Guys, I almost sold my Honda Civic because of belt. I have spent close to or over 200k because of belt. Gone to different mechanics. Most of the times when the belt cuts the adjuster bolt will break inside the engine. I will need to drop the engine then get the service of a blacksmith. They said buy original belt, I bought. Buy new adjuster I bought. Change your pulleys I did but belt was still cutting. How I solved the problem. I met a mechanic who discovered that the belt was wrongly fixed. He told me to buy Belgium belt size 2160. Before I have been using size 2130. I bought the Belgium belt 2160 gave it to him you fixed it in the proper way. I have been driving for two months now I have not experienced any cutting. |
Bukola94:Please have you had similar experience? |

olaboyeh:Hello brother good evening. Please since June I have been battling with belt issues. I have bought more than 15 belts. I have changed adjuster more than 3 times. Recently I was told that the belt I was using was too short I should get 2150 and also the way the belt was aligned was wrong. I got size 2150 and used the recommended alignment pattern still the belt still cut. Mechanic have checked all the rollers nothing is wrong with the rollers. Please how were you able to overcome this problem? |
kingreign:I've been buying new belts. I'm advised to buy Belgium belt. Thanks for your response |
kingreign:Hello boss.. My alternator belt normally cuts. I was told that my belt adjuster for was faulty. I replaced the adjuster yet the belt still cuts. The mechanic said I should buy a shorter belt I bought it cut. He said I should a longer one I bought still cut. The mechanic has checked all the pulleys are ok and they aligned. What could really be the cause of this issue? The car is Honda Civic 06 |
kingreign:Good morning everyone. Please who knows the price of this Belt adjuster for Honda Civic 06

kingreign:Evening boss. I just put 2ltr ATF and the slipping stops. Thanks |
kingreign:Honda Civic. 06 The transmission slipping occurs occasionally. Sometimes I will have a smooth transmission. Other times it will slip. Currently it has slipped. I rev the car high but h it moves slow. |
kingreign:Good day my humble boss. Please I am experiencing 'transmission slipping'. When I checked online I saw that the most common cause of transmission slipping is low transmission fluid. I tried checking my ATF and no fluid on the deep stick. Someone said the car has to be hot while checking. I checked when it was cold. What's your take on this? |
kingreign:Good morning. Please any ideas on the price of A/C compressor for Honda Civic 06 |
Flight90:Great storyline. What does it take to crate something like that? |
kingreign:Honda Civic 06, automatic transmission. I took it to a mechanic. The problem has been solved. It was one of the engine sitting bolt that wasn't tight well that cause it. Thank you so much. I appreciate sir |
kingreign:Good day chairman. Please my car vibrates whenever I put it on reverse. But doesn't vibrate when it's in front driving. Only when I reverse that it vibrates. |

Manuella4ace:the radiator has a blockage. Working on it now. Thanks |
kingreign:The radiator had a blockage. I'm with the mechanic now. Thanks man |
Manuella4ace:ok thanks |
kingreign:Hello boss I greet you. Please whenever I drive the Honda Civic, the water in the radiator reserved tank with be boiling. I've checked the water pump is working. What could be problem? |
kingreign:thanks |
kingreign:The car has been fixed. The issues were: 1. Two Coils were bad 2. All the four plugs were bad 3. The bolt that tightens the steering pump wasn't there. Thanks bro. Please is it true that Honda cars requires yearly programming? Because I'm told the car needs to be reprogrammed |
kingreign:Good morning bro. Please I drove my friend's Honda Civic and entered a big gallop. Immediately, the car stops. I discovered that the alternator belt has removed. I managed to drive it to a mechanic workshop and got it fixed. On my way home I noticed that the water in the reserved water container was boiling seriously. I stopped the car and allowed the engine to cool. Once the engine cool I started the car and it was not accelerating well. I opened the bonnet and realized that the alternator belt has removed again. This morning as I wanted to check the oil Guage, I discovered that the dipstick has melted. Please what's the way forward. |
