This bus is probably driving to a repair shop to get it fixed, not like the owner is driving it like this to commute. Would have been a lot safer to use a tow vehicle though.

Op, both cars are made my Nissan, Infiniti is the luxury version of murano which means its got better gadgets, better leather abs better overall ride. Stay away from the first generation murano as it is notorious for transmission failure. The recent generations have improved though. If I have to choose between the 2, I'll choose the Infiniti, its more aggressive and better looking plus more luxurious. A bit expensive to maintain though.

Bros simply get a plug and play scanner. Tried this bluetooth thing last year on my car and it worked just once then it couldn't communicate with ECU again.
With plug and play, no worries.
Now you have purchased 2 bluetooth devices which might have amounted to the cheapest plug and play device.
Just abandon those stuff bro and save yourself unnecessary headache.

Bluetooth devices work more than lots of plug and play. For me its either a professional plug and play (which are expensive) or a cheap bluetooth. A bluetooth elm327 can do a lot more than ur average plug and play that are sold for like 8-15k. Most of ur average plug and play can't read live data which a simple bluetooth elm327 can do with ease. It depends on the software u are using with it.

For da past 1 and the half year, i've been to two different driving schools but driving just seem so diffuclt, i cannot hold dat steering wit my right hand and hav tried to use my right leg for da brake nd accelerator but its impossible i've even tried explainin my problem to my driving teacher but they dnt undastand. Try power bike, it is much easier. At least u won't need to use ur right leg for throttle.

I got one of these cheap ELM bluetooth OBD2 scanner devices. I have used a friends's own on my car before and I decided to buy it.

Unfortunately for me, the ones(Two devices) I bought did not work for my car. The device is able to connect via torque but the app indicates that it cannot talk to the car ECU. I contacted the seller and she advices I should use the computer software, that it should work. I don't have my laptop around me and would only be able to do this during the weekend.

My question is; has any one used the PC based software to access the ELM bluetooth device after it failed to work with Torque app on android?

Forget torque, sometimes it is difficult to connect. Try obd car doctor which is easier to connect and better than torque in my opinion.

Funny video, but he was telling the absolute truth. If u have money to burn go buy urself a Mercedes, but if u are trying to keep ur car for long with low maintenance cost, stick with ur Toyotas.

Please will the steering wheel controls work on the device for this EOD 2004 after installation and does it have full reverse camera fittings plus bluetooth hands free options on it?

I can testify that it works perfectly. One year now since fogman installed in my 05 accord and everything still works. Reverse camera, steering control, Bluetooth, (it connects with my phone automatically within 5 seconds after the first pairing), DVD, etc. I hardly use the CD player though as I also have an iPod installed so I only play music from my iPod .

I use an iPhone, and I gues the Bluetooth version of OBD will not be compatible with IPhone . I need the wifi version ,which unfortunately is not available on konga. Don't know if u have an idea where I can get it.

It works, but can only read basic engine and transmission codes and u need a smartphone to use it with, or a laptop (slower connection on laptops). U need something better and more expensive to scan abs, SRS, etc.

i had a pal that experienced same issues. I was personally there when the issue was resolved and i will share with you if it might help. NB- Please note that its your serpentine belt that is snapping.


When his belt first snapped, the remains forced its way into the oil seal that is attached to the pulley connected to the crack shaft which cause oil leakages which was the cause of these scenario am sharing with you. The pulley had to be removed and the serpentine belt remains where pulled-out and oil-seal was replaced.

Op didn't say serpentine belt, he said timing belt which is possible. u can't be too sure with guessing.

So Mr Op, is it serpentine belt on timing belt that is snapping? Is the belt visible or inside the engine?

2009 ACCORD USES TIMING CHAIN LIKE ITS PREDECESSORS, THE MECHANIC MUST BE REFERRING TO ANOTHER BELT.

The v6 uses timing belt.

Back to the topic, if a Christian can burn someone else's shrine, then it is no crime if Muslims burn churches and vice versa. It is not just about flat tummy. Most Nigerians don't care about being fit. Having a flat tummy is part of being fit, and this is one of the reasons we have low life expectancy. A simple running in the morning can do a lot to keep someone fit. Why do u think rich people with big stomach do a lot by going to they gym at their old age? A 50 year old Nigerian woman would look very old, meanwhile in the western world, a 50 year old woman would look very fit and strong.

Keeping fit is not only about exercise, it also involves watching what we eat. Trust me when u are fit, u are going to be very happy with urself.

Streaming cannot be compared with watching on TV. I also stream and I pay more than 15k a month for internet if I am to watch up to 6 live matches within that month. So bro, streaming is way way more expensive, plus if ur internet is not fast enough na buffering be that. And with the internet speed we have in naija its still not possible to stream HD content seamlessly without buffer.

she no be block, but from that height and velocity her weight is more than 20 blocks. I will give u an example. If u drop ur phone from 5 feet, it is possible for ur phone to survive it and not get shattered. But then drop it from 10 feet and ur screen will probably break. Increase the height to 20 feet and ur phone will shatter. Now compare that to a human that is about 60kg jumping from about 1,000 feet. Unless u are spiderman or superman or thor, or maybe incredible hulk, u can't catch her.

Getting a soft padding around that place is not as easy as people think, this is not a movie but reality. Do u think people have soft padding lying around waiting for someone to jump off a building so they can place it there? A mere home mattress will not work here. Also it depends on how long she had stayed up there before jumping, if not too long then nothing could have been done to save her. To get a mattress that can suppress her jump from that height will take time for sure.

Point taken but i am talking from a more practical approach... The truth as i stated earlier, the LR is expensive to maintain, but you would hardly find fake parts for that vehicle, only brand new and tokunbo... I have used mine for well over 8 months and it hasnt given me any issues... The reason why u see cars parked at mechanics is caused by two things, range cars are built to last, the engines hardly give issues and they rarely give electrical issues.. The fact that u see it parked in a workshop means the user hardly maintains it(servicing at the proper time) and probably the guy cant afford to maintain it...

I dont have a problem with the Honda bt i can assure u that with Lagos roads, I can bet it with u that u will start hearing sounds at the joints and having absorber issues in six months of driving within lag... And u will find that the Honda has more fake parts in the market than any other car u can imagine, I know this from experience... U might have to change absorbers 4 - 5 times before u eventually get an original... besides these cars are very low to the ground each time u ride into a pothole u dont see quick enough u tend to start having wheel issues...

The Vogue and the RR are hardly offroaders... thats y they would advice strongly against u washing the engine of a vogue or rr... But the LR is built for rugged terrains... Please do ur findings about these products and understand them more...

LR is in the same class with a Benz... but like u said, u are entitled to ur opinion...

Bros, that there are no fake parts for the LR3 doesn't mean it is built to last mkre than the honda. U can also get geunine parts for the honda and I can guarantee u that u won't hear any squeecking sound. The LR is the more premium car of course and it is more expensive. Also it is way more expensive to maintain, if u don't make enough money don't even bother buying it.

But the issue of parts is another thing. Honda has lots of fake parts, but that is up to the owner if he wants fake parts or original. U can get shock absorbers for as low as N14,000 for the 2 front. But the genuine one would cost about 60k, it is called choice. U can't blame honda because owners choose to buy fake parts. Nonetheless, the geunine one is nothing compared to the price of air shocks.
