For gaming, ps4 has the better experience. Some games run at 1080p at 60fps. It is incredible to watch on a gungantic TV. I have played multiplatform games on both and I think it looks slightly better on the ps4. Also the ps4 controller is the real deal, personal preference though. And I love ps4 exclusives like the last of us and uncharted.

For general entertainment, the Xbox one rules as it can connect all ur entertainment consoles and control everything with just one remote. Also kinect rocks.

Since u already have a ps4, just get the Nintendo Wii. I see no point having a ps4 and an Xbox one.

Easy bro. Lexus NX is baby Lexus na, a fully loaded g wagon will buy 5 Lexus NX200T. It is pointless comparing it with a g wagon. Lexus NX was built to compete with Audi q5, BMW x3 and Mercedes Benz GLA class.

And saying it copied murano and infinity fx is a fallacy. It borrows it shape from Lexus RX which has been in production before the murano or Infiniti fx was born.

I have used a 1998 Volkswagen Passat 1.8T and 1998 Camry tiny light. The Passat is years ahead of the Camry in terms of technology. The Passat had 4 airbags against the Camry's 2. The Passat handles far better than the Camry and it is an all round better car than the Camry except for cost of maintenance and ease of repairs. I currently have a 2005 Volkswagen New Jetta 2.5 package 2 and I do have friends with Camry, one of them with a 2011 Camry XLE with rev cam and navigation, thumb start and exquisite leather and wood grain interior. Even though the Jetta is a smaller car with less space especially for the rear seat passengers, it handles excellently well and has features that are not in the 2011 Camry that my friend has. The jetta is far more fuel efficient and delivers great performance with a six (6) speed automatic transmission. It's interior is leather with wood grain. The Jetta has 10 airbags which you may not find in a 2005 Camry XLE. The Jetta has premium sound, better than that of the Camry my friend has. Just like the 1998 Passat I had, the Jetta is more expensive to maintain than the Camry. Volkswagen cars generally have better safety features and are years ahead of their Toyota counterparts in terms of technology. Toyota cars look good and are far less expensive to maintain, with capable hands everywhere.
If you love performance and do not mind cost of maintenance I reccommend the Volkswagen Jetta or Passat or otherwise the Toyotas.

I like Mercedes Benz. I like good things, in fact my most favorite full size sedan is the Mercedes Benz S class. But I just can't get myself to like the g wagon simply because it is a Mercedes. I will choose Mercedes Benz GL class over a g wagon. In fact I'll choose Audi Q7, Lexus LX570 and even Lexus RX400 and of course range rover sport over a g wagon. I know a lot of folks that bought a g wagon not because they really like it but because its an expensive Mercedes.

Yes I am, and u are entitled to urs too. The g wagon is a very powerful and well equipped BEAST, admist an UGLY and OVERPRICED one. If I'm torn between the g wagon and range rover sport SVR, I'll choose the RR sport and keep some change. It is more beautiful, quieter, faster and equally a good offroader.

Go for the Benz, its a lot better and good fuel economy. The acceleration might not be as fast as the camry but it is an all round better car.

But hope u are not the type that will say 'I should have bought the camry ' when the Benz needs some replacement parts since the camry is already ur first choice.

it's unfortunate that Nigeria has gotten to the point where tragic occurrences become normal.

in asaba delta state where I reside, along the asaba - onitsha express way, trucks and tankers tumble daily due to the bad road. And it's just the norm.

I drove through that road to and fro last week on my way to owerri from Lagos. There is nothing wrong with that road. Not the smoothest roads yes but it is not very bad either. On my way back on Saturday a container fell on the road and we had to follow one way. We should stop blaming bad roads for every accident, most of these truck drivers are not in the right state of mind. Most of the trucks are in terrible shape yet these trucks go on top speed on the highway. I could remember a day I was driving at 110km/hr and a truck carrying a container overtook me. U can imagine what speed he was going at with all that weight and what damage could be done if he loses control or hits a pothole.

I think authorities should make provision of a phone number to call when we see a truck that is not road worthy or those that drive dangerously. And they should enforce dealing with such trucks. Also no container should leave the port without proper testing to make sure the truck is road worthy. And all containers should be latched to the truck. Jeez everyday I see trucks carrying containers without latching on the truck. This is dangerous.

Look at the truck below, the back tires are completely off and yet it is driven in Lagos. If anything happens now people will blame bad roads.

Can't u see the container was not latched? That is absurd. I also take pictures of strange things I see on the road is strange that a truck carrying an unlatched container is allowed to leave the port, and then climb a bridge. It's a disaster waiting to happen.

U mean Honda front wheel problem? Mostly caused by negligence and substandard CV joints. I always have one advice for Honda owners, never buy a fake or substandard CV joints. U can buy substandard every other part but when it comes to the entire drive shaft, never joke with it. I changed my CV joints in may 2014 and up till today I'm still driving it without problems. Just last week I put another 1,700km on the car, traveled from Lagos to owerri, spent a few days, car still going strong. If u can't get OEM CV joints and have to settle for aftermarket, then endeavor to change them at least be very 5-6 months. Also this thing gives signs before it pulls off, most people just ignore the sign and keep droving until it pulls off.

Guy, Accord is a car, lexus Es 300 is a crossover, in other words the Es 300 has a higher ground clearance, I know for a fact that most Nigerians like Accord because of beauty and not function, Honda cars are notorious for wheel issues with experience spare parts hence the reason why the car is usually cheaper than camry.

Just read the full story, well toyota vehicles are known for durability so I would still go with the Lexus. Honda Accord is just flashy.

I have not said leather ain't comfortable besides my dad's second generation toyota crown leather seats survived world war II I gave an example kwanu. You have not yet showed me anything classy in the LS that has won my heart, besides pictures can be extremely deceiving. I have seen tons of LS both 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation abandoned in mecho workshop so I have been in them and nothing wow about them now.

I will give u a few features found on a 2004 Lexus LS 430 that even a 2015 honda accord can't boast of not to talk of 2008 honda accord.

2. Coolbox on the ultra luxury package
3. AFS adaptive curve headlights. Mind u HID headlights are standard.
4. Dynamic radar cruise control
5. Knee airbags
6.genuine bird eyes maple woods
7. Genuine leather interior (lot better than the one found in a 2015 honda accord v6).
8. Electronic key that allowed the vehicle to detect the key fob in the owner's pocket and unlock the doors by touch
9. Mark Levinson sound system.
10. RWD vs accrods FWD
11. Parking sensors
12. power reclining massage rear seats equipped with audio controls, power sunshade, a cooler, and air purifier.
13. Rain sending windshield wipers
14. Water repellent windshield.

I can go on but I'll stop right there.


The 2008 honda accord is sexy to look on the outside and has a nice cabin, but in reality there is nothing special about it. The v6 is very potent and responsive, but talking about gadgets, its no match for a 2004 Lexus LS430.

1. The op was asking about a 2003 ES300 against an Accord 2008 Abeg whether nah luxury or not, the Accord beats the lexus but not necessarily hands down.

2. The LS is a High end luxury vehicle, but what luxury is optional in the LS yesterday is factory fitted today in the Accord.

3. the LS is a fullsized luxury vehicle, it has enough space to accommodate everything and more which is limited in the Accord but I will not compare a 2007 till date LS to Accord that will be murder. But realise we comparing outdated luxury of 5years to advanced technology. No matter how luxurious the Nokia 808 pureview is with its 41mp it's already served it's purpose then and will be outmatched by today's tech. lol

4. there are some luxurious gadgets that should be overlooked and not take into consideration when purchasing a vehicle. eg what's the use of the big space the LS, S-class have when I won't be chauffeured in it, what's the use of leather seats when it's not comfortable, what's the use of sat nav when it won't work in my region etc.

Pimped out Lexus u say? Lol. That is a stock Lexus Ls430. It is a full sized car and the exterior is on par with any 2004 full sized luxury car. Yes the accord is sexier on the outside being a more recent model, but the Lexus is far better in comfort, gadgets, safety and quality of finish.
