tesppidd:Northern Fulani? What's CAN's business with that? Are you aware that some members of CAN are Fulanis? CAN has no business with tribal affiliations. It is a CHRISTIAN religious body, not an ethnic NGO dude! Stick to the topic and stop dragging CAN into your Fulani discussion. It is strictly a religious body and its stance applies to all parties. |
Islam is truly a confused religion (no offence to Muslims here). So Tinubu's islamic religion is not enough for Northerners to vote him into power? Why is Tinubu still a muslim then? He should simply convert to Christianity. Since his fellow muslims don't rate him, how is he going to meet Allah at the end of his journey on earth? Haha! Tinubu should denounce Islam and pick a Northern Muslim ![]() As for Southern Muslim- Northern Muslim ticket, it is DEAD on arrival. |
Froshloaded:Step down for a major contender? And what do you mean by political career? As a vice president, what else do you want him to do politically? Ogun state lawmaker? |
festacman:Why? |
If Northerners won't vote a Northern Christian, why should Southern Christians vote Tinubu, a Southern Muslim? Better to have power returned to the North or any other party like Labour Party. |
No, it's not possible to shun religion and ethnicity in choosing who to lead or contest an election. The voters are the ones to shun ethnicity and religion in choosing who to lead them. Why must APC choose a Northern Muslim? Because Northerners won't vote a Christian VP? Who is the problem here? APC or Northern voters? |
Nigerian politicians and ego. Whoever told Kwankwaso that he can ever be president under NNPP... How can you unsit APC when you all want to be presidents? This is why BAT is smarter than you all. |
Oplomo:Not happening unless Peter Obi returns to PDP. |
SarkinYarki:The only way to defeat BAT. |

MangekyoAlt:They will surely go into hiding but the level of looting will be unimaginable. |
seanwilliam:LOL. These social media likes and shares don't win elections. |
LMAO! ![]() |
Indecent dressing is a logical reason to break up. Her uncooperative or aggressive response to your concerns is even a better reason to end the relationship. Moving on, you may have to work on yourself. All these excessive calling and sending of long epistle will mess you up. You can let people know that you love them without being in their business 24/7, especially when you're not sure that the love or feeling is mutual. When the love becomes mutual, nothing can be too much. |
zenius:PYO is my first choice but he's not getting the ticket, unfortunately. I think Obi is a good man but I don't think I agree with his decision to defect. Nigerian youths online obviously gave him that impression by saying they don't want the two major parties. I respect their choice even though I believe it is highly illogical and emotional. Meanwhile, Atiku is not sliding home to victory in the North. He may get bloc votes in Adamawa but definitely not in Kano, Katsina, Kaduna, etc. There is ZERO hope for Atiku in Southern Nigeria. This is why I felt Obi would have been a perfect match for him. Obi has no hope in the North, regardless of who becomes his vice. |
UyaiIncomparabl:My dear..... |
PaChukwudi44:That's the point. The votes of the SS/SE will be divided, hence giving BAT an edge. Many SS/SE voters will clearly vote PDP, Labour Party, and APC. |
It is safe to say that Obi leaving PDP or refusing to be Atiku's VP was a very big miscalculation for him and a loss for the people of the East. An Atiku/Obi ticket is the only reasonable match against BAT at this point. That is the only way to give Tinubu a run for his money in the Northern and Southern Nigeria. |
HIGHESTPOPORI:Same Northerners working for him at the moment? BAT is leading currently. |
kollinz1234:Thank you. |
kollinz1234:Whoever wins the APC primary election is 80% close to victory at the general election. To defeat a sitting or ruling party at the Federal level is no jokes. It took the alliance of all the top Nigerian politicians from the North, South, West and East (including Saraki, Atiku, Tinubu, Buhari, Oshiomole, etc.) to unseat Goodluck with a very little margin. |
Tinubu has won this already. There is still a long way to go but odds are in Tinubu's favour. 80% of votes counted so far are for BAT. Very unfortunate. Osinbajo is the ONLY I would have given the evil party a chance. |
Eriokanmi:That Lawan is too stubborn. He may never step down. As for those clowns who stepped down earlier, they don't have the powers over delegates. Only sitting governors have a fair share of influence over delegates, not political outcast like amosun, akpabio Osinbajo's chances of winning will improve with a Lawan/Yahaya Bello alliance. Without the support of those two, Omo star boy don't stand a chance tonight. Sadly. |
skentelelady:Exactly |
Osinbajo's got the best speech so far... No cap! But Tinubu's bullion van won't allow these criminal delegates have sense. Awon omo OLE! |
UyaiIncomparabl:He doesn't, sadly. |
