vani86:Look again, does this look like a big for nothing? Lexus ES300 is rebadged big for nothing, but Lexus LS is a different ball game. That is a car that will give a Mercedes Benz s class a run for its money, how dare u compare if with a honda accord? Below is a 2004 Lexus LS430. Show me how a 2008 accord looks better.
|
johnny1980:I have seen many containers traveling our roads without being latched to the truck. Many of them. |
nurey:A 2004 Lexus Ls430 is still ahead of a 2008 honda accord. From the interior finish to entertainment system to safety features to comfort and luxury, the Lexus is far ahead. We are talking full size luxury against a mid size non luxury. U want compare the leather seats in a Lexus to that of an accord v6? Th difference is very clear. Ok the accord is better in one area... Fuel economy lol. I don't expect anyone that drives a Lexus LS 430 to care about fuel economy. |
nurey:Umm, I think u are mistaken. Honda evil spirit is no match for Lexus LS, they are far far apart. LEXUS ES is a rebadged camry so that I will agree. Lexus IS is a baby Lexus. But I still think Lexus GS of the same year edges the evil spirit especially because it is RWD. |
kingreign:Taa, yes its a Lexus but actually big for nothing xle v6. 2008 accord ex-l v6 kicks its ass real hard. The accord is faster and more comfortable and more powerful. If it were Lexus GS300 I would succumb as it is equipped with RWD. |
vani86:Right. I was just making an illustration. |
vani86:Actually it depends on the cars. A 2003 Mercedes Benz E320 is still ahead of a 2008 Honda accord. Both are not in the same class though. |
mayorjosh:That is ur own fault for buying 'para' gearbox. There are no china gearbox, either u buy tokunbo or buy one that has been worked on. It all depends on where u buy. And u need luck too because they won't give u more than 1 week warranty on a used gearbox. |
melvo001:If u like Toyota big for nothing then buy the es300 which is Toyota big for nothing xle v6 with slightly better interior. |
vani86:Op said Lexus es300 not rx300 |
mayorjosh:What are u talking about bro? Check the 2 pictures below and tell us the road the Lexus ES300 would go through that a 2008 Honda accord can't go through. And talking about fuel economy, how on earth can a 3.0L v6 be more fuel efficient than a 2.4L I4 when both cars are family sedan? I like the Lexus no doubt, but it is older and if the naija used 2008 accord is clean without abuse I would pick it over a 2004 Lexus es300. Mind u, the Lexus es300 is Toyota big for nothing with a Lexus badge and slightly better interior. Oh before I forget, I never knew they have started making fake transmissions for Honda or what do u mean when u said it would be hard to find original gearbox?

I can imagine all the Xmas lights that will illuminate on the dash. Also not sure if security features like airbag and abs would work with this conversion. |
airsaylongcon:Bros, I don't understand oo. Do u mean Toyota tundra is more economical than a golf and that golf is a better work horse than Toyota tundra? Pls enlighten us. |
ganagagi:Wait a minute, do u mean Toyota Landcruser vs vw golf? |
adesegun121:That is not an intelligent comment, but u have just spoken like a typical ![]() ? . it is not only dangote that owns heavy duty trucks in Nigeria. |
chucky234:U just confirmed my point. |
Readonee35L:I also like the g wagon. Beauty is subjective, what is beautiful to me might look ugly to u. But let's look at it this way, if the g wagon was made by let's say Toyota (remove only the logo and put Toyota logo there with the same price), then half the people that think its beautiful will call it ugly. FACT. |
FestacGirl:G wagon has never been pretty, its just unique and that's it. It is what it is, and I think the owner just wanted it to be MORE unique. |
klem93:It's not everywhere u see a Ferrari dude. Even in advanced countries, people still stare and take pictures when they see supercars on the streets. |
romityl:Ummm, I can't read a meaning to what u wrote, does that mean I'm an illiterate? Oh and I also use a touchscreen phone. The moral is this, u don't expect people that want to help to add more pressure to their brain trying to decipher ur choice of abbreviations. |
chukwudi44:Oga, its not too late to join the army. BH are stronger than most people think. You think it's easy fighting someone who is willing to kil himself just so he can go and get 7 virgins in heaven all in the name of jihad? Fighting someone who doesn't have anyone that will mourn him when he dies. Most of these soldiers have families and loved ones waiting for them at home. The same cannot be said about BH soldiers. It is not so easy to kill them without collateral damage. How do u recognize them among other citizens? How do u know someone has a bomb strapped to his chest in a crowded market? |
Bravolad has said it all. The Honda was abused before u bought it, that is not Honda's fault. Any car will give problems when seriously abused. I entered a friend's 2003 Honda accord v6 today and i was surprised. The guy was actually bragging that his car is in top notch condition because it was steaming white smoke while idling in the the rain. I was actually joking that we should exchange cars for a week (I drive an 05 accord I4). on entering the car I was so disappointed. Check engine light, abs, TCP, SRS, TPMS, maintenance required light, all where right there illuminated on the instrument cluster. I opened the hood found out the air fuel sensor has been disconnected , thermostat removed, and fans are working directly. Now this car consumes a lot of fuel, but the owner doesn't care anyway. But tomorrow if he buys a Camry that hasn't been abused, then he will come back and say Honda consume too much fuek based on his experience with his own Honda. |
espn:On the contrary network in naija ain't that bad as some people believe. I have been using debit card to pay for my shopping in naija and 95% of the times it works. |
softapples:Abeg forgeti. School for the gifted ko. Can't u see the list of cars they recovered? Some old cars and buses without any form of security. Any mechanic would start those cars without the keys. Let him come and steal even a 2000 model Peugeot 406 or BMW with his wire let me see. This one is a Petty thief, not gifted. I didn't see any high tech cars in the stolen cars. |
DECOtech:Lol, bros na wa for u oh. Sleep u no gree sleep. Shey u no know say na op be that. |

redcliff:still don't understand why authorities still allow this thing to be driven on the road. Some people will say innovation but I call this madness. Seriously he would have built a keke instead of trying to combine a car with a jet or is it a submarine. Even the professional world biggest automakers know it is not a practical thing to build hence why we haven't seen them put it on the road even if they already have prototypes. There is more to building automobiles than most people here think. It is not just building something that moves from point A to point B. The most important thing is safety of the driver and safety of other road users. There is what is called quality control and an automobile is tested for years for its safety and road worthiness before it is allowed to be driven in public. This is not child's play, is it until this thing cause a fatal accident before the authorities will do the right thing. Yes it's innovation but a silly one if u ask me and it is not road worthy. |

sultaan:Oga forget, u are saying what u like, not what is practical. Lincoln mkx for naija lol. That is why nobody replied u because u must be a big joker to advice someone to buy that in naija unless u are some politician that have money to burn. It's not as if it is more expensive than a Lexus RX or Infiniti fx but its not not practical to use on this part of the world. Now back to Ford edge. Even the limited is still no match for fx35. U realize the last fx35 was made in 2010 right so don't put a 2015 Ford edge against it. The fx is more responsive, faster, more aggressive, handles better, has better gadgets and made of more premium material than the Ford edge. The only place the Ford edge triumphs is that it has a little better fuek economy and quieter cabin. On top of all that, parts are still expensive and scarce and fx is even more reliable. |
sultaan:Ford edge against fx35 sha. U are joking right. |
