partnerbiz4:Calm down, politics is less theoretical and more practical. There are lots of things in the Constitution but they are ignored! Enforcement does not only mean having the powers to enforce but actually going through with it. Name one ex-president that has actually been arrested by the legislative arm? It's just not done, the power is there but the will to do it is not, they understand the weight that an ex-president pulls, even a gentle one like GEJ still holds enormous powers! |
They have the right to summon any president, past or present but the truth here is that the presidents don't have to respond and there is no such thing as enforcement. The rep Duoye is just a silly goat with no iota of intelligence, I suggest he reads the Constitution and the powers of the Legislative arm of government instead of behaving like a tout! |
Bull sh*t! Per post? Are we really this stupid in this country? Can't we ask simple questions like who pays him? Instagram or his sponsors? So you mean to tell me CR9 can just take a photo of himself eating bananas and gbam 100 million Naira.....hahahahaha, Shameless media! |
Joblessness fall on you! |
Suspect33:Hahahaha.... maybe 15 to 20 years ago but nowadays it is war! Biafra and the alignment of the SW with the North has changed things my friend, only the lucky ones still maintain close friendships like yours...the lucky ones! |
Remains Mbappe(Una Wish) and Mahrez, maybe this is the year Wenger finally wins the Premier League after a long drought ![]() |
Be honest with yourself and ask these simple questions: If she caught you cheating in the same situation, would SHE forgive you and go on with the wedding? If you had not caught her, would she have the mind to confess and repent or would she go on with the wedding and continue her cheating ways? Never marry out of pity, it is the worst thing you can do in life but instead marry someone that you are willing to truly and genuinely forgive all their faults including cheating! There's a difference between cheating while dating and cheating while married but let no one deceive you the probability of a married woman cheating provided that she was known to cheat during courtship is very HIGH! |
Simple question: Would the reaction be any different if it was a Nigerian that ordered the assault? The debtor still has the impetus to challenge them from taking his wires not knowing it is part of standard operation to serve as a deterrence to serial debtors but ultimately this is still the fault of the government and the Electricity companies. Where are all the prepaid meters? |
Fearlez:Did you even read my last post? Did you see where I wrote "We have had Yoruba, Hausa and Ijaw as presidents and none of them fixed it", so I don't understand your statement about double standard. You are just making my point for me, even if all past presidents failed, an Ijaw man should have succeeded since the issue hits so close to home. This is why I'll repeat my stance that this is not about marginalization but bad governance, plain and simple! |
2. All The Faith He Had Had, Had Had No Effect On The Outcome Of His Life Meaning: He had had a lot of faith, but it had had no effect on the outcome of his life. |
Fearlez:You are still making the same mistake, thinking business men are not active godfathers and players in government! There's no systematic marginalization anywhere, if such a thing happened then GEJ should be considered a betrayal, all the senators and house of Rep members from the South South and the South East are traitors. Why are we so afraid of the truth in this country? It is easy to play the victim card but it only takes a look inward to realize we have all been SCAMMED! The Seaports favors all Nigerians so what sense is there to close them just to spite a group of people? This is nothing but the work of WICKED and CLUELESS governments! We have had Yoruba, Hausa and Ijaw as presidents and none of them fixed it so excuse me if I don't see the marginalization here! |
Fearlez:What does private citizens have to do with government agencies? Did you just say this? There's a place called Silicon Valley in the USA that controls 80% of the INFORMATION SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGY for HOMELAND SECURITY. There's a company called Berkshire Hathaway along with a couple other companies responsible for mos insurance laws in America. It is only those with low business acumen that would say private citizens have nothing to do with government agencies. Why can't rich businessmen put pressure on their representatives to bring development to their communities? Must everything be so difficult in this country! The problem of closed seaport could have been fixed by 3 different presidents now but it hasn't, this tells you it has nothing to do with tribes but the wealthy people in those areas refusing to invest in their communities and rather putting all their resources in the development of Lagos. You are right about one thing, all Nigerians are suffering from the lack of seaports and it would be beneficial for everyone but make no mistake this has nothing to do with marginalization but lack of leadership and true patriots of the Niger-Delta areas! |
sean1000x:What you just wrote is plain hogwash and you know it! Forget Buhari, why were the ports not opened by GEJ? Answer this question with some intelligence then perhaps we can have a discussion on your supposed systematic marginalization! |
Fearlez:So it's no longer oil but seaport monopoly. Let me ask you a question, Port Harcourt, Warri, don't they have governors, senators and representatives in government? I could count at least 10 billionaires from that region, why can't they work together with the government to reopen the seaport? Forget about Buhari, why wasn't this done when GEJ was in power? As long as people like Asari are considered champions of the Niger Delta, the Niger Delta people will continue to suffer because it is clear he is only fighting for his own pockets! |
Lol...do we even have youths in this country? Do they even have the spirit, the resources to construct a mass protest? I doubt it, if religion does not tear them apart, tribes and money would do the trick....We have no PATRIOTS in this country, no PATRIOTS! |
one left! |
Fair enough, there is no compulsion in religion but rather persuasion! No one can Islamize or Christianize Nigeria without the consent of its citizens. I find it funny that they didn't cry about Islamization when OBJ, Yaradua and GEJ took office but seized on the opportunity to shout now since Buhari is very unpopular at the moment and they say politics and religion does not mix.... ![]() |
Vikky014:Olodo what of the men living in Arab counties being called Alhaji because of old age? Lol, all bark and no substance. I expected you to bring out proofs but all you do is bark like bingo...woof woof! Just because you repeat something doesn't make it factual, go and educate yourself instead of constituting a nuisance! |
Vikky014:Silly girl what do you know about Islam or who is called Alhaji? Do you think all male Northerners are called Alhaji? You claim sodomy is more common in Muslim communities yet all it takes is a look back at the stories on Nairaland over the last year to see you are clearly WRONG, arguing with you is like dealing with a toddler, nothing but a screaming match Educate yourself girl! |
What most guys don't realize is that being broke or just having enough money to subsist, are indicative of certain traits women in general aren't attracted to. Traits like laziness, unintelligence, lack of ambition, bad luck, and a lack of good education.Thought the OP had reasonable facts to back up her points until I read the above sentences and realized she is just another educated illiterate who knows nothing about the topic she chose to talk about! How can someone combine laziness with lack of intelligence and also lump them with bad luck? In addition what the hell does being broke have to do with intelligence or lack of ambition? In my life I've seen very educated people struggle to get a job, I've seen hard working people struggle to make ends meet and I've also seen the laziest of humans blessed with abundant wealth. Getting back to the main topic, does the OP not realize that most of our mothers struggled with our fathers till they became financially sufficient? Does she not realize that destiny and fate are often manifests in a mysterious way? I've seen very rich couples end up as beggars on the streets and I've also seen poor, ghetto parents and children rise up to become owners of mansions. Next time stick to topics you can back up with facts not useless sentiments! |
sirfee:No doubt they are in every parts of the country but you and I know that their lifestyle and religion makes such a thing very difficult. If Nigeria ever gives in to homosexuality, it would be because of the liberal lifestyle of the South. |
Vikky014:I have families in the North and have been there many times. The mere fact that they practice one of the harshest religion on the planet makes me to doubt your statement! For example, they can marry several wives, even marry underage females. So what would prompt their men to homosexuality, as for the women, there has never been a shortage of men in the North so I also doubt that but of course there might be a few that are possessed by the homosexuality spirit but believe me it's far less than more Western conscious societies in the South. |
simiolu1:I beg to differ, just because it is not legal does not mean it does not exist! A lot of our politicians got their wealth from illegality but they use the money to invest in legal things and often off shore. Keep deceiving yourself on the legality mumbo jumbo, people ike E-money and so on cannot account for how they got their wealth but it is their wealth none the less! |
simiolu1:Officially he is worth over 800 million dollars but trust me there are unknown sources of income that Forbes and the feds can't keep track of, so in reality that nigga worth more than a billion and so is P-diddy. |
I'm not surprised, Hollywood, the music industry and the wealthy elites all practice homosexuality. It is the norm and by the year 2040 if you ain't gay in America, you can't make it to the top, they call it gay pride but it's actually a war against heterosexuals, a war against traditional marriages and a war against religion......Thank God for 9ja, even though it is jagajaga, I'd be damned if we ever practice such yamayama even if Yorubas or Igbos compromise themselves because of money and westernization, I trust my Northerners they would rather die than settle for iranu; shege wahlahi ![]() |
Even though government shares majority of the blame, the useless citizens living in such areas are known to clog gutters with waste and other garbage. If we can have proper enforcement of laws, anyone caught throwing paper, nylon etc on the road not to talk of gutters should face a minimum of 3 months in Jail or a fine of 250k Naira, the situation would greatly improve, not only in this areas but places like Mushin, Ipaja and so on. |

She is always complaining of being tired, meanwhile, I do the dishes, do the vacuuming (sweeping), cleaning and other domestic duties, even when she cooks, I have to cut the ingredients and all that, in short she rarely cooks. We sleep in different rooms for 4 years counting now, occasionally I try to go to her room to initiate sex, but 99% of cases she chase me away, sometime she locks her door.Bro you fall my hand, why na? Why the ef did you get married? No wonder she does not respect you, you've turned yourself into a woman. You took all her responsibilities away. Look here, the honest truth is that you've stopped being a MAN. Yes, it's not just about having sex but being in charge of your domain. Women love men who take charge, you don't have to be controlling but for goodness sake show some balls! Once you let a woman know the worst situation that can happen and that you are not afraid of the worst, that is the day she starts respecting you back. The only reason women disrespect their husband is because they feel they have nothing to lose, change that mentality bro; these women say they like soft, easy going guys but trust me they prefer guys to be in charge, not in an abusive way but in a way that makes the feel secured. Go home now, call a family meeting with her parents and your parents or elders in the family, state your demands and do not COMPROMISE but don't do this if she is the one paying your bills o, otherwise na GOBE be that o ![]() |
EgunMogaji:Lol....that's where we are different, I learn even from the simplest of people, good or bad, no knowledge is wasted...good luck with your supposed mentality ![]() |
EgunMogaji:Lol...don't make me laugh, I highly doubt you could match 2 Masters, a P.Hd in waiting with over 30 certifications ranging from CISA, CISSP to MSCE and CCNP but my friend you just committed the biggest blunder made by most Nigerians, you seem to think certifications and credentials equals exposure, you are so WRONG! Over my career so far, I've had subordinates with less credentials but over 20 to 25 years of experience, their exposure to American history, politics and social life cannot be compared to mine. I've been taught to look beyond credentials my friend and my advice to you is to do the same, you'll learn a lot more that way, instead of being an overconfident prick ![]() |
Of course you are not a man, real men don't give a flip about what other guys thinks of them, they are masters of their domain and their self confidence is always high. Another thing to consider, if your brother and friends are into things like that, it is better you distance yourself because corrupt people are likely to corrupt the innocent ones either directly or indirectly! |
