listica:You obviously have more problems in your life than to be advising me, the least of which is your poor grammar. You are nothing but a speck of dust and not worth arguing with. |
listica:You type as big as your mouth. The rubbish you posted above represents how clueless you are, keep supporting a mediocre government, I'll remind you again when you are jobless in the year 2017, FOOL! |
The sad truth is 80% of you on here don't even have a voter's card. The same 80% are jobless and/or still depending on others for survival. One would think you fools would have learned your lessons from 2011 but it seems you were made for suffering. Most of you when you compare your life 5 year ago to now, you can't see any form of improvement. I know the truth is bitter but it just had to be said, Nigerian youths are cowards, afraid of change and incapable of a revolution; that is why the old ones keep coming up with useless policies which have no benefit whatsoever. You can shout GEJ till 2019 all you want but that does not hide the fact that your lives are becoming worthless more and more, before you know it most of you would be in the 30s or 40s with no accomplishment. Forget unemployment, forget bad roads, forget poor electricity and so on, all that matters is that GEJ has PHD and that PHD makes him a great president....FOOLS! |
Out of all the things he said, all you could take out of it was that one, shame on you! |
Depends on your finanacial situation, if you make more than that per month, then no need to do the act but if you are living in a face me face u and dinner no sure, if u no slap am na SIN! |
Fourwinds:Your example has nothing to do with this situation. She didn't just shag him like a street girl, they got married, families were involved so I see no relation to the situation you mentioned. The only mistake she made was to put her trust in a human being, something many of us do everyday. Tired of arguing with you! |

nebukadnezzari:Sure she was used but believe it or not, an average woman would fall for the same con over and over again. Women are moved by emotions and no human being is above making a mistake, trust me it could happen to anyone, the elements were just too much to the point that the guy involved his family and also met her family, very sophisticated con. Guys also get duped everyday, I've been duped once also so let's stop all these criticism. |
Fourwinds:I don't know about you but the place I did I.T for a year was in another state, the people I worked with we had nothing in common and after a year we all went separate ways, keep in mind this was a place I worked for a year o not to talk of someone that did I.T for only a few weeks. You need to wake up and realize life is not all about theories. In addition, when it comes to matters of the heart most people don't have time to do all the detective work you mentioned above, we are humans and operate largely on emotions, abeg give the poor girl a break, she no be James Bond! |
Fourwinds:You are not being reasonable, so you expect her to go back to where she did I.T after a year and start asking questions about the man's personal life and you also expect people there to entertain such questions. This is reality not a soap opera, better wake up! The best form of evidence was the man's family and unfortunately it didn't workout, if Nigeria was a more civilized society, I would say she should do a background check on him but that option does not exists as we no get verifiable database. |
nebukadnezzari:HABA! Life no hard reach that na, if everyone armed themselves like C.I.A operatives imagine what kind of world we would be living in..... ![]() |
Fourwinds:Once again you need to read the story again. While she was doing I.T he was married, he didn't claim to be single till after a year later. Please read the story again! |
Some of these are true some are just plain silly. My favorite is #1 1. In marriage, it starts out with the guy giving instructions most of the time but as time goes by and children starts growing, the woman becomes the instructor, she becomes the organizer, the planner, the keeper. She becomes more valuable than she knows becuse the man nor the children would be able to survive a day without her. She becomes a mother not only to her kids but to her husband, when anything goes wrong, her patience and strength determines if the situation gets worse or better. In summation, the woman grows from receiving instructions to being an instructor! |
Fourwinds:Please try to think before you write, I know you are intelligent enough to know that not everybody is a Christian. Furthermore she did not date him while he was married, they met after one year and he told her that he was now single, he confided in her that he was having marital problems and his wife wanted a separation, so it is very believable, he even went thru the process of involving his family, so a normal woman has no reason to doubt. Please try not to criticize without first examining all the points! |
Fourwinds:The bolded statement does not make sense to me. If you read the description well, the guy was married when they met and she only did her I.T there for a few weeks. You can't blame someone based on assumptions, like you said we were not there so anybody condemning her should keep quiet! |
easy4beno:If human beings were perfect we wouldn't have any problems would we? Based on my own personal experiences, I know that matters of the heart can be very tricky, no one is perfect. Anyone could fall into similar circumstances so I suggest not blaming her too much. Yes you are right she needs a solution not more people antagonizing her. |
Nairalanders will always amaze me. See useless responses, some even calling her greedy. Do you people read at all or are your brains clogged up due to the amount of pollution in Nigeria. I will not be so quick to condemn the poor woman based on a few things. 1: Nigeria operates in both the physical and spiritual realm. ( Who knows maybe the guy was told that in order for his wife to bear children for him, he must mate with another woman) 2: We all know how Nigerian bosses are. They get really close to their employees and sometimes take advantage of them easily. 3: If you developed a friendship with a guy and after a while he informed you that his situation has changed(often times thru a sad, pathetic format), you would feel pity for him. If you like the guy a little before, the likeness will multiply times 100 and feelings develop. 4: It is possible the guy's family were in on it, this makes it very believable! My advice to any woman is to always insist on a court wedding. This way you can be rest assured of at least the possibility of a court settlement followed by a divorce. Also shey the woman no get family ni, if someone did this to my sis, na war o! |
customized13:You are useless than the p in psychology. It's like going to the North and saying Hausas are not majority or going to the Southeast and saying Igbos won't influence voting. Try and use your brain more in order not to become dormant! |
If I had known then what I discovered now, I wouldn't have wasted 5 years of my life going to the university. It's a complete waste of time, 70% of graduates will never utilize their degree, a lot of them will end up either getting a job in another field or going into business. In 2008 after finishing my degree, I discovered that as a Computer Science graduate my skills were like that of an 8 year old Chinese kid, Nigerian computer scientist are still stuck on first level technologies and the lecturers are basically out of touch with reality. With the money being spent on higher education, it would be more beneficial to go into business directly or school out of the country. Nigerian education is a joke not because graduates don't have the brains to perform but because they can only know what they are taught. Imagine after spending 5 years on theories then going for a job interview with a poorly constructed resume and poor interviewing skills or going for an interview and they ask you to dissect a computer and put it back together under 30 minutes. The problem is not Nigerian graduates, the problem is the system. A system designed for failure, put together by poor government policies and a greedy private sector. My best advice for those still in school is to learn a trade on the side or gain valuable communication skills aside from their degrees. |
Let us all calm down, there are way more things that Jonathan failed at, this one is old news. We all know he can't control his wife, let's focus more on the main issues plaguing his presidency. Let's talk about corruption, lack of security, poor roads and the sufferings of the average Nigerian. No matter how much his supporters try to paint him as a saint, the fact remains that his policies are not working and his advisers are masters of failure! |
temzybabe:You're not living in reality. What's the purpose of a government, if not the well being of the people. You can't criticize Buhari without looking at GEJ's failures. Take it or leave it! |
temzybabe:You try so hard to make a point but just admit that you are wrong. The guy never stated that the corp member killings were right or justified, he was only making a point that both presidential candidates can be accused of putting lives in danger. Next time don't just read words but comprehend! |
temzybabe:You are obviously the ignorant one here. He was comparing what happened to the corp members to the countless lives lost by the inability of the government to provide security and welfare for the people. If you all can be so daft as to blame Buhari for the senseless act of some aggrieved individuals and yet look away at GEJ's failures then I pity your souls! |
A lot of you kids are just plain silly! To call someone's culture cruel is stupidity of the highest order. If you don't agree with it or don't understand why it is done, just say so, do not call it wicked or inhumane for every culture has a origin and purpose. In Africa, do you know the meaning of parents? Do you know the importance of showing one's lineage or heritage? No you do not! Rather than you to do research and see why it is still being done today, you rush quickly to judgment and will forever be ignorant. |
The problem with most Nigerians is that we read but we don't comprehend. We see but don't have clarity. Some ignorant people on here are shouting wonderful president, see all the great policies. Ask yourselves, what are the results of these policies so far? How's the devaluation of Naira working out? Reintroduction of ATM charges? Really, Jona Really? Haven't the people suffered enough! Out of all the issues Nigeria is currently facing, I would vote for Jonathan if he decides to be a man and make sound decisions for once. He might be a good person at heart but he has surrounded himself with dangerous people, people with bad intentions for this country. Nigeria does not need policies which are good in theory but fail woefully in reality. Nigeria needs swift, decisive leaders capable of leading us back to glory. I see no reason whatsoever that the Naira will become so useless at the rate of 185, no reason why we can't equip the military enough to take down Boko Haram. There's no excuse for the high rate of unemployment in the country and the poor state of electricity. GEJ I like you as a person but as a president you are a failure and after 6 years of presidency, I see no reason why Nigerians should give you another 4 years! |
jamace:Why don't you enlighten me? At least I graduated during that time and have several family members that have graduated since then. I know the condition of those insitutions. Poor academic standards, constant strike, poor negotiation skills by the government, should I go on? Yea let's talk about global statistics on employment? When unemployment was 8% in the U.S, Obama was almost impeached. When it was over 8% in the U.K, there was protests everywhere. In Ghana unemployment rate is lower than 13%, in senegal, lower than 15%, why is it that a country like Nigeria with so many resources and educated minds find it hard to either create jobs or enforce policies to encourage private sector businesses to hire more people. See my friend, this is simple, Nigerian people are being taken for granted, it is almost evil the way this government has increased the sufferings of the average Nigerian. You can defend Jonathan all you want but the fact remains, he has failed the Nigerian people! |
jamace:I provided you with real statistics on unemployment. It was less than 7% in 2006 and 18% currently. Are past governments responsible for that? Obasanjo left office with zero debts, what is Nigeria's debt currently? Keep making excuses for Jonathan, it won't change the fact that he has failed. I do not fault him tho, I blame Nigerians for voting on religious/tribal emphasis, 4 years later Nigerians are wiser. No more "I had no shoes", no more "Goodluck na our brother", the wind has blown and we can all see the yansh of the fowl, many Nigerians are ready to vote for change, this election will not be a walkover like 2011. |
jamace:Why can't you be honest with yourself? I've given you proof upon proof. Which ones don't you understand? Is it the lack of security? the high unemployment rate? theepileptic electricity or the high cost of living for the average Nigerian? Stop deceiving yourself, I'm sure you would like Nigerians to remain blind and accept the mediocre president for another 4 years but this is not 2011, he's not going to have a free ride. We the Nigerian people are no longer afraid of change, no more! If you were paid by PDP better return the money, if na bag of rice you collect better return am, Nigerians are slowly waking up and the wind of change is stronger than ever! |
jamace:My friend stop arguing for argument sake and accept the fact, GEJ's government is mediocre and Nigerians are fed up! You have nothing else to say but to waste my time with useless rhetorics, what's my business with OBJ's ill gotten wealth, how does that impact Jonathan's failures? |
Nigerians do not be deceived! It is obvious that GEJ supporters and PDP are scared of Buhari, if he was not a worthy opponent, they wouldn't bother trying to do everything in their power to discredit him, the more stories like this pop up, the more Nigerians wants a change in governance. A few months till election, instead of talking about GEJ's achievements they focus on crippling the opponent with fabricated almost unbelievable stories but rest assured Nigerians are awake, this is not 2011, people are fed up! |
jamace:It's obvious you have no points to butter your stance. I just showed you the unemployment rate from 2006 and that of now and yet you still open your mouth to support an inept government. You want to compare GEJ to OBJ, you must be a joker, let me state some of his achievements: 1: Telecommunications...e.g MTN 2. Established EFCC, ICPC, strengthened NDLEA and NAFDAC 3.Completely erased Nigerian's foreign debt 4. Raised Nigeria's GDP above 16% for the first time in almost 20 years. 5: Improved Agriculture sector with the reintroduction of Cassava processing plants. 6: At a time when the country's democracy was so fragile, he negotiated with military heads, ensuring that the possibility of a coup did not exist. 7: Tackled the banking sector, made sure Nigerian banks would not steal people's money and declare bankcruptcy. There is so much more but I think you get it now, never compare a dullard of a president to a well oiled military machine like Obasanjo, never! |

I did not sleep in Ore as used to be the case
GREED N STUPIDITY MADE HER A CONMANS MARK. YOU NEVER SEE CON WEY DEM INVOLVE PRESIDENT JOIN. SHE WAS CARRIED AWAY BY THE ILLUSION OF MARRIAGE THAT SHE COULDNT SEE THE DETAILS. A wise man once told me its not whats right with the picture that matters, its whats wrong with it. She was used to open the mans wifes womb...
