I don't agree in giving beggars any money, when you do this you are making them even more dependent & less willing to put forth any effort. Yes, there's an exception to giving, however it applies to very few. There'RE people I have seen with even the most challenging physical handicap and they manage to thrive in society successfully. I'm of the opinion that our culture actually encourages an attitude of dependency for whatever reason, why should anyone whom can function have their hands out When we stop giving to the quote on quote beggars, they will put themselves to work. GIVE A MAN A FISH AND YOU FEED FOR ONE DAY, TEACH HIM TO FISH AND YOU FEED HIM FOR EVER!!!!

Just want to know if its possible under normal circumstances for a man who is very comfortable, i mean comfortable in all aspect of it at 28 to still remain single at 38 for no just reason. If the person has enough education, good background, good job, good exposure, good looks and so so so so and decide to remain single do you think there may be a secret reason behind it?

Ayomifull, as a male not being married @ a certain age isn't a red flag in my humble opinion. I've a couple of male & female friends that are successful in their 30's that aren't married & have no kids. Some are single by choice & others are not, for whatever reason. I personally think the older we get in age the more we are set in our ways as humans and it's sometimes just less complicated when you don't have another persons emotion involved.

Also keep in mind that not being married, doesn't mean that you don't have a steady relationship or kid/s. Marriage to me is just the official union of 2 people!

There's not an age requirement to settle down & be married. Both parties involved have to be ready, even it means marrying at an older age! We need to stop letting society & dictate what's right or wrong for us as individuals. I think the poster is was referring to the Nigeria's new senate president! Abi she wan toast the fine boy!! lol

This a very intereresting subject. I don't think any one of us can authoritatively speak unless you have walked in the shoes of these girls. I'm not condoning the behaviour at all, but whom am I to point fingers I can only speak on what I've seen from afar & from the observations that I have seen in movies & speaking with my girlfriend. What is a girl supposed to do when her own parents cannot afford to pay her school fees but YET expect her to graduate college!! She's facing pressure from all sides, mr. Lecturer is in one corner hounding her for sex in exchange for passing credits, her sibling are probably calling her asking for some money, I even read on this board about some parents coming to school to get money from their daughters!! (Very Sad). I believe everyone of us seeks a certain level of security i.e financial, emotional, spiritual etc.

Sometimes it's a matter of the female just wanting to belong, wanting the finer things of life that she see's on her friends / clique, lack of self worth cuz she feels that the material stuff is what makes her.
The greatest gift that we as humans have been given is the God the power to "CHOOSE". There's a seperation of state from religion. I don't think the EFCC should probe church's unless given a GOOD reason, I'm by no means saying that churches are above the law but the EFCC could channel their limited resource to other areas. Here in the U.S I have never heard of the dept of justice deciding to investigate churches unless a church starts getting political , weird (cult-like) or a whistle-blower makes a complaint. As much as I'm pro-EFCC we as a Nation need to be very careful with the power given to them by the constitution, if it gets too powerful we are the same people that will complain cuz they can probe anyone without going thru the proper channel to get authorization.
