Stateoforigin: Which population are you talking about oga? Is it the population of the entire north or the one in Bauchi? Cos I'm very sure Bauchi state is not populated more than my Nasarawa State. If not for quota system, Bauchi state should not have more than 10 LGs You don't have to understand |

nedekid: By the time you factor cost of transportation, cost of paying all the fees on the road, ie local gov, food and forestry, health people, police etc. The paying for ground at mile 12 for paying those that will sell it for you. You go see say kaki no be leather. The first hussle I did with my savings after nysc way back 1996 and after listening to one motivational speaker was to travel with one man to go buy yam after doing all my calculations on paper and seeing huge profit margin. Omo, I lost my money, I did not bath for 3 days. (LONG STORY) You don't just dable into such hussle because you see price difference. Respect people that are currently doing it. Exactly o just exactly that's what i was telling some folks there. the most easiest part of the business is the talking n profit calculation part |

2sexycom: Lol.... I didn't say u should buy and sell o. I said, help people buy for a fee and send to their location.
Meaning, your own job is just collect money, add your own fees, go to the market with what buyer gave u, buy the onions and send it to them.
You are more like a errand service in this case. You get your profit instantly as soon as you collect the money from buyer.
This will require you to make contacts though A good/nice idea thanks so much |

I mistakenly clicked on the confirm button due to my phone screen problem. I was having 5k239 balance and was hoping to cash out before I decided to check if playing Ronaldo score(2.15 odd) with the extra 239 will make the money 5k5.
Please what can I do to cancel the game. I just contacted bet9ja on Twitter. Help me guys The cash out option would be there tho reduced but still better than loosing it all or use faith carry am anything fit happen |

Y'all should know business is really not only about the profit you'd make but also weighing ur odds. Fine I should transport down south n sell, how easy would it be to transport? how quick would it sell? who can I trust in dealing business with? these are one amongst questions to ask But that's by the way, everyone got their diff plans n biz ideas but me I'm tryna use the high population of the state and the boarding Northern state to my advantage |

Y'all are not getting the sarcasm, I mean life here is cool like cool except the lingering Christians/muslim beef. not only onions but cost of living to luckydion: this onion can cost more than 2k in Abuja. Even in Suleja Niger St. where some run to get cheaper items, you can hardly buy this with 2k base on current mkt price.
Come to Proper reasoning of your interest, How can u beginning to love a state for Only Price of Onion? How is Life there as an intending youth? |

You can still take bike for #30. Don't talk too much bro, Got a nice one room and parlor all tiled and personal toilet with shower rushing virtually water everywhere and well painted house for 45k yearly, those that got a 3bed room flat got at 150k/year in a well developed estate o. I love the state tho, good roads, street light everywhere at night and minimal cost of food The state is cool just heard some rumours of Christians/muslims lingering beef |

No sir/ma I'm not having any form of poverty mentality... Right now all I can do is shake my head in pity for you being a subliterate Neanderthals who don't only having problems reading but lacks every iota of proper Education cuz you ain't Dumb or lacks proper Education you'd see I was surprised at the price and I never said I'm here cuz of onions. I paid n worked my service to Bauchi cuz only myself knows what I'm looking for n if you're not cool with it take a pill or whateva people drink these days to calm frustration |

VillageHead: my son,
if you are thinking that serving in a NAF Base would boost your chances of being recruited, conscripted or absorbed in the Air Force you are wasting your time. Many that passed through Military primary and secondary schools are not even considered these days. Only God can help you.
But if you want to go and establish a working contacts for tomorrow it is possible by His grace and hard work.
God will never come down to help you but will do so using human beings as His vessels.
Just pray and ask God for His assistance. I'll do just the above, thanks so much for the words of encouragement man |

I'll be brief with my perturbed situation atm and I hope I get every advice I can get here
Lemme start by saying I studied Wildlife and Ecotourism at osu and along the line of IT I fell in love with one of the Nigerian Force when we were on IT at the MM int'l Airport and ever since then I've always wished to be a Force guy to. I finished and had to process my service to Bauchi cuz I've always loved to serve in the North. but Bfr then we got an Advice during IT at the airport on how we can go bout serving at any Airport in our respective state of posting and that involves some letters we were given then, copies of our Airport duties and stuff. The Airport staff we worked with said it'll help boost our chance of serving in the Airport
But that's by the way, After I've grown the love for the Force profession, I'm looking at working my service to NAF base here in Bauchi if it'll help boost my CV during my Application for the job after service. i don't mind if I'm not paid there but an added advantage to my CV is actually what I'm looking/focused on. Tho my mom's junior brother is a Wing commander in the NAF but my life's school of thought is to rather Put hope on God than Man so I'm really not expecting much influence from him tho we're close even as a Family. and I'll still inform him of my decision.
So I really need every Advice I can get so my service over there wouldn't just be a waste of time without really doing anything To Help boost my CV plus my course is really not a professional course ion know if I'll still get a chance in my application with my course of study being a near irrelevant one. |
NYSC › Re: I Wish Someone Told Me This Before My NYSC by Ablemed: 8:42am On Nov 16, 2020 |
freeman67: It should boost your CV. If you work your way there and relate well with everyone. Ensure you get yourself in the good books of senior officers there; you will get good references. Serving with them will also expose you to their ways of doing thing that could prepare you before hand. Depending on your course of study, if you read a professional course and your area of study is needed your display of efficiency, effectiveness and readiness to learn may also favour.
The most important thing is that have set your goal. Work towards it, have faith and believe in God that it is possible except if he has a better option for you. Thanks xoxo much bro for the Advice but I did not study a professional course Infact my course might be termed worthless in this part of our world but it's lucrative in countries like Australia, US that got regards for Wildlife n it's resources |

pls my own question is, actually I have an intention of joining the Force. NAF to be precise, so I'm working at influencing my service to Bauchi so I can serve at the NAF base there either teaching or any Dept I'm required to work
Do you think it'll help boost my CV in the application for the NAF recruitment?? |
