@Rasque I was at that game and for 40 minutes we played so well, But my best will have to be Nigeria V Morocco. Can’t remember the year (Between 85-88), The eagles needed just a draw and they had Patrick Okala in goal. During the interval he was searched for Juju @kola – my fellow ‘old schooler’ – do you remember the game? |
I wouldn’t bother with Spurs, every summer they are usually liked with every player on the planet. |
Its all over |
For me it doesnt matter how we play, as long as we win. I wouldn't even mind if we play the way we did against Utd during last years FA Cup. I just want a win. My Idea score : 4-4 after extra time, Arsenal to win 14-13 (penalty kicks) |

I still receive AIT here via BEN TV. It wouldn’t astonish if their licence was in fact revoked and someone saw some sense and decided not to see the whole thing thru. |
What the critics say: http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1808744403/critic US Box Office http://movies.yahoo.com/mv/boxoffice/ I think the film was OK, |
Yes you should hear him speak. The poor fella cannot speak correct and complete english. He has to punctuate it with broken or outrightly fire us slavos (if you know what i mean).I dont think he is the only one sailing in that boat, |
Man (Nwoke), You are not saying that the reason why most of the top posters in your forum are Yoruba is because you are Yoruba! Surely, that can’t be the motivation. If it is, I can tell you this for no cost, Igbos wouldn’t come rushing to this forum on the solitary basis that they think the forum owner is Igbo. |
@kola, Bros, respect to you 2 , & Thanks. I |
toshmann - well said |
This thread kinda cooled off a bit. Well for the funk lovers here. I have a new blog called Funking in the 80s. Its just about me and my top funk bands. It wil also have videos too, The blog address is http://80sfunk..com |
@Kola Bros, I hope the 40k you promised is still intact, |
On a more serious note, I see no reason why he shouldn’t be given a chance. The ‘cowboys’ that have come before him have not exactly been any better. However, I will for my part take Kalu serious when he sorts put the waste management problem in his state. |
Too late in my opinion. That man has undermined every manager since Keegan left the place. His spat with Gullit was unpleasant. He has always looked after number one (himself). For me, he was a very good goal scorer, but not a great player. Now that he has left the toon, other players will blossom, and maybe Newcastle will fulfil their ambitions (win something). |
Reason for the name change: I don't want people to think they know "Seun" just because they read his posts online. I chose an Igbo name so more Igbos will be encouraged to register. I briefly considered using a Hausa name, but I don't want people to think I'm a muslim when I know nothing about Islam.Doesn't make sense to me, Why do you want to encourage Igbos to register? Dude, I think there is more to this. Please stick with Seun |
Who told you Baba doesn't have "pali"? ![]() Someone is having a laugh!!!! |
I dont think its just about bashing. People are just expressing the way they feel. The man has his good and bad attributes. You just wonder which one stands out most. |
Does it matter if she hasnt? |
Sir Kay, It will be tough, but I think we will sneak thru, Cos they will have to come out and play, |
What I felt was important is that we didn't concede a goal, We will still go thru, |
Rode our luck with the Penalty shout. Looked a stone cold pen to me, Waiting for Sky to show more angles, Another goal for the gunners will be just fine, |
The last time you tried it, you couldn't even feed yourselves and millions died of hunger. Ok, so Biafrans did not starve to death. I stand corrected. They must have died of boredom.Another topic on Biafra, another set of dippy comments from Nwoke (formerly known as Seun). You sometimes cant help yourself can you? |
Of course they can hit 100 points, and it will be an impressive feat. Good luck to them, |
Seun/Nwoke or whatever you go by, You have brought out the worst and best in kola, Guys, cool, mellow. Its the 21st century, Live and let others live, |
funloving - You must be mixing with the wrong crowd, There are so many successful Nigerians in the UK - and I mean those that make ends meet and more. The percentage may not be great, but it is very respectable. My place of work (which is the 4th largest IT company in the world), is filled with high flying Nigerian professionals, |
Bagoma, I remember Basi & Co. The one thing I find really satisfying about Nigerian comedians is that fact that they are mostly original. None of the fake ‘yankee’ accents that some of the so-called Nigeria Hip-Hop stars (and some movies ‘stars’) so poorly carry with them. Just makes me cringe. I find the few comedy shows that I have seen so refreshing and as good as anything out there. |
