it's all politics Philip is a bigwig in Edo politics he may even deliver more in his own zone, than Obaseki will in Edo south (which can swing towards either Ize-iyamu or Obaseki)... the fear now is Edo central which may feel cheated but Apc are willing to risk it as they've shown over time that you can't please them they would rather dine with PDP than Apc

I was actually a witness to this so theres no room for them say them talk. I graduated from a different university in the northern part of the country in 2009 and today, I decided to pay an old friend a visit here in the college of health science (UNILORIN). By the way, today, the final year undergraduate students from the department of physiology had a brief seminar presentation on a particular course and during the course of the presentation, some students were caught making noise by the lecturer and he asked them all to stand up and remain standing as punishment. as if that wasn't enough, it was this dudes' turn to present but he wasn't well dressed.

Funny boy i must say but guess what, the lecturer had to punish him by telling him to stand on the table and face the whole class (like they do in secondary schools) . Yesterday, it was the story of lecturer seizing a student's footware ( I'm actually aware of this development). I think these barbaric act should stop but what do you expect when 15-20 year olds are being admitted into the university? They say, UNILORIN IS A GLORIFIED SECONDARY SCHOOL and these days, its really proving to be true.

Of all the things you saw, it was this you could only pinpoint ? you didn't notice that there was standby generator all through the period of ur stay from 8 -- 4pm ? that student presented with projectors ? that there was access to WiFi ? that there were some other good lecturers who may have had class in that physiology lab ? you even went as far as putting the face of the boy on social media without concealing it ? just to do what ? Paint Unilorin as a glorified secondary school ? which school did you graduate from ? oh it is not worthy of mention Right Northern University ko, Southern University ni

on a more serious note, it actually calls for a deep reflection of the fact that we've really not lived up to expectations as a Nation, even within Africa. We need policies that would drive our institutions to match with the best in the world. I for one appreciate what my school stands for, even during the period of bad leadership and misuse of power , it was visionary. And I know things will only get better at, the better by far University in the presence of visionary leaders who are not carried away with "Yam-eating". so help us God. Amen #betterbyfar #Unilorin
