1. There shall be 36 states in Nigeria, that is to say, Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom,
Anambra, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti,

I have read clause 93 and 94 and there's nothing like debunking electronic transmission of result there, it just states that non can sway someone or intimidate a voter by violence just as MC Oluomo did or use any Newspaper or any other media to smear the image of the opponent, now I would like to see your own version printed from mars or elsewhere and let me clarify

Rules & Regulation 48
An election result shall only be collated if the Collation Officer ascertains that the number of accredited voters agrees with the number recorded in the BVAS and votes scored by Political Parties on the result sheet is correct and agrees with the result electronically transmitted or transferred directly from the Polling Unit as prescribed in these Regulations and Guidelines. (b) If a Collation or Returning Officer determines that a result from a lower level of collation is not correct, he/she shall use the result electronically transmitted or transferred directly from that lower level to collate and announce the result. (c) if no result has been directly transmitted electronically for a polling unit or any level of collation, the provision of Clause 93 of these Regulations shall be applied.

Clause 93
On its part, Clause 93 provides that “Where the INEC hardcopy of collated results from the immediate lower level of collation does not exist, the Collation Officer shall use electronically transmitted results or results from the IReV portal to continue collation. Where none of these exist, the Collation Officer shall ask for duplicate hardcopies issued by the Commission to the following bodies in the order below: (i) The Nigeria Police Force; and (ii) Agents of Political Parties”

If you still don't understand then forget about it grin grin grin grin

That's where the dunceness of Nigeria comes, copying American system without understanding. DC is a State in America, nothing like territory, inside DC is Washington; the capital of District Columbia State ( DC) So Americans have the right to classify it as ordinary state since it has elected governor just like every other states in the US but in our own case, it's totally different ball game, Our FCT is distinct from other states, it's called a Territory and not a state and its administrative blocks are totally different from every other state in Nigeria. If you don't know that it has a special status and different from Nigerian states, then you should know it today, at least that's how your constitution presents it, and this is why 25% is needed in it. If you want to learn more about it, then you can go to history of Abuja to understand its geographical importance in Nigeria; the problem with Nigeria is that most don't read including their moronic leaders, that's why the thief didn't care to study the constitution and hastily announced the winner after taking some bribes or whatever inducement, I see him going to jail soon, because the constitution is the bedrock of every society and toying with it is not forgivable

LMAO....D.C is a state?....Okay..... Comedy at its peak, I should pay you for entertaining me grin grin grin grin

There's nothing like declining issue, it's the twisted and criminal mind of people that want to trample on constitution for personal interest and it will not happen. First Abuja is Federal Capital Territory and not Federal Capital State, can you spot the difference? Secondly, the term States And FCT is pure distinctive terms, if the FCT is a state, tell me who the governor is and is the so called governor elected?

I keep asking people like you the same question, WHY WOULD THE ELECTORAL ACT PLACE FCT ABOVE ALL OTHER STATES/TERRITORIES? If FCT was the deal breaker, why wouldn't politician just put all their power and might into getting votes in FCT? No be juju be that?

Washington D.C is a Federal Territory in the USA, the Constitution gives its people the right to vote but guess what, it's vote is just the same as the rest of the American territories, D.C also does not have a Governor......SOUNDS FAMILIAR?

It was not just said,it was also documented as rules and regulations of INEC which is an extension of the electoral act and holds as much power and binding authority!

Glad you mentioned rules and regulations, now tell me what Clause 48(c) allows? How about the Electoral Act itself? Read Clause 93 and enlighten yourself!

Under the new Act, the use of electronic devices such as smart card readers, electronic voting machines and other technological devices, is allowed in the accreditation process for voters and in the general conduct of elections.[27] Furthermore, the new Act provides for electronic transmission of election results in accordance with the procedure determined by the Commission.[28]

This is your electoral act, read it very well brother: Nigeria is not a jungle or banana republic where someone can just because of his privileged position allow himself to be used to spit on our constitution and laws, electoral act clearly states that there will be electronic transmission of results. And for those saying that 25% is not required in FCT, that' it should be treated as a State, should go and read the electoral act and see how it separates FCT from other states,: It always use these phrases, States and the FCT, we are watching, Mr return the money given to you to conduct this smam and hand yourself over to DSS to be prosecuted

Go and read Clause 93 and 94.....Una problem be say una no fit take time to read and comprehend rather you pick/choose which parts favors your argument! The ridiculous notion that the Electoral Act places Abuja ahead of the rest of the states in Nigeria is comedic relief, it just goes to show the broader issue of declining standard of education in Nigeria.....SHAME!

Mahmood's November 2022 vow was documented.
Electoral Act did not ask Mahmood to spend billions of Naira on electronic transmission of vote results but switch off the system for electronic transmission of vote results after voters had cast their votes; then use manual collation to continue with the election and pronounce Bola Ahmed Tinubu as winner. Go to your village square to propagate your retrogressive twisting of the law on Election.

Sounds like a personal beef between you and Mahmoud grin grin grin. Electoral Act gives way for alternative method of coalition and transmission of results....READ MAN READ! Any other discussion na SENTIMENTS!

U 4got three elections were conducted that same day?
The technological glitches didn't affect the other 2 with over a thousand candidates contesting, but affected only the presidential that had just 17 candidates🤣
Dey play
If INEC knew the angle Obi will pass, they would have just shut down the Bivas and IREV for all.
Now they have serious explanations to do on why the issue affected just only the presidential.
I wondered the judge that will even listen to the excuse any of them will provide
INEC chairman should better answer his subpoena because the more he run away, the more the judges will assumed he did it on purpose
He should be in court now explaining but Nigeria is a banana republic where anything goes

We dey watch

Which one was conducted first? So if you wrote the same exam three times would you be caught off-guard all 3 times?

Didn't INEC chairman promise to transmit results real time?
Let's even assumed the Tribune reportage is true,
1. Do u change rules on the eve of the most important election in Nigeria history
2. If truly INEC chairman said the result will no longer be transmitted, then why go ahead to transmit others and left only the presidential?

These are questions many of u should have gotten from the write up
Not playing the tribal card as always

Is INEC chairman, the Electoral Act? Man can promise you heaven and earth but if it is not documented na ofutufete, LAMBA! Look at your completely fuçked up way of thinking, a supposedly exposed individual (I guess you live in Uncle Sam).
Nigeria democracy is still at it infancy stage (a 60 years old country), was china colonized ?? (The same China that saw hell in the hands of the japanese and was able to pull over 800M people out of poverty) or is it Korea that was occupied until 1945 by the same japanese and was completely devastated after the Korean war, hell we even gifted Japan two nukes & still they were able to rebuild.
It seems to me you are looking for excuse to justify the state of that society, telling me I like comparing Nigeria with the likes of Asians, Americans / European but guess what the common denominator they all share is that they are developed and advanced society.
If you really loved that country why don't you leave atl and move back.

Again what system of governance does China practice? Was China colonized by Japan? Before you spew rubbish kindly understand we are not talking about invasions of part of China but China as a whole. Furthermore you obviously have comprehension problems as I made my analysis based on system of governance and POPULATION! Bringing Korea into the conversation is asinine!

Finally, facts are facts my boi, I don't need to move back to Nigeria to speak the truth, I employ and pay the salaries of at least 10 people in 9ja,I contribute my fair share and pay taxes on my houses and investments, what have you done lately lil nigga?

Just Rhetoric and stop gap measures.
I've always opined that the disaster that country is facing could have been prevented a long time ago (1950s - 1990s) when most asian powers began to industrialize, the question I am yet to get answers to is what were the baby boomers and their parents / grandparents doing then.
A Chinese proverb says "The best time to plant a tree is a twenty years ago, the second best time is now", meaning it is not too late to start doing what is right and what are those things.
Yo have an economy (oil reliant one) whose size is less than 600B USD and a population more than 200M with a GDP per Capita of less 2.5K USD and you expect not to have massive unemployment, poverty and underdevelopment. Just to provide context here Holland (the Netherlands) has a population of less than 20M and over 1 trillion dollar economy (insanely high GDP per Capita), ROK has 50M population with more than 1.8 trillion dollar economy (also good GDP per Capita) so you could expect unemployment to be low here, high HDI and good standard of living.
The only way to solve the problem of unemployment is to start providing values across the globe and that will require the folks in power to start doing what is right.

Always comparing Nigerian society to China or Europeans/Americans.

1. Was China ever colonized? Do they have a homogenous society or are they fractured like Nigerians? What do you have in common with a Fulani?

2. Can you define communism? Do you know that such a system is geared towards community development than the liberal democratic system practiced in Nigeria? Nigeria's democracy is still less than 50 years old, with such a huge population democracy here is still in its infancy!

3. Are you a patriot? Are you willing to forsake majority of your profits for the greater good of the country? This is the question every Nigerian should be asked. If you want to compare Nigeria to China, you need to be prepared to say yes! Even the average American pays 5 TIMES the amount of taxes the average Nigerian pays yet we want development, we want fuel to be cheap and jobs abundant......WAKE UP!

Government must diversify the economy, private sector must be empowered and at the same time heavily regulated. The companies creating the most jobs should receive tax breaks, entrepreneurship should be encouraged and taught in universities as a required course. Government should invest in working refineries and return Nigeria back to agricultural dominance rather than wasting money on subsidies and other scams. Nigeria is not and can never develop the way China did, it must develop in its own unique way with government, private sector and citizens reaching a new level of understanding!

We don't have to wait for women to accept it, the English common law and the courts have already accepted it. If the man takes hus wife to court and can prove he has made significant contributions to the marriage, the court will rule they share the properties in accordance to their contributions.

90% of Nigerian courts will not rule in favor of the man, the law is very prejudiced against lazy men! Let's get this straight even this case can be successfully appealed, if the man never collected a dime from her. The judgment was not only based on her non financial contribution but the length of the marriage and her financial contributions. Rescuing him by paying 150k is just an example of how irresponsible the man is and the judge used that against him.

In a more straightforward case, the judge would have ruled in favor of the man since it is not a joint investment but this case is not straightforward. They lived in the house for 30 years, trust has been established that it is a family property and not just the husband's, I doubt the judge would rule similarly if they never lived in the house or the wife had other property to live in.

Family / Re: My Personal Observation About Nigerian "Adults" by abbey621(m): 2:56pm On May 27, 2023
CuriousCart:
I have noticed that most Nigerians are adults by age only and not thought. 80% of adults lack a clue about their next move and direction.

They usually copy what other successful people around them are doing on the surface.

If a colleague buys a car, they start getting worked up until they also buy a car. If a neighbour opens a shop for his wife they rush to open a shop too. If their friend is into tech, they abandon their budding career and start taking tech courses upandan.

I think the copiers do this because they believe mimicking will make them reach the same goals as the person but they fail to realize that life doesn't work that way because there are many unseen events and efforts that may have led to the copyee's success.

The colleague who bought a car may have been gifted by a sugar daddy or recently lost a parent and inherited the car while you are planning to use your entire savings plus loan.
The neighbour opening a shop may have had 15 years experience in that biz line while you just want to dive into it blindly.
The tech guy may just have the brains for it while you are more likely to succeed at sales.

Finally, when they are done copying and don't achieve the same successful result as the copyee, the next thing is to accuse him/her of using juju and using people's destiny to succeed.

Just do you.

Your opinion was shaped by your limited view of the world, once you travel to other countries, you would revise your view and have a more appreciative view of the world. For example, in the USA there's something called the American Dream! Work work work so that you can afford to buy a house on mortgage and pay it for 30 years at interest rate of 3-7%. Work for 30-40 years so that you can retire and the government can pay you 1/3rd of your salary for the rest of your life. Over 70% of the American population believes in this dream hence they become a slave to the system.

It is only human to follow trends whether good or bad, it is what it is!

His problem is not libido, he gets aroused with other women so definitely not the BP drugs!
