yawn!!!!!!!! Let his actions speak, we've all heard this before, please spare us the ca-ca, |
That's a tricky one ma guy. When it comes to dating for me, one of my rules are I do not date anyone that close to a friend i.e sista cuz if the relationship doesn't work out it throws a monkey wrench in my frienship with my buddy. Just me though, everyone is different. I think you should tell your friend rather than him finding out by himself, Good luck |
I'm very happy to say I'm 32yrs old, feel like I'm in my 20's but posses wisdom beyond my age ![]() |
Yes is the answer to question #1, you can purchase your BB Bold from an alternative sources & still use the BIS on any GSM carrier , |
Any Blackberry device running an operating-system (OS) 4.5 or above will allow for viewing/ editing of msft word & excel my friend, |
habibi777:Where are u located? You might want to contact your wireless carrier to make sure they have the BlackBerry data plan properly provisioned on your cellphone account. Good luck! |
Yeah but he can access email and internet. He has the service books. The problem is the MSC - Message Service Center. Since he contacted ZAIN and they said the phone would not store the MSC, then next step is to use the desktop manager, assuming he has installed that software, to reload the handset software version for the phone. This would fix the glitch and then he could manually re-enter the MSC number to fix the SMS problem. ZAIN will have the MSC number he needs.
The BB desktop mgr has absolutely nothing to do with his inability to send sms messages. All the desktop does is allow a BB device to sync or exchange info with a PC/ laptop by either backing-up information from the BB, updating the devices software, lnstalling 3rd party apps, switching devices, loading multimedia files e.t.c FYI A mobile carrier that does not sell a particular BB model cannot provide their customers a service book for a particular model of BB they don't sell because the service book which corrects the internal settings of particular of BB model bases on the provider network will not be available on a carriers network unless that model of BB is sold by the particular carrier. |
Will you pay my data usage? Don't forget, even though its an embedded application, you are still using bandwidth access. It's not like the PIN transmission which is routed via RIM bacckbone network. Data on BB Messenger is considered rate traffic.
Blackberry messenger which uses the BB PIN for chatting purposes uses minimum data. I've used BB's for a very longtime & currently use it in chatting with my woman visiting 9ja at the moment plus I've friends in 9ja that use BB's messenger to chat with me. It's uses data from your monthly BB data subscription & if you don't feel like chatting via the BB messenger in-order to minimize your data use that's okay. Cheers! |
Hey fellow BB users on nairaland, let's chat via the BlackBerry messenger, |
couple of things u can try. 1) Go to options from your home-screen, then select advanced options, highlight the Host Routing Table then press the menu button & register. You should get a network registration message. Pull ur battery on the storm & wait for about 30 secs before re-inserting & wait for phone to reboot then try sending a txt. 2) I would say resend your service book but since Zain doesn't sell the BB storm they'll not have the service book available on their network to send to you. |
Hi fellow blackberry users, how about we all exchange out blackberry PIN #'s for chatting amongst ourselves anywhere in world as long as you have a blackberry data plan. My fiancee is currently visiting 9ja & I was in abuja a few weeks back & made sure her BB was set-up on the mtn BB data plan & we chat all day long using the BB messenger. We send txt's, pictures, files & 10 second voice notes at no additional cost beyond the N5K for the mtn data plan. The BB messenger is a great capability, I also have some friends in 9ja & all over the world & we also use the BB messenger as a way to communicate & its instantaneous network allowing, not to mention the productivity side of being able to have up to 10 email accts being forwarded to your BB on the go. I use a BB 9630 Tour currently & luv everything BB. |
Interesting read, I've never figured out why a political office holder in 9ja needs as many staff members as they do. They have a special adviser for so many things it makes absolute no sense. Yet you don't see what the heck they are advising on. I've never held a political office in 9ja or anywhere else, but If you had to compare a governor in 9ja & one in the states where I reside & their retinue of aides it would blow your mind. I still can't grasp why our public officials are so wasteful of our resources, I'm not saying that there's anything wrong in traveling but when it becomes unnecessary then it needs to be curtailed. I was just in abuja a few weeks ago & it blew my mind to see the homes/ properties that are owned by both serving & past office holders both civilian & military. |
I'll absolutely marry another west african, if na there luv carry me go. The woman I'm planning on marrying is hausa & I'm Ibo (WAZOBIA) lol, fortunately both of our families are cool with it. luv has no boundaries and I feel for the people that set boundaries for themselves when it comes to luv cuz they are missing out a loooooooooooot |
Ladies and gentlemen, the poster of this topic just asked a question that calls for dialogue. Maybe you don't agree with the way the question was worded however it still doesn't change the fact of the question. And for all my bible slangers on naira-land quoting the bible left & right, left's just answer this question without us getting religous for a moment. If you had access to the same resources like the pastor, would you use it in the same manner looking at everything going on around you? If you answer otherwise then I rest my case but if u answer in the affirmative then more power to you. Nigerians have to be the most religous people I've ever met & I'm nigerian myself, but I think sometimes we really need back up for a moment and ask questions instead of just being followers. Their's absolutely no need for the name calling or brash delivery from either side of the question, I read somewhere that "IF YOU ASK YOURSELF THE EASY QUESTIONS LIFE WILL BE TOUGH ON YOU BUT IF YOU ASK YOURSELF THE TOUGH QUESTIONS LIFE WILL BE EASY FOR YOU"in this case lets substitute the "YOURSELF WITH OURSELVES" we as a people need to start asking these tough questions not just of you but of our leaders also. Cheers |
All I can say is the bible states that "My PEOPLE PERSISH FOR LACK OF VISION" I hate to say it but I think that what naija is suffering from. Rather sad that one can spend that much money on a freakin plane yet their are members of your congregation that could absolutely use some financial assistance. This is a case of "MISPLACED PRIORITY" like we continue to see in naija, one day each of us including the so called religious leaders will have to answer to a higher power. All I can say is my naija people, it's time to open your eyes and see through the smoke-screen!! My .50cents or in this case my .50kobo |
BlackBerry's 8900 & 8300 primary devices. BlackBerry Bold 9000, Pearl Flip 8220 & 8120 for back-up just in case I feel like using a different BlackBerry!! ![]() |
Dude, I'm sorry to hear about your unfortunate encounter with this particular naija babe. I'm currently dating a naija babe & it's best thing that's ever happened to me in dating after I almost swore off naija babes based on my prior encounter with them. I tried talking to a couple in the past & I've have to say it was less than thrilling, between the attitude or maybe mentality that some of these babes have never ceases to amaze me. Okay, NL naija babes before you gang up on me please understand that I'm speaking from my personal experience here. About the father christmas mentality being synonymous with the naija men I have to agree. I always tell my girlfriend that from growing up in naija before moving to the west & seeing the naija guys here, their idea of toasting a chic or courting her is all about how much money they can spend or gift they can give. Now my people don't get me wrong about spending money or gift giving which I do myself, but there's a time & place for this. My girlfriend gets gifts from me, not because she's asked for it but because she deserves it. After a naija babe has dated a couple of naija guys that splurge on their asses until they get that pum-pum & move on leaving them in the cold, they now expect all naija guys to be father christmas. @ poster, you'll will have to sift through the |
I sey we all have a party! he he he!! ![]() |
This is a hilarious post. I've to as; 1) When did the art of seduction become the duty of only the male? 2) What stops the naija women from seducing naija men? Abi na 3) If your man is not seducing you then maybe he's busy seducing someone else oops I slippedAnyhew, it takes 2 to tango. I'm not sitting here claiming that every naija man is got seduction skills, but o'girl make u no generalize just as you no wan make I sey naija women too dey lack in that department. @ the poster wey sey na swiss army knife naija man dey take stab him babe for yansh for take wake am up for sex, maybe na him idea of seduction be that & the babe sef dey enjoy the pain of the stab!! lol, no pain no gain!! |
oma se o! I guess this is part of the reality of what's going on in college campuses. Hey, it is what it is ma people!!! |
Mine was @ work. I used to work for T-Mobile in one of there retail stores and I was assisting this fine chic that wanted to purchase a handset. I dey form fine boy dey speak phoneee to the fine chic when all of a sudden this LOUD sound escaped from the confines of my ass O !! man, I was sooo embarrassed that I just didn't say nothing and kept talking as if I didn't hear the sound! To make it worse, the fart STANK!! If there was ever a moment that I prayed for the floor to open-up and swallow me up, this was it!! ![]() |
I watched the game and I didn't think the Nigerian team really put in the kind of effort they were capable of!! The never really took some good shots against the Argentine goalie, it wasn't until they scored against us that the boys picked up the pace. Maybe I had my expectations set too high for our team, the opponents played well but it wasn't anything spectacular except that they took advantage of any opportunity they had to shoot the ball!!! Yeah yeah, I know I'm griping cuz we didn't have to settle for silver when we were more that capable of getting the GOLD!! Anyhew I dey go sleep jare!! |
anyone don chop 404 before? I hear it's nice and oily |
Sorry to say, Nigerians have to be the one of the most MORALLY CORRUPT nations that I've seen. As a Nigerian, I'm always in awe how ignorant we've have gotten as a nation. On one hand we want country to advance then on the second hand we celebrate the likes of Bode George, OBJ, IBB and all their likes!!! What a PITY!! Yes, he's been arrested but how about the leaders that have looted just like him and roam our country free with the AUDACITY to give advice to the government! Like Femi's song goes, "I sorry sorry for Nigeria!" Tufiakwa, when does the madness stop? "My people perish for lack of vision" Once we have a leader that truly has a vision, then we'll be on our way forward! o ma se o !!! |
I personally will date a woman of any color shade. I'm however more attracted to dark complexioned ladies, I just luv me some sexy looking chic with a dark tone. ummm! ![]() Please don't get me wrong I've dated across the board when it comes to women. Although, I've noticed that society has misconstrued light-complexioned for being beautiful which I completely disagree with especially amongst the black race!! Like I also say to folks, DATE WHATEVER MAKES YOU HAPPY OR TICKLES YOUR FANCY!! ![]() |
Good radiance to RUBBISH!! Never understood their roles, other than to waste money & human resources!! |
Are u a passive person by nature? Women like men that are "assertive" not work-overs. If I were you I did take inventory of myself regarding my personality & how I come across. GOOD LUCK MAN |
