Whatsapp is the best chat application out right now next to blackberry messenger. Its good for android, blackberry, Iphone and its even running on certain Nokias running symbian, not sure about windows mobile. Check it out!

I second that, WhatsApp is a cross-platform chat app that works very well, I use it a lot & it uses minimal data,

Unfortunately, this is not an exception in a country where there's no culture of maintenance. Build & let it manage itself, SMH, If we were to audit all the infrastructures in 9ja both government, commercial & personal the majority of them would be deemed unsafe & need to be condemned,

This only reason companies both locally owned & multinational continue to abuse their employees is because of the freaking lack of governance in 9ja. There are labor laws in place, maybe somewhat. But in a land where the government has their heads stuck so far up their asses to perform, employers end up having a field day.
As for SPANCO, they probably don't give a ish cuz they understand the mindset of the nigerian government that nobody from the govt will give a rat-ass about what happens to their citizens. The #1 reason a lot of lottery winners loose their fortune is that they are mentally not millionaires. Wealth is first of all; a state of mind! purchase a memory card & move all your multi-media files i.e pics,videos, songs from the phone's internal memory over to the micro-sd memory card. That should fix your low memory issue.

soak a cotton-wool in some alcohol, make sure you DON'T drench the cotton-wool with alcohol & then use the cotton-wool to wipe the track-ball. This will pick up any grime or dirty that may be stuck under the track-ball, hope that helps,

The 8310 is not a 3G BlackBerry, if you want a 3G BlackBerry you will need to get any one of these models; 9700, 9000,9630, 9650 storm1 & 2,

BB can definitely be used as a modem as long as the mobile carrier enables the tethering capability on their network. Or, you can download an app called TETHER, I believe they offer a 7 day trial and if you want to purchase it after the trial period it cost $49 one time and that it you don't ever have to worry about paying any additional fee to use your BB as a modem as long as you have the BIS plan for 5K from your mobile carrier.
When I visit 9ja this year, I'll be using my BB as a modem for my netbook once I've my BIS plan activated and don't have to pay any additional fee for a separate modem to browse the web

You need to delete some of the applications, emails, txt or media files that you have save on your phone. The reason the phone is deleting your call logs & probably sms is because your do not have anymore internal application memory left. Purchase a micro-sd card and transfer all you multi-media media files to it like pics & vids. Then you need to go to setting or options from your home screen, advanced options, applications & delete any 3rd party application that you may have installed that's not being used. Hope that helps
