samplanner: first of all I'll like to congratulate all that have been given provisional appointments into NIS, whether u got it on merit( very rare In Nigeria anyway) or u got it bcs u have paid for it or u have high connections. all the same, God made it that way and u shld be grateful to him. what I want to say here its an observation I have made from the beginning of the process, and you may say its a free and fair exercise- yes I agreed it was Free and fair but not credible to me.
my strongest reason was during the final stage of the recruitment process, they call it interview but I see it as just a mere naija factor to pretend that the process is credible.
1. is it a credible interview where u were asked about your date of birth only? or u were asked about where u schooled? and then tell you to go.
2 have you wondered why dragnet didn't conduct the interview themselves?
3. I know of a frnd who wasn't shortlisted even for the CBT talk more of the interview but he's preparing for camp now bcs he is successful in the final list.
4. me and my frnd have am excellent grade from d university in geography and we met all the criteria but weren't successful. and the worse is no one in our L.G.A was given appointment. where is the federal character tin?
there are lots of points I can give to discredit this recruitment but our media houses are just like our greedy politicians who only communicate wat favours them. finally I'll like to say I've gotten a good job just yesterday glory be to God. and I'm also in pains bcs I know of many that deserve this NIS appointment bt were overlooked bcs they have no one. Nigeria will change only if the change starts from the least position in government offices to d presidency. happy training to all successful ones. i see that some Nigerians are cry babies, instead of you and ur village friend to go back to d drawing board and find what u did wrong , u r here antagonizing a transparent process. First of all I know 2 people who got d employment my nephew and a friend. Non of them got it tru "connection". It was simply by meeting the criteria and passing the CBT. Quick advice, go get urself some GMAT past questions and/or SHL questions , study dem, get used to them and u must pass ur next abtitude. That's how some of u we're saying that pushcv.com were failing you for not paying 1k for CV. If u can't accept that you don't know, then you can't learn. #IKnowNotWhat - Socrates |

i uploaded my CV and while doing that, i was given advice on what to do and what to avoid. so i see nothing bad in there. BTW before the first stage it was clearly stated that the program was free except you wanted them to write a CV for you. which they have just done so i see no reason what so ever to be wary about it.. as for me its just fun and learning for now and if they give us jobs in the end good if not good too for the experience. hammer2010: Just thought it wise and necessary to draw our attention to the on-going Push-CV recruitment/selection/elite programe quest.
Firstly, I must admit that I am the kind person who always critically look at situations, no matter who is involved. Even if the said situation involves my own pastor in the church, I dont just take it in hook, line, and sinker, without firstly examining it critically and objectively, in order to decipher the merits or otherwise.
Now when the Push-CV elite program advert was making the rounds on almost every social platform I came accross, by intuition, I initially had my doubts about the credibility of the program ( is there really any free launch in this part of the world? What is more, the adverts where comparable to that on the dreaded ebola virus). But then, I as always, relunctantly gave in to preasure from reasons and peers, and applied.
To make it short, I have since passed the initial stage (I believe it so, atleast for now) and proceeded to the second stage where you need to key in your educational information and the likes.
My attention was particularly drawn to the part where I was suppose to upload a CV. There were two options for this category: upload already created CV (recommended for professionals), and order a CV from us (conveniently recommended for the large army of students, Pre-NYSC, Post NYSC). Out of curiosity, I clicked on the second option just to be sure that I understood what they meant by the word "order." You already know the rest.
Now, that is the first part where I am joining issues with those behind this program. Come to think of how they took their time to give very compelling reasons why you should order a CV from them, got me thinking. Wouldnt it have been ideal if they gave tips (to those who for one reason or the other can not draft a good CV) on how best to prepare a good CV, rather than just cook a CV for a candidate?
Since its a program designed to make an unemployed person employable, how is this going to be possible if one (those who cant draft a good CV) doesnt even know the very fundamentals of a good CV drafting?
May be I am being unnecesarilly antagonistic here, but I still think it wont cost us a dime to punder on these few critical points befor going to pay a thousand naira to anyone.

It is the first time in the history of the Nigerian state that an American president has directly addressed Nigerians in the run up to a presidential election. After-all, America knows
All we need to do is to use our PVC to remove this corrupt and wicked administration on March 28.

But, uncountable deaths after and an election drawing near, our ogas gave finally decided to take the lives of the masses seriously it took a lot of convincing any about 3 address of the general assembly of the UN by mr president GEJ. before Nigeria was allowed to use the kind of force they r using now including air raid and all, it would have been counted as crime against humanityif it had been done like this before now. thats why wer going so hard on em, nd the fact that chad and Cameroon are holding their border tight so the BH boys dont run there and come back after military ops. so u c its not about election cos GEJ has been meeting with the presidents of this country for over a year now to draw up this plans and until he accused the chadian president openly of BH complicity , they (chad) refused to help and UN restricted the NA on the type of weapons to be used and the rules of engagement... treating them (BH) like mere civilians |

[s] GenBuhari: Are we being deceived?
Some questions:
How can we be certain from the video that they are pounding "Boko Haram" as OP stated?
Are we sure that what we are watching is not our enemies colluding with Nigerian troops to clear our territory.
So the federal army of Nigeria communicate with each other in a language other than English during battles?
Why does the scene of battle seem so laid back that people can be talking to the camera and almost nobody is taking cover?
Can we be certain the video is of the town that the OP said was captured, and not another town which would later be announced as being under BH or Chadian control?
Who authorised CJTF to accompany soldiers into battle, and why are they not equipped with protective uniform?
Why do rag tag Boko Haram have quality military uniforms (narrator claims that military clothes are being taken from BH) whilst our military have soldiers without uniform?
Why no film of captured or dead Boko Haram ?
Why Nigeria going into battle with untrained and apparently unarmed civilians travelling in bright coloured vehicles (not camouflaged) is that how a professional army operates?.
Could this video have been staged?
Could it be that the so called CTF are really Boko Haram members? seeing as some are even wearing Boko Haram uniforms (although the video narrative claims it was taken from Boko Haram).
Who starts dressing in their enemies clothes during a war?
A lot does not add up.
BTW why hasn't anybody witnessed any large Nigerian military convoys heading to the North around the 14th Febuhari ? After all were we not told the entire military would be engaged in a war against insurgency for 6 weeks starting Febuhari 14th?.
If we are using all the military personnel in the nation, why do we need to have so many CTF in battle ground ? [/s][s][/s] u are a big fool... ok u support the opposition party thus the febuhari BS but.. but is the opposition against pdp or the NA because i think dat line of who they r opposing is really blurry... |

ShowYourCertificate: Is Mathematics A Compulsory Requirement To Be Commissioned Into The Military?
I ask this question because Buhari's result have been released to the public and in the result he had an F9 in Mathematics.
Military Officers are meant to be knowledgeable in quantification of military hardwares and other items. For example, a colonel should know the difference between 4 armoured tanks and 1 fighter jet in terms of weight difference, volume difference, etc. The knowledge of such difference will enable the colonel plan the logistics in the transport of such hardwares from one point to another.
Also mathematical terms such a Bearing, Longitude and Lattitude, Projectiles, Trigonometry, Calculus, Matrices, Lagrange Multiplier, Statistics, etc. are common terminologies used in the military. Someone with an F9 in mathematics will definitely not be able to use such mathematical terminologies with dexterity during military warfare.
So I wonder why someone with an F9 in mathematics should be commissioned into the Military.
Perhaps that isn't Buhari's Result after all. I say this because that result appears to be fake and Buhari hasn't made any statement accepting the result as published by the Principal of his almamater. I hereby call on Buhari to either accept or reject the result as published. If he rejects it, he should do us a favour and show us his certificate (#BuhariShowYourCertificate). But If he accepts it, it means our Military actually enlisted Buhari despite failing Mathematics. If they did, was it the right thing to do?
Lets discuss Mr Integrity obviously got there via corruption. |

FrancisDiote: According to a report by cityrovers..com Don Jazzy is working on a new song in which he is dissing former label mate D Banj. In the song Don Jazzy is said to have confirmed rumours making the round that D Banj is broke by calling him a broke dude. See the full article
Don Jazzy we gathered just produced a song for his younger brother titled ‘Oga Titus’ and those who have heardthe song say that it is a direct attack on D’Banj. The song also confirmed the rumour in town that the ‘Eja Nla’ is broke. Cityrovers..com gathered that Don Jazzy might have capitalized on the news that took over the social media recently that D’Banj is enmeshed in debt. In the new song, it was said that ‘Now Money Don Lost’ confirming the perceived state of D’Banj’s bad state of finances.
Repeatedly, Don Jazzy and brother took swipe at D’Banj calling him ‘Oga Titus’ instead of ‘Eja Nla’. The duo even went further to ‘yab’ Tonto Dike because of her association with D’Banj lately. Part of the lyrics is produced below..
“Oga Titus is too pompous, you wan try us, now money don lost, boys are very big boys, you don Bleep up, you wan form boss, kasala don burst, where is oga Titus You take night bus to come Lagos, you go campus, girl are very surplus, you no hint us, you wan com flex, now money don loss…….
