You don’t know where these weavons comes from, the bracelets you call fashion, eyelashes; eyelashes are gotten from Satan’s armpit, the hair under Satan’s armpit is what they use to manufacture eyelashes.

When Jesus opens your eyes to see, the things we women buy and put on. Even, these clothes we are wearing; they are polluted, that’s why God says, “pray without ceasing”, pray on everything.

God showed me market women; market men, who are with Satan, they pollute the food we eat.



These hospitals, these doctors, these new doctors and nurses are agents of darkness.

Schools in Sierra Leone; God says 80% of the children in that school and teachers are children of darkness. They are polluted and also initiate their friends.

Often time a lot of us think that curses are only from that old village witch or some wicked herbalist or wizards.

In fact many people think that generational curses are the only curses and that they come as a result of family history. People even believes that such curses may come as a result of a wrong doing by a certain family, several decades or centuries away. They believe that if they are affected by that curse or any other at all, it is the fault from their family background and not necessarily due to their own mistakes.

However there are some curses which the Bible states that people can get even everyday if they are not careful. In Deuteronomy 27, from verse 15 to 26, some curses actually come from God as a result of disobedience to His commandments.



Take a look at them:

1- Deuteronomy 27: 15, “Cursed is anyone who carves or casts an idol and secretly sets it up. These idols, the work of craftsmen, are detestable to the LORD”

So anyone who serves/worship anything; image, animal, human, etc other than God Almighty is cursed.

2- Deuteronomy 27: 16, “Cursed is anyone who dishonors father or mother.”

Many of us are suffering from our past misbehavior, unknowing to us. One way or the other by dishonoring our parents we are suffering and don’t even know. Some curses are automatic, its like breaking some laws of the country and punishments are giving per offenses. Some pains some of us are going through in life today are as a result of our past misdeeds to our parents. Dishonoring one’s parents naturally attracts curses. We don’t need any witch to curse us to pay for such.

3- When you cheat a fellow human being, particularly in sales, you adjust scales, adjust fuel pumps, reduce the boundary of land you sold, you are cursed. You will think you are making profit, yes you may make profit in that line of business, but you will suffer in another aspect of your life. Your suffering may come in form of marital problems; it could be health or general instability. That is what curse causes.

Curse in the contemporary dictionary is defined as a solemn utterance intended to invoke a supernatural power to inflict harm or punishment on someone or something.

So for every curse there is a correspondent punishment, or harm on the person the curse is directed towards.

4- Deuteronomy 27:17, “Cursed is anyone who steals property from a neighbor by moving a boundary marker.

5- You are cursed if you mislead people, if you lead people astray, you are cursed. The Bible in Deuteronomy 27: 18 says, “Cursed is anyone who leads a blind person astray on the road. Maybe there is a woman who as a problem in her relationship and she confines in you as a male colleague, you confuse her, tell her things that will make her relationship collapse, in the process, you sleep with, you are cursed. It’s just like the man who wants to help a blind man cross the road, and leaves him in the middle of the road to be crushed by a vehicle.

6- This one particularly is for the law enforcement people, the judiciary and everyone in position of authority- you are cursed if you refuse or fail to give justice to the right person. This is how the Bible puts it… Deuteronomy 27:19, “Cursed is anyone who denies justice to foreigners (Strangers), orphans (people who has no one to help them), or widows (sorrowful or sad women, people in need and real widows).

7- Anyone who sleeps with his father’s wife, whether step mother or any of his father’s wives is cursed. Deuteronomy 27:20, “Cursed is anyone who has sexual intercourse with one of his father’s wives for he has violated his father

8- You are cursed if you sleep with animals; having sexual intercourse with any kind of animal is a curse. Deuteronomy 27:21, “Cursed is anyone who has sexual intercourse with an animal”

9- Incest is a curse! Deuteronomy 27:22, “Cursed is anyone who has sexual intercourse with his sister, whether she is the daughter of his father or his mother (Half sister)

10- Cursed is anyone who has sexual intercourse with his mother-in-law

11- Cursed is anyone who attacks his neighbor in secret. I bet you almost everyone is guilty of this. And yet we wonder where some of our problems are coming from!

12- Cursed is a hired killer, the Bible says, “Cursed is anyone who accepts payment to kill an innocent person.” Deuteronomy 27:25

13- Cursed is anyone who does not affirm and obey the terms of these instructions.

Now you have read this and refuse to believe and agree with what the Bible says in the whole of it, the Bible says, those who do not affirm (agree) and obey these instructions are cursed.

So if you have any problem, health wise, finance, marital etc, maybe you need to check out all of these listed above reasons why there are some natural curses in our lives and see if you are guilty or found wanting in any.

You may need God’s intervention as quick as possible to remove these curses from life by repenting, ask God for forgiveness, and pray for the curses to be removed and taken away from your life.

Jesus went with me to hell this time, when I was with Jesus, the brightness of Jesus; Jesus have light all over His body, when we entered that dark place, I was seeing, I could see, this time, the people in hell because of the bright light on Jesus (Jesus is walking with a bright light, a glorious light).

And then, Jesus opened my eyes to see some of these men and women in hell. Jesus gave me message to Sierra Leone, He said if I should have come in December to January only five people in Sierra Leone would have raptured five only. That includes the three righteous pastors and five other people in and out of the church, when I said this in Sierra Leone, people said it is lie.

Jesus said Sierra Leone is polluted; that the shepherds he gave the word to preach to His people in Sierra Leone are dying to meet God, but majority are in hell. So Jesus sent me to Sierra Leone


When we were in hell, Jesus showed me a glass-like aquarium with people inside it, the souls of human who are still on earth are in that glass inside hell. These are people on earth who are working for demons, we have some people on earth who don’t believe anything, they are on their own, doing all sorts of bad things, even pastors who knows the truth but are bowing down to Satan, they are partakers of Satan’s communion, their souls are in that place.

Gadhafi in Hell

And Jesus pulled out a man from the fire and he introduced himself to me, he said, “I am Gadhafi” (because you won’t recognize him because the fire has destroyed him, he said, “I am Gadhafi, former Libya president”

Gadhafi said, “Tell my Libya people to worship Jesus” he said, “Tell my people to believe in Jesus”, he said, “Ah Jesus, have mercy, I never knew you are the right way, have mercy on me”.

He said, even the people who killed him on earth, he doesn’t want them to come to hell, he said “Tell my people to believe that Jesus is the right way”

A Special Broadcast on the Economic Stimulus Package by the Government of Anambra State on Tuesday, September 20, 2016

Ndi Anambra, ekenem unu!

Following the formal announcement by the Federal Government that the nation’s economy has gone into a RECESSION, I consider it my duty as your Governor to distil the message of the economic situation of the country down to the grassroots. However, following this development too, I am happy to announce to you that I have come up with a Stimulus Package that will ease the pain of the recession and help our dear state bounce back to prosperity.



Ndi Anambra, before I unfold my Stimulus Package to you, I want to assure you that the government of Anambra State is fully aware of the difficulties you are going through in your families, in your businesses and in your various communities. I wish to assure you that you are not alone! My brothers and sisters, I feel your pain! Biko, unu ebezina maka na agu nwelu nchekwube anaghi egbu. Anyi nwelu olile anya! Oga adikwanu nma!

Brothers and sisters, our country’s painful journey into the current recession is fairly known to us. The events that triggered this decline are very well documented in the public domain. So, I will not go through the details of how we arrived where we are. Ndi Anambra, I wish to assure you that after a careful study of the situation, I am more convinced now than ever before that with our fundamentals, our infinite capacity to come back from deficits and our implicit faith in God, our story should be different in Anambra State.

Consequently, our intervention comes in Four Key Areas-

1) Tax Relief Programme,
2) Special Intervention Programmes for Small and Medium Enterprises, MSMEs and Large Enterprises,
3) Social Intervention Programme for Low Income Households and finally;
4) Intervention in Infrastructure-for-Jobs

The objective of our Tax Relief Programme is to evaluate existing taxes, levies and fees in the state and introduce some waivers and in some cases scrap the collection of some illegal levies imposed on our people. I believe that these will go a long way to cushioning the impact of the recession on households in the state. Our immediate response in this regard is as follows:

1. I hereby suspend the sale of consolidated emblems in Anambra State

2. I suspend the collection of Hawkers Permit on all streets in the state

3. I suspend the collection of Wheelbarrow Tax in all markets in the state

4. Lastly, I abolish the imposition of unapproved levies on students in public primary and secondary schools in the state.

All these pronouncements shall take immediate effect.

Next is the Special Intervention Programme for Small and Medium Enterprises, MSMEs and Large Enterprises. Ndi Anambra, this sector of the economy accounts for over 800,000 jobs in Anambra State today. These businesses are suffering from the acute drop in the supply of Foreign Exchange at the moment and are left with two options; scale down their operations or shut down completely.

It was celebration galore in Lokoja and other parts of the state yesterday after the Supreme court affirms Governor Yahaya Bello's election.

As soon as the news on the Supreme Court ruling upholding the election of the governor filtered into the state capital, Lokoja, from Abuja, people trooped out to the streets in excitement and started making calls congratulating one another.

The announcement doused the tension which had taken over the state in the past weeks prior to the judgment of the supreme court.

The governor of the state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello who spoke through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Kingsley Fanwo, after the judgment, said his victory at the Supreme Court was a “big honour to democracy.”

Earth tremor is an involuntary movement of earth surface caused by stress in the underground rocks. When this happens things at the surface of the earth like buildings, trees and other high standing structures can collapse causing damages to properties and injuries to people.

Since the earth tremor that shook some part of Kaduna State, the people of Kaduna State have been living in fear, particularly those living in or near Qei and Jaba area of Jaba Local Government Area of the state and those living in Kwoi and surrounding villages of Nok, Sanbah and Chori in Jama Local Government Area of Kaduna State.


All you need to know about the tremor

1- The first shaking occurred at 12:28:16.50 seconds GMT on Sunday 11th September, 2016 and the event had an epicentre located Latitude 9.825N and Longitude 7.885 E while Local Magnitude was 2.6 and Moment Magnitude was 3.0 and Focal Depth was 10km.

2- The second event occurred on Monday 12th September, 2016 at 03:10:48.80 seconds (GMT) with Local Magnitude of 2.6 and Moment Magnitude of 2.9 with Focal Depth of 10km while the epicentre was Latitude 10.879N and Longitude 7.188E.

3- The third took place on Monday 12th September at 03:11:20.00 seconds (GMT) located at an epicentre of Latitude 9.927N and Longitude 7.297E, Local Magnitude 2.9 and Moment Magnitude 3.0.

4- There are reports of cracks on walls of buildings, falling off of ceiling fans and other items.

5- The incident is the first of it’s kind in the State

6- This tremor cannot not lead to earthquake

How to prevent loses and casualties during tremor or land shaking

1- Government should investigate and locate prone areas and quickly give early warning for people to vacate those areas.

2- High rising buildings should not be built in prone areas, especially where such things are likely to happen.

3- A station should be put there by government to monitor and pick quickly events and occurrences like earth tremor

4- Public should always adhere strictly to building regulations so that they design structures that can withstand earth tremors and even earthquakes,”

5- People should keep fire extinguisher, first aid kit, battery-powered radio, flashlight, and extra batteries at home. Having first aid skills is also important not only in preparation for earth quakes but also our daily lives.

6- Turning off the gas, water, and electricity is important to ensure no sparks that may lead to a fire are formed.

If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully keep all his commands… you will be set high above, you will not experience the hard times people are talking about. God will make you so rich and wealthy that people will awe!

It doesn’t matter what is currently happening around the world. The economic situation of the world is getting worse than ever before, but this current hard time is not a yardstick to measure yourself as a child of God. Once you obey his commands (all of it, not part of it), you will live even better than you were when there was no recession.


Take a look at God’s blessing for you in this recession. Please note: you can only achieve this if you obey God’s commandments to the fullest. If you love the Lord your God, keep his commands, honor your parents, refuse to covert what belongs to your neighbor, and don’t steal the nation’s treasury, then….

1- Your towns (your family, relatives, you and the people around you) and your field (your business, your job), will be blessed. (Deuteronomy 28:3)

3- The offspring of your herds and flocks will be blessed. That means from your job you are currently doing, you will start another job or business and that one too will prosper, it will all be blessed.

4- Your fruits baskets and breadboards will blessed. It means you bank account and other places where you wealth is stored like stocks, shares etc will be blessed

Look at this:

5- Wherever you go (anywhere you are located, be it in Sokoto, Zamfara, Bayelsa, Lebanon, New York or even Afghanistan), whatever work or business you are doing, it could be watermelon selling, cake making, sowing, or even banking, you will be blessed, you will be prosperous, rich, wealthy and healthy (Deuteronomy 28:3-6)

6- The Lord will conquer your enemies when they attack you. Look, it didn’t say, enemies will not attack you, it says, God will conquer for you when they attack you. So let me tell you my dear friend. In this recession time as you prosper in the Lord, you are going to have many more enemies, because they will wonder how you are feeding regularly, clothing, and managing to keep your job. They will be angry, they will plot your downfall in many ways, through kidnapping, fraud and even attempted murder or rape, just our of jealousy!

But the Bible in Deuteronomy 28:7B says; “…They will attack you from one direction, but they (those attacking you), will scatter from you in seven directions” wow! Isn’t that awesome!

In recent times, many Nigerians have had reasons to believe that the fight against corruption by it's president, is lopsided and selective. Though everyone seem to agree that the president is fighting corruption, even the strong opposition parties believe so too, but it is a general view that the president is targeting only those perceived by the corruption agencies as enemies of his government, either presently or in the past.

According to a new report by SaharaReporters, the Chief of Staff to President Buhari, received as much as N500 million bribe from MTN to help the telecom company mitigate the fine imposed on it by the federal government.

It said that corruption allegation against Abba Kyari , Buhari's Chief of Staff was presented to President Buhari several times including during the Sallah holiday.But the president did not relieve Kyari of his position.


In the report, when the Chief of Staff was confronted by the president about the allegation, he claimed he was helping the All Progressives Congress party raise funds for the gubernatorial election in Bayelsa State, to which the president reportedly asked him if he was the party chairman, but did not relieve him of his post.

And then He showed me an anointed man of God, He said, this is my son:

Francis A.M Mambu (Faith Healing Bible Church): God showed me how this man is serving Him in truth and in spirit. God says he is not compromising His word for anything. “He is not preaching for his self-interest, he is telling the people the hard truth of my word, the persecution the man is going through for God; tell him to stand firm, anyone who fights against you, fights against me”.

He said, “Go out and preach my word, not only in your church, I’m with you, I will make your enemies your footstool”.

I don’t use to like this man- Francis Mambu, for his holiness preaching. I felt so ashame
The men of God I loved so much in the world that I thought were the real men of God, for instance Bishop Achibald Cole; I use to love this man of God because I use to think he was a righteous man of God. I thought he was with God, not knowing he was with demons.
I hated Francis Mambu, I didn’t know he was a true child of God until Jesus was praising him; Jesus was happy over this man.

And He said, “I am going to send you to this man of God, he will lead you, with this other pastor to take my message out.”

And when I met this man; he obeyed and went to God in prayer (he did not accept the message; I told him everything Jesus told me except the message for him personally- I told him Jesus said I should come to him, that He wants fasting and prayer for the church and the things Jesus showed me of the body of Christ.

And he just said “Okay, I will know what to do” and he went and did dry fasting, he asked God if He sent me and God told him “Yes”.

And he called me back to his office and said to me, “God sent you and I’m, going to back up God’s message”

But these other men of God; they did not do it, instead they said the spirit told them that I am from demons, and they have been threatening us.

And God showed me another anointed man of God. I didn’t know this man of God was helping my sister (I hated the man for always calling my sister).

Pastor Ezekiel Baimba Sesay: He said, Ezekiel Baimba Sesay: you have proved to me that you love me with all the hard times you stand for the truth, preaching of my word, I will expand you And make your enemies your footstool, don’t compromise, stand for the truth; take message of holiness round the world, I am with you. Today, he is hearing the message.

And the Lord showed me another man of God but he is a Nigerian; Pastor Emeka Moses- Watchman Ministry, with headquarters in Nigeria. He said, “he is preaching my word, he is not compromising my word for anything. I’m with you- go out and preach, not only in your church”. (Because Pastor Emeka is used to saying, “I am not a Sierra Leonean, if you want to hear the truth, come to my church, if these men of God wants me to come to their church, I will go, but I am not forcing myself”.

So God sent me to tell him that he is not to preach the holiness message to only his members but he should go out and preach outside the church, that He will make his enemies his footstool. He said, this church is my church.

For the godless are full of resentment. Even when He punishes them, they refuse to cry out to Him for help.

They die when they are young, after their lives in immoral living.

Many Christians and Believers think just because they are Christians they are supposed to tolerate all situations even negative and unpleasant situations that could land them into trouble.

Sometimes when they find themselves in a situation of discomfort that requires them to take an action, they would rather not speak out or react, they prefer to stay silent and end up landing into deep big problems.

For instance if you work in an office where you notice a colleague that has been stealing from the office, instead of reporting, you are afraid that you could get implicated and so you keep quiet until someday when the fraud is discovered maybe when the fraudster had left the organization, then the management holds you responsible for the fraud because you worked in the same office with the fraudster. You were aware all along that you could get into trouble even though you were not the one doing the fraud but you kept shut until it was too late. You could either get sacked or even prosecuted for a fraud you did not commit for your not being smart, you can be held accomplice!

You are expected, you are required to give some offerings from your income after all your fasting, breakthrough prayers, etc, have been answered by God. You have been able to achieve all those things you were praying about, now you are expected to give some of the first produce from each crop you harvest (a part of your income) and bring to a designated place of worship (your church)- the place the Lord your God chooses for his name to be honored.

As a preacher or a man of God you may have received several rejections from the people you preach to. Some people refuse to listen to you because your message is pure as it is in the bible.

Some refuse to listen to you because you are not a popular man of God, or because you are not a “prosperity-preaching” pastor, ignoring your true message of repentance and the kingdom of God.

People mock preachers and call them all sorts of names.

Many do not welcome the preacher into their homes, some won’t even watch a preacher on TV, but would keep sleepless nights to watch an entertainment program!


A preacher’s message is read by many with contempt, some sigh after reading a message put together by a man of God and even sometimes use insulting words on them.

Can a preacher, a man of God, pastor accept gifts, food or money when out to preach? Yes! Can a man of God accept private jet? Yes!

Matthew 10: 9-10, “Don’t take any money in your money belts- no gold, silver, or even copper coins. Don’t carry a traveler’s bag with a change of clothes and sandals or even a walking stick. Don’t hesitate to accept hospitality, because those who work deserve to be fed”

As at the time Jesus gave his disciples this instruction there aren’t cars or jets then, maybe Jesus might have asked them not also travel with their private cars too. Can you imagine, Jesus even told them not to go with a change of cloth, on a trip that could take weeks or months!

Obviously they won’t be using the same cloth throughout their period of stay; someone will provide the cloth they will wear. We all know it won't be possible for them to use the same clothing all through their period of stay. The same way Jesus asked them not take with them any money, that means someone will provide for them all the things they need to use money for, isn’t it?

He told them not to hesitate to accept hospitality, because those who work deserve to be fed. Pastors and men of God have taken up responsibilities of doctors by healing through miracles, they have taken up responsibilities of teachers and counselors and so they deserve to receive hospitality from these the people.

I once said, people would spend several millions to treat cancer in hospital, but when at a single word of prophecy by a man of God they receive instant healing from cancer, they think that man of God does not deserve to be given gifts.

Yes, it is true that it is the power of God that heals, it is the power of God that the man of God uses to heal and perform miracles, but the same word of God says people should give to these men of God because they deserve to be fed.

As a member of a church or a beneficiary of a miracle or prophecy of a man of God, you have the duty of giving gifts to your man of God.

What you can give depends on how much you have and can afford to extend to that your man of God!

It is not wrong for a man of God to accept gifts from his followers. Jesus told his disciples not to hesitate to accept hospitality because those who work deserve to be fed.

Being fed comes in various forms, and like I had earlier said, what you give your man of God depends on what you have and can afford to give.

Hospitality is not by accommodating a man of God only or giving him food to eat alone. Hospitality to a man of God can be as much as buying him a private jet, so long as you did not steal the money to buy him the jet.

Many of us put our trusts in our friends, our relatives, siblings and even spouse; we have been mistakenly deceived by our minds to believe that these people are our source of finance, happiness and wellbeing. I tell you the truth, none of these people in our lives can give us a perfect condition that we would have loved to be.


This is why the Bible is saying, “don’t put your trust in mere humans”… no matter how much you trust them, they can fail too, they are humans, you can not totally live your life on them, you cannot put all your hope in them, you cannot make them your God.


You make them your God by putting your trust in them. No! Don’t do that. Yes it is a human being that God will send to help you, God is not a magician that He will throw down money from heaven to you or that will hide money inside a wardrobe for you to be spending. No, God doesn’t do that, God has step by step procedures, for you to achieve whatever you have to achieve here on earth. It is not only when you sacrifice something to something( a deity, a small god) that you are doing something wrong in the sight of God, even when you make someone, a human like you, you turn the person into your provider, you are sinning against God because it is the same God who gave that person that wealth. The person can be a helper but you are expected to rely totally on him, you put your trust in God and not on any man.

I have heard lots of people discussing and complaining about the increase in the number of pastors in the world today. Maybe I have joined in such conversations in the past too.

But after studying this portion of the bible I discovered that many more pastors will spring up because there’s still so much work to be done before the coming of the groom.

Look at the story in Matthew 9:35-38, Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogue and announcing the Good News about the kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness.


Just the same way God is working today, through His prophets to heal people and deliver many oppressed.

In verse 36 of Matthew 9, when he (Jesus) saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

Okay, you will understand it now, the reason why Jesus had compassion on these people was because they were confused and helpless.

Many people in the world today are confused and helpless just like in the time of Jesus. Poverty is everywhere, no jobs, people are suffering, marriages are failing, children duping their parents, friends cheating friends, people using others for money rituals, and Government not doing anything to help the masses. Yes, there is confusion everywhere and people are helpless!

Take a look at this and you will understand why many more pastors will spring up: Matthew 9: 37, He(Jesus) said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, (the people to be saved from oppression, poverty, confusion, helplessness and hopelessness are many) but the workers (pastors, evangelists, bishops, prophets and teachers) are few.

Don’t forget that from this study the duties of men of God are to save people who are confused and helpless.

Possibly, the “confused and helpless people” in the world today are up to or more than 75% of the world’s population. How many pastors do you think will be too much to guide, counsel, teach and prophecy on these great number of people?

Jesus concluded by telling his disciples in verse 38, “So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest (people); ask Him to send more workers into His fields”

This prayer was prayed long ago by the disciples of Jesus, today many great men of God are still praying the same prayer. So in the same manner that many apostles sprang up after the disciples prayed to God for more workers, is the same way that many pastors are springing up in the world today to help the helpless and guide the confused, through the word of God.

You too can be that great man of God, all you need to do is to pray to Him for guide and be willing to be committed to His work.

Jesus said because of your faith, it will happen. Therefore why not clinch to your faith, believe and put all your trust in God the owner of life, the owner of health, the General Overseer of riches who owns the heaven and earth.

He is capable of changing your story in a blink of an eye. Put your trust in Him today. Trust Him alone and do your best in whatever endeavor you find yourself.

I pray that as you put all your trust in God, as you keep your faith strong in Him, He will shower you with blessings, your cup will run overflow in Jesus name, Amen.

When you have faith, you have courage to do the things you want to do. I noticed Jesus used the phrase “Be encouraged” often when he wants to heal people. In Matthew 9:2, he told the paralyzed man, “Be encouraged” and in Matthew 9: 22, he said to the woman with the issue of blood, “Be encouraged”

What is courage? Longman defines courage as, “the quality of being brave when you are in danger, in pain, in a difficult situation etc.

When you are down and you have nothing to look onto; have faith in God, His word says if He could provide for birds that have no house, that doesn’t farm nor harvest, how much more would He provide for you who He has made in His own image.



Someone was chatting with me on Facebook yesterday and he said he was sad, when I asked why he was sad, he said because of poverty. I told him to be grateful to God, if he sees people living in poverty; such people don’t have handsets, not to talk of using an internet service to browse the Facebook!

When you find yourself in a difficult situation like ill-health, financial set-back, and even stagnation, all you need is God. Put all your trust and hope in Him. When you put all your trust in Him, He will say to you, “Be encouraged”

In Matthew 9: 20-21, “Just then a woman who had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding came up behind him. She touched the fringe of his robe, for she thought, “If I can touch his robe, I will be healed”

Like many who have been suffering one thing or the other, be it financial set-backs, ill-health etc., twelve years is a very long time to suffer set-back or ill-health. Many would have lost hope and give up. The reason why some people commit suicide is because they have given up all hope. But this woman with the issue of blood did not give up.

Maybe you have been unemployed for years and you think you will never be employed, why think like an unbeliever? Don’t lose courage, be encouraged, put all your trust in God, do your best like the woman in this story.

If you are looking for job, keep on submitting your CV, if you have a talent, keep harnessing it, and leave everything to God after you have done your best. Refuse to be lazy, reject negative thoughts, and stay steadfast to your dreams.

Jesus turned around and when he saw her he said, “Daughter, be encouraged! Your faith has made you well.” And the woman was healed at that moment” Matthew 9: 23

Praise the Lord!

Discrimination is greatly detested by God Almighty and I think most of the time it is the religious people who discriminates more than those who do not believe in God at all.

Most religious crisis across the world and even tribal clashes are as a result of discrimination against one another. However those most guilty of discrimination are religious people, particularly the big religions we have.

The mistake most religious people make is this; they forget that people are related one way or the other, either through your mother’s family, or through a relative of your wife, you will be related to the other religion somehow as long as you are a resident of this planet earth.


I have seen pastors despise other religion brothers because he doesn’t share the same beliefs with him. I have seen even within the same Christian circle where a pastor of a Pentecostal church would criticize the priest of a Catholic Church. A pastor will refuse to relate with another man for not belonging to his religion. Some other religions even go to the extent of killing another man because he does not share their beliefs.

There was a Big Pastor in this country that reportedly refused to help his own blood sister financially because she does not belong to his faith. And the same man of God was born into the same religion which the sister is still currently practicing. If this story is true, what will it cost this man of God to help his sister, he should remember that it is by God’s grace that he is save today, it is not by his own power. Maybe by showing mercy on his sister, she would have been touched and converted to Christianity.

In Matthew 9:9-13 we saw how Jesus invited the writer of the Book of Matthew to become his disciple. Matthew was a tax-collector. A tax-collector can be likened to a present-day Local Government official, or staff of the Power Holding Company. They were known as corrupt people; they steal government funds and take resources for their private use.

After Matthew had become Jesus’ disciple, he invited Jesus and the other disciples to his home to feast with him, his family and other colleagues who were also tax-collectors.

When the Pharisees (hypocrites, gossips, back-biters, liars, haters, evil-doers) saw what Jesus did, they called his disciples and asked them, “Why does your teacher eat with such scum?” Matthew 9:11B
