PoliticsRe: CAN Rejects Muslim/Muslim Presidential Ticket. Says This Is Not 1993 by Acidosis(m): 6:06am On Jun 11, 2022
tesppidd:
But am beginning to agree with the assertion that CAN might be the religious arm of PDP..

After 8 years of Buhari, PDP still gave their ticket to Atiku, which would mean 26 straight years of Northern Fulani Islamic rule.

CAN did not utter a word about this!

Wow! Just wow!!
Northern Fulani? What's CAN's business with that?

Are you aware that some members of CAN are Fulanis? CAN has no business with tribal affiliations.

It is a CHRISTIAN religious body, not an ethnic NGO dude!

Stick to the topic and stop dragging CAN into your Fulani discussion. It is strictly a religious body and its stance applies to all parties.
PoliticsRe: CAN Rejects Muslim/Muslim Presidential Ticket. Says This Is Not 1993 by Acidosis(m): 6:00am On Jun 11, 2022
Islam is truly a confused religion (no offence to Muslims here).

So Tinubu's islamic religion is not enough for Northerners to vote him into power? Why is Tinubu still a muslim then?

He should simply convert to Christianity. Since his fellow muslims don't rate him, how is he going to meet Allah at the end of his journey on earth? Haha!

Tinubu should denounce Islam and pick a Northern Muslim grin grin

As for Southern Muslim- Northern Muslim ticket, it is DEAD on arrival.

PoliticsRe: Between A Muslim-Muslim Ticket and A Return Of Presidency to North by Acidosis(m):
If Northerners won't vote a Northern Christian, why should Southern Christians vote Tinubu, a Southern Muslim?

Better to have power returned to the North or any other party like Labour Party.
PoliticsRe: Shun Religion, Ethnicity In Choosing Tinubu’s VP, Ex-Deputy Govs Urge APC by Acidosis(m): 10:33am On Jun 10, 2022
No, it's not possible to shun religion and ethnicity in choosing who to lead or contest an election.

The voters are the ones to shun ethnicity and religion in choosing who to lead them.

Why must APC choose a Northern Muslim? Because Northerners won't vote a Christian VP? Who is the problem here? APC or Northern voters?

Nigerian politicians and ego. Whoever told Kwankwaso that he can ever be president under NNPP... How can you unsit APC when you all want to be presidents?

This is why BAT is smarter than you all.

Good. Bring your Muslim-muslim ticket.

Atiku's media machine will be happy to milk it and monopolize Christian votes both in the North and South. grin

Even in yorubaland. I don't see yoruba christians, RCCG or Winners teeming members voting Muslim-muslim ticket with the current state of the country. grin

Atiku should start using the title President-in-Waiting already. grin grin
Not happening unless Peter Obi returns to PDP.

Seems I underestimated this Tinubu.
The way he dealt with the likes of Adamu, it just flashed through my mind now that if Tinubu becomes president, fulani terrorists may become calmer than they were before 2015.
That said, he's not to be trusted.
They will surely go into hiding but the level of looting will be unimaginable.

Indecent dressing is a logical reason to break up. Her uncooperative or aggressive response to your concerns is even a better reason to end the relationship.

Moving on, you may have to work on yourself. All these excessive calling and sending of long epistle will mess you up.

You can let people know that you love them without being in their business 24/7, especially when you're not sure that the love or feeling is mutual. When the love becomes mutual, nothing can be too much.

zenius:
You don't see it yet, Atiku is your president come 2023, based on your own permutation, if you want to be objective.
Sad buy true.

With Obi not being able to muster the support he needs to win, he'll share the spoils with BAT in the whole south. It's the youths voting bloc that'll make sure of that this time. While that happens down south, ATIKU slides home to victory in the North, with pockets of vote in the south.

Sadly, we are not better for it as a nation. I would have loved PYO or Obi.
PYO is my first choice but he's not getting the ticket, unfortunately. I think Obi is a good man but I don't think I agree with his decision to defect. Nigerian youths online obviously gave him that impression by saying they don't want the two major parties. I respect their choice even though I believe it is highly illogical and emotional.

Meanwhile, Atiku is not sliding home to victory in the North. He may get bloc votes in Adamawa but definitely not in Kano, Katsina, Kaduna, etc.

There is ZERO hope for Atiku in Southern Nigeria. This is why I felt Obi would have been a perfect match for him. Obi has no hope in the North, regardless of who becomes his vice.

Who will vote for Tinubu in the SS/SE
That's the point. The votes of the SS/SE will be divided, hence giving BAT an edge. Many SS/SE voters will clearly vote PDP, Labour Party, and APC.
PoliticsRe: Sorting Of Votes Has Begun (APC Presidential Primary) by Acidosis(m): 9:29am On Jun 08, 2022
It is safe to say that Obi leaving PDP or refusing to be Atiku's VP was a very big miscalculation for him and a loss for the people of the East.

An Atiku/Obi ticket is the only reasonable match against BAT at this point.

That is the only way to give Tinubu a run for his money in the Northern and Southern Nigeria.

We are waiting.

Tinubu will win the primaries but the general election, I feel for him.
Whoever wins the APC primary election is 80% close to victory at the general election.

To defeat a sitting or ruling party at the Federal level is no jokes. It took the alliance of all the top Nigerian politicians from the North, South, West and East (including Saraki, Atiku, Tinubu, Buhari, Oshiomole, etc.) to unseat Goodluck with a very little margin.
PoliticsRe: The Results Of This APC Primaries Will Surprise So Many by Acidosis(m): 8:56am On Jun 08, 2022
Tinubu has won this already. There is still a long way to go but odds are in Tinubu's favour. 80% of votes counted so far are for BAT.

Very unfortunate. Osinbajo is the ONLY I would have given the evil party a chance.

Yea, saw that too. He looks like the anointed one. See hausas cheering him up. Na dem go do justice tonight , no be our dollar-loving southern delegates. PYO would likely pick lawan as running mate
That Lawan is too stubborn. He may never step down.

As for those clowns who stepped down earlier, they don't have the powers over delegates. Only sitting governors have a fair share of influence over delegates, not political outcast like amosun, akpabio

Osinbajo's chances of winning will improve with a Lawan/Yahaya Bello alliance. Without the support of those two, Omo star boy don't stand a chance tonight. Sadly.
