a week in the hospital, we were then referred to a teaching hospital after a test showed that creatinine in her kidney was high.

The teaching hospital tried their best and I can say my mum is now okay. Except for the left leg. She can't still walk on it, the leg feels cold to touch with a little discolouration above the foot.

Doppler test showed that blood isn't really flowing through the leg. And they said they will need to amputate the leg to prevent the infection from growing to the other parts of the body.

Please I want to know if you know anyone who had similar condition and amputation was recommended but was later healed without need for amputation.

Please share your recommendations. I need my mum now more than before in my life. We are confused on whether to allow them to go on with the amputation or seek other alternatives.

Pls note that as at now, her sugar level, creatinine and other things are normal.

STOP the Doctors from performing that operation.

Get Astragulus to reverse your mom's kidney failure and when it's reversed, Get her on a low sugar diet and intermittent fasting.

I promise she will live very long and healthier.


And just so you know high Creatinine is a sign of failing kidney. The damage needs to be reversed ASAP.

First Half Analysis
