Innosson has to step up else they will get run out of business by these new guys. They dont have the priviledge of being the only one anymore.

This is the time to cement your market with adverts, purchase plans (a sort of mortage) allow people come test drive for free, run promos. Change their entire market strategy.

And for fans of Innosson motors, drop your tribalism else, watch the company crash cos people will conviniently avoid the brand cos of bad publicity
forget it, adverts or no advert, innosson can't compete with Toyota motors in Nigeria. elizade motors just want FG to continue to use Toyota as their official car, that is why they established the assembly plant in lagos. the new govt policy as made it mandatory for government officials to use cars assembly or produce in Nigeria. elizade motors don't want loose market.

Politics › Kinsfield To Commence Gold Production In Kogi By Q4 2017 by abu12(op): 12:59pm On Feb 24, 2017
http://kogireports.com/kinsfield-to-commence-gold-production-in-kogi-by-q4-2017/

An extractive firm based in Abuja and the United States,
Kinsfield Energy, has unveiled its plans to commence the
production of gold in one of its gold fields in Yagba West
area of Kogi State in the last quarter of 2017.

The Chief Executive Officer of Kinsfield Energy, Adekunle
Akintola, said in a statement yesterday that the company
had completed geological, geophysical and geochemical
acquisition of data and evaluation to cover the gold
prospect.

According to him, the evaluations have shown a common
occurrence of the prospects at a commercial level.

“Drilling for further confirmation of the commerciability of
the prospects and volumetric is expected to commence in
the 2nd quarter of 2017. Kinsfield Energy has conducted
exploration on her two gold fields in the Yagba west area of
Kogi State in Nigeria for over five years,” he added.

Akintola further stated that the extractive firm is also
exploring for gold in the prolific Atakunmosa West area of
Osun State, stressing that the firm is also prospecting for
gold and diamond in the Tonkolili and Kunu districts of Sierra
Leone.

“The anticipated commencement of gold production in the
Yagba west area of Kogi in the last quarter of 2017 is
expected to project Kogi State as a gold ore producing state
and Nigeria as a revenue earner in solid minerals sector
which is in line with the economic diversification efforts of
the federal government,” he explained.

“We have done geological mapping, geophysical survey,
geochemical sampling and contracting core drilling of the
gold fields. Our vision is to pursue an aggressive policy of
acquisition and development of gold and bitumen fields
across Africa,” he added.

He explained that gold mining is a lucrative business next to
petroleum, stressing also that it is internationally priced.
He pledged that his company is committed to utilising the
extractive opportunities in Africa and North America.

Kinsfield Energy, which operates in Abuja and Houston in the
United States, had earlier secured two exploratory licenses
for gold fields in Yagba West area of Kogi State.

Politics › Kogi NLC To Mark 1 Year Anniversary Of Workers’ Screening Exercise by abu12(op): 7:14am On Feb 22, 2017
…Screening exercise is more of elimination by substitution.
The leadership of labour unions in Kogi State will hold a
world press conference tomorrow to mark the one year
anniversary of workers’ verification exercise in the state.

This decision is contained in a bulletin signed by leaders of
Kogi state chapters of Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Trade
Union Congress, TUC and the Joint Negotiating Council,
JNC, and other unions.

The union leaders described the one year old screening
exercise as an obnoxious policy of a tyrannic administration
aimed at total extinction of the civil service system in Kogi
state.

“We say no to any further attempt to scrutinize files of
workers who are already cleared. All cleared workers must
remain cleared and holy.

Therefore, further action of
government to move files of cleared staff to government
house fr further screening or other sinister intention is
unacceptable to labour, because of earlier experience of
workers’ files brought before the review committee can no
longer be located or files being destroyed by water in
government house are deliberate intention of government to
screen out workers”, the bulletin reads.

Labour, describing the unending screening exercise as
‘elimination by substitution’, called on workers to be
assertive when they face members of the review committee
especially Mr. Yakubu Okala, Mr. Ododo and Hajia Ladi
Ibrahim.

“We are using Wednesday, 22nd February, 2017 to
commiserate with the families of our members who lost their
lives in the course of the endless screening exercise”.

Politics › Don’t Build Castles In The Air, Emir Of Kano Counsels Kogi Gov by abu12(op): 2:44pm On Feb 09, 2017
http://kogireports.com/dont-build-castles-in-the-air-emir-of-kano-counsels-kogi-gov/

…I am not happy with what am hearing about you, how do you
ensure security when you are not paying workers salaries?

Emir Muhammadu Sanusi of Kano has urged Kogi State
Governor Yahaya Bello not to build the castles in the air and
advised against unfulfilled promises.

The former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria said this
during a ceremony where Kogi Governor was given an
award by the Inspector General of Police in recognition of his
qualities and his efforts at improving security in the state.

After congratulating Gov. Bello on the award, the Emir said;
“I am not happy with what am hearing about you, how do
you ensure security when you are not paying workers
salaries ?”

“I am here because the Inspector General of Police, the man
who performed well in Kano, invited me. As a traditional
ruler, I don’t embrace political gathering”, he said.

“My advice to his excellency is to remember that to whom
much is given, much is expected. For all of us in positions of
authority, whether governor, emirs, police commissioners,
the president and chairman of local government, we must
remember that over 170 million Nigerians were created by
God and when God chooses us and put us in these
positions, it is not because he does not love those not given
the position.

“In fact, it is because he loves them that we were appointed
to serve them. The responsibilities come with the realization
that we are there not for ourselves but for those who are not
there. This is the first test of leadership and that is what
public service is about.

“If there is anything that has destroyed this country, it is
because people are thinking that offices are for themselves
and their families but it is not. We were given offices for
those who are not in office; we were given office to not
sleep so that they may sleep. We were given office so that
you can go hungry so that they may eat.

“You were given office so that you stay awake fearful of
what may happen to them so that they may sleep in peace.
People who think that they are in office to enjoy, to have
sound sleep, to have a comfortable life are the worst leaders
ever.

“So, I say to the governor and myself and to all of us who
have a responsibility, the prophet of Islam has one Hadith
about leadership that is very frightening.

A Hadith of the
Prophet (SAW) states that leadership is a trust and on the
day of judgment, it is going to be a source of humiliation
and regrets. Everyone must be aware that there will be a day
an account will be given of the privileges of office.”
Politics › Re: Melaye Thanks Buhari, Osinbajo, Saraki For N21 Billion Road Construction In Kogi by abu12:
The faceoff between the Kogi State government and the
senator representing Kogi West senatorial district, Dino
Melaye, got messier on Sunday as the state government
said the people of the senatorial district had not benefitted
from his representation.

The government said Melaye’s activities in the upper
chamber of the national assembly were constituting
disgrace to the government and the people of the state.

The government, in its position made known by the special
adviser to the governor, Pius Kolawole, faulted Melaye’s
alleged ethnic colouration being given to his attacks on the
state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.

It accused the senator of trying to create religious tension in
the state, saying the governor is somebody that has respect
for religious institutions.

Kolawole said it was surprising that Melaye, who is
supposed to be representing the interest of the people of
Kogi west was busy fighting for a “selfish and egocentric”
cause at the expense of burning national desires from his
people.
He said, “The people of Kogi west ha e not enjoyed any
dividend of good representation fro Dino since he was sent
to the national assembly, all he does is to engage in useless
fight with colleagues and associates.

“We ask Dino, what bas happened to the huge constituency
allowances hd has received since be went fo the senate?

Where is the quality representation he promised his people.
Did the people of Kogi west send Dino to the senate to
become a bodyguard or a Muhammed Ali of some sort?”

He said the governor remained the number one leader of the
party in the state, adding that no gimmick by Dino and his
cohorts could change the situation.

However, Melaiye in his reaction, urged Bello to come out
publicly and deny the allegations levelled against him
instead of sending his “kindergarten” aides to speak for him,
adding that Bello should account for the N220 billion he had
so for collected in the past one year.

The senator said he regretted the roles he played in ensuring
that Bello became the governor of the state after the demise
of Alhaji Abubakar Audi.

He said, “Even though I am currently regretting my role in
enthroning him (Bello) as Governor amidst controversies,
Yahaya Bello before the Primary election had no ten million
naira in his account.”

“I had to personally go to some personalities to source for
funds for Yahaya Bello against the supplementary election.
There are a lot of role I played that made Bello Governor,
which I won’t say for now.”

“Time to speak out more will come, so the entire world will
define between myself and Bello.

“According to the general proverb, he who seeks for equity,
must come out with clean hands, let him (Bello), go and pay
workers their salaries and suspend the unending screening,
because the four- week ultimatum to do so still stands,” he
Stressed
