jl115:Idk to be honest at this point to see what I can learn but if social democracy is capitalism with welfare so be it |
vedaxcool:There's a difference help was stopped from being administered how can you compare this to every Nigerian when there were people there to help him |
So we've become a fascist state killing all who oppose the government unless something happens quickly Buhari will likely be able to run for a third term without much opposition |
Hueman:The government can make laws to improve the standard of living for citizens and the so called bourgeois are often people who worked hard to get where they got or at least it was the case look at Odutola, Awolowo, Ojukwu you think they inherited their wealth? Theyn worked hard for it and for this socialist government to label them bourgeois and take away their wealth makes no sense whatsoever. What makes sense is the government setting minimum wage standards and a specific standard that must be kept when it comes to safe work spaces then the governemtn sets up free healthcare, free education, homelessness shelters etc. To make life better that's all that is needed this whole controlling supply and demand doesn't make sense And I think you need to learn what Fascism is Norway is as far away from Fascism as possible |
Hueman:Who lost in the end? And consider the British had less numbers but better technology that's why they won in the end |
jl115:Basically |
Hueman:And how is social democracy anything like Fasciscm it's literally socialism with capitalist aspects and isn't as strict on private companies in this whole socialist society my grandfathers business would have never succeded because the so called people must control means of supply and demand where in reality all that is needed is workers unions and fair working facilities and wages which can be easily arranged by simple working rights laws there's no reason for the government to get involved in the private sector whatsoever which is why i'm a social democrat and not a socialist or communist the private sector should be allowed to thrive |
Hueman:People that think that our opinions on others should just be objective and not based on any previous bias are the reason Africa got colonized and not because the west had superior weapons and technology? ![]() |
Hueman:What is wrong with you? Who hurt you like honestly |
Hueman:China is working in good faith how? They took control of Zambia's water company, cellphone company and police force and they set up a military base in Djibouti China are not your friend and why are China allowing their citizens to practice illegal mining in African countries? There's no western company working illegally or at least not to the same degree as Chinese companies are. |
Hueman:Why're you acting like Afrikaners weren't arrested with Nelson Mandela in the 60s? Not all are bad or racist as you try to make it seem same way not all Nigerians are 419 scammers or drug dealers but if you're judging Afrikaners in this way they have every right to judge us the same way and there's no argument you can make against them. |
Hueman:Who says all of them are extremelt racist? I just talked to one today and they were perfectly fine |
Hueman:Search it then One dollar = 1182 Korean won One dollar = 570 Naira Okay not the Chinese one just double checked but are you saying Korea is poor because their currency is weak? |
Hueman:Bring evidence there have been multiple occasions over the past few years where Canadian companies have stalled operations when asked and the difference is the Canadian companies have licensing to do so the Chinese companies are illegal should the government not be able to stop foreign illegal mining if they're that good why is it only Western countries that go through the effort of getting licensing these same Chinese are destroying the environment with their illegal mining in Ekiti, Osun and Zamfara as well as in many parts of Ghana but you wouldn't acknowledge this because you don't think objectively |
Hueman:The naira is stronger then both the Korean and Chinese currencies the weakness of the currency doesn't matter |
Kazikazi:How is it through corruption? They applied for visa then applied for permanent citizenship brought the necessary documents, paid the necessary fees and got the document they need to stay in the country nothing illegal whatsoever. |
Hueman:You do realize that Canadian and Australian companies also complied why is it that your pro anything leftist even if a capitalist nation is doing the same you need to have some middle ground and be objective in your opinions |
jl115:Not about the politicians but their followers |
jl115:But even us legal immigrants with permanent citizenship are being harassed by these voters most Nigerians will likely have to leave soon |
donprinyo:How am I part of the mess if i've never supported those that put us in the mess how does that even make sense? |
donprinyo:I never supported APC and PDP and my contribution to the nation habe been greater then yours. |
jl115:I'm praying that ActionSA don't win but i've seen a lot more of their posters then those of DA and EFF but if they win it would have a negative impact on us Nigerians in the country. |
jl115:I mean they might ANC is dying so it's between EFF and DA for now if only Julius Malema wasn't so keen on increasing immigration then South Africans wouldn't be so against his government |
Hueman:And I have family members living in Nigeria right now as we speak who don't believe that Nigeria has the most people in poverty in fact the world bank made a tweet and I even posted it on the old thread and they said that the numbers for Nigeria are 89 million and not 100 million as people on this forum have wrongly claimed and apart from that fact the poverty in India is way worse then in Nigeria the amount of poor people in India is about 134 million people so yes Nigeria isn't the poverty capital of the world the nation may be poor but we aren't the poorest in the world |
donprinyo:A hope that hasn't brought the country and quality form of infrastructure whatsoever? Guy you're a fool PDP is not the solution |
Hueman:Life expectancy isn't the sole metric for standard of living there's literacy, gdp per capita, doctors per 1000 people, standard of hospitald and education, water access, electricity access and quality of supply etc. You only using one metric and going with it shows your lack of knowledge when it comes to data collection and the standard of living in general North Korea is not a good example for any African country to follow you cannot discount the progress of capitalism rather we should see where capitalism was right and where it was wrong replace the places where it got it wrong and replace them with systems of socialism which is why the ideology of social democracy is best in my opinion your view is jsut anti capitalist no matter what and for whatever reason anti Nigeria in all shapes and forms whether there's progress or not you don't care just life expectancy like it's the only metric of progress and development. |
rvp2018:I am arguing with data there's no way Nigeria has more people below the poverty line then India or China it's simply impossible Nigeria's middle class alone is 60 million, add on the upper class, upper middle class and the lower class and that should be well over 50 million people my estimate for people below the poverty line would be 70-90 million and in India the number would be much larger at 100-200 million people and do they count children in the poverty line system? Because Almajiris are children and as far as i'm concerned they only count the wealth of parents, and because someone is an Almajiri doesn't mean their parents are below the poverty line it simply means their parents want their learning islamic education and not western education but in some cases it is because they're poor but not always. And what position do you have to speak on how my parents spend their money you need to mind your own business because you know nothing about my standard of education my views on data concerning my country and my views on politics don't represent my educational status |
Hueman:You really believe that Nigeria is the poverty capital of the world? You know that western media can lie and that they're often inaccurate and you believe they lie about the situation in North Korea but don't take a secoond guess on their news on Nigeria? Nigeria's middle class alone is over 60 million people do you really believe that there is no lower class above the poverty line but below the definition of middle class? And this lower or working class indefinitely numbers more then 40 million and for you to even think that China and India have less people below the poverty line then Nigeria does is frankly amazing to me because it should just be common sense that it isn't the case but continue listening to everything without taking a second thought at the case on ground. And do you really think that there aren't Nigerians who can afford housing in estates like what's wrong with you. You sound like the average ignorant American or European can those Africans even afford food, can those Africans even afford water, can those Africans even afford housing. For someone who claims to be a radical leftist African your views on Africa are extremely western and quite literally outlandish and weird |
donprinyo:Yes i'm lazy and ungrateful for wanting an end to mediocrity? see how foolish your views are i've shown you that PDP was bad and isn't the way forward and you call me lazy what does that have to do with my work ethic? Abeg be quiet there |
