Tzar: This dumb idiot was quick to show off the salary that they use to deceive Nigerians. But when questioned about the allowances in multi millions that they use to rob Nigerians, the fool started speaking gibberish! Go and watch the video. He's told his constituents to vote another person and that he's not willing to return. What else do you want? You all don't like honest people. |

Hisbah21: And the bonus, allowances, constituency project fees nko? I have always mentioned it on this forum that house of rep members don't earn 1/100th of what our governors get from fake contracts. House of rep members (especially the new ones) are not that wealthy and that's a fact. Not all of them have access to bribes. This guy has spoken his truth. He challenged Channels TV to post the entire balance and even said that he's not returning to the house because the problem and expectations are too much for him. What else do you all want to hear? Our main problem in this country is Mr President and the 36 Governors. House of Rep members are as useless as the P in Psychology. Nigeria won't pause for a second if we do away with both cabinets. |

babaolofin: What has Osinbajo as VP achieved for the Christians? Bishop Wale Oke is just being manipulated by the mushroom of Churches which are anti Tinubu. I know what is happening.
Tinubu should go ahead with his Muslim - Muslim ticket. There is nothing Okowa can do as VP on religious issue. Umaru Dikko and Uba Ahmed were more powerful than Ekwueme as VP.
If Tinubu choose Pope Francis as VP, the IBOs that are pushing Bishop Wale Oke will not vote for him. What stops him from making the choice that would make him to win. With Okowa as VP choice yesterday, ATIKU, Buhari, OBJ, Abdulsalam, Baba Adeboye and some other far sighted elders know Muslim - Muslim ticket is a direct win for Tinubu that is why they are against it.
A pastor from Benin told me early in the year that Tinubu is not acceptable to him because he betrayed Jonathan. I told him Tinubu had no pact with Jonathan, why did he betrayed Jonathan? I told him in the midst of other pastors that Tinubu is ruling. He said if Tinubu becomes President they will invite MILITARY to take over government. I asked him who will invite the military? Is it Benin people or the IBO youths who said they prefer death to Tinubu becoming President? He cannot answer me. That was before APC consensus issue. This discussion took place at a Prayer Mountain/Camp.
PFN does not have control over Tinubu's supporters. Oyedepo campaigned vigorously and bitterly against Buhari in 2014/2015, yet members still voted for Buhari.
CAN and PFN cannot stop Tinubu's victory. Tinubu should be courageous and announce Muslim - Muslim ticket. Most of them are businessmen without spiritual eyes. The problem on ground is beyond motivational speaking and spoken English . This is purely spiritual and wisdom matter. 2019 Presidential Result for Lagos StateBuhari / Osibanjo: 580,825 Atiku Abubakar/ Peter Obi: 448,015 Do with the above information whatever you want. |

chloedogie: I am a born again Christian attending a pentecostal church. If the duo of a Muslim Muslim candidates are better than Muslim Christian or Christian Christian, I will vote the Muslim Muslim 1000 times. Saudi Arabia and most UAE cities were built by Muslims. How is governance and religion a thing we mix up?
Oyinlola and erelu obada were both Christians that did pilot Osun State for over 7 years and they didn't Christianise the state which is Muslim dominated. So what are we talking about? Nigeria is not a Christian country but one with different beliefs.
What is PFN exceptionally doing for its members as a body that we can point to or tell leaders to emulate? Abeg make everyone calm down and vote their conscience. PFN members want to vote their conscience by avoiding a muslim-muslim ticket. Why are you citing UAE and Saudi Arabia? Why not Israel or you don't like the way the Israeli government protect her citizens from terrorists? |

And in such situations what ever feeling and courage she had has evaporated, that's why she needs encouragement and your first response was really harsh it even gave me heart burn how much more the lady, take am easy, you are always harsh in most of your comments on family threads. Have you considered the fact that OP's narrations about her husband can send the young man to the mortuary? Or his feelings don't matter to you? I have to join her and others to lambast the young man to make her (op) and her likes feel good? It's not about being harsh or blunt. Are problems being solved by what we post day in day out? This is the priority, for me. A post can attract a thousand likes online and in real life, the problems may persist. After smiling online not knowing her errors and the gravity of her new reality, she will go back to face the very same hubby we all want to condemn. To what end? |

Octobertwentysix: Na wa for you oooo I like your moniker I believe married men should be financially responsible for the day-to-day expenses of the home. I have a lot to say about the man. But what's the point of saying so much about someone that is less likely to read this thread? I'll rather focus on those issues that apply to the OP. She needs to let go of those thoughts gradually. Her situation is not peculiar. It is not uncommon to see couples sharing a room in Lagos. I'm even surprised they could afford a room on the island. Moreover, I don't consider her situation a mistake. It has always been a firm and solid decision. Which graduate in this century will mistakenly marry an uneducated non-challant driver from the village? This guy never lied to her about his background or educational status, remember? Whatever gave her the courage from the start should be refueled. |

truthsayer009: E be like you no read that post completely oh.
The summary was that the man is absolutely non-challant, and he has always been pushed to accomplish every little thing he has ever accomplished. She has been complaining before they got married, In fact she even refused to get married early because she promised herself not to have kids to suffer. she marriage was enforced by the man and family members all together The things she did before that marriage weren't "complaints". Those were things she did out of love and the need to be a sweet and supportive girlfriend. Her marriage at the point of joining was never an issue. All these wahala na afterthoughts, based on her new experiences in Lagos. Seeing that it is too late to turn back the hands of time, it is only natural to lament over past situations. By the way, the outburst is very necessary. A very good way to tackle depression. |

Octobertwentysix: Did you even read her post?, The guy was never driven, he doesn't have a job, she encouraged and pushed him until he got the driving job, she's the graduate here, she pays most of the bills, brought him a phone when his old phone got bad, if he's not pushed he doesn't move. Her mistake was to remain with him all these years knowing full well that he's not capable and also given to family pressure to marry him. She never married him to escape poverty because he had never had any dime. So Oga acidosis before you condemn her try and understand and don't increase the emotional trauma she's already going through. I didn't see any emotional trauma. The young man is not malhandling her. She's not going through any emotional abuse. She's not even starving or begging on the streets. She wasn't forced to buy a phone. All I see is the epistle of a woman who feels she deserves better, economically. Getting to Lagos, she's probably now realised that a better marriage would have been a great ticket to paradise, hence the lamentations. These are mere afterthoughts to previous uncertainties. More like travelling to Togo only to realise that Canada would have been a better choice. The plans failed in that, unlike migrating from Togo to Canada, you can't easily move from one marriage to another. |

Obi and Kwankwaso need to work together, if they're interested in displacing both APC/PDP politicians.
Kwankwaso/Obi voters will deliver 35-40% of the votes in the entire north, leaving APC and PDP to share the rest.
In both SE and SW, Kwankwaso and Obi voters will deliver 45% of the votes, leaving the other parties to share the rest.
With additional 25-30% of the votes from both North Central and South South, nothing can stop Obi/Kwankwaso. |

But then, you shouldn't be blaming your marriage and families though. You saw all the signs you needed 6 years ago. You introduced the guy to your parents, isn't? Why blaming them now?
That young man is not the cause of your frustration. You had all the time in the world to dump the relationship. |

Anyone who is not just turning 18 and is just crowding INEC office for a PVC is unserious It is the responsibility of INEC to get people registered and have their cards delivered. That's the reason they're being paid. MTN and GTBank's contract workers don't earn as much as INEC staff, yet they go all out to onboard new customers. |
