@Op, what's the name of your town.
Nigerian army is becoming sucked in this conflict with no end in sight. Not even a single strategy to end the war gracefully. Those at the front line are increasingly demoralized. Their population is depleting gradually. BH has shown that they are ever ready to take casualty in this war. I wish them success. Though I see failure written all over their campaign. |

Warri _Pikin: Ketoprofen, even God wan tell you say, that picture of Enugu airport is not needed right now in the internet. Una have to learn how to control your youthful exuberance and be wise. Sometimes, i ask why Igbos are not politically savvy and wise? Why do you want to broadcast anything about Enugu Intl. airport right now that some people are fighting tooth and nail to frustrate it?
I know when the new Kaduna International was being built, which by the way, has a longer runway and taxiway etc than Enugu, nobody knew what stage the construction was at,until it was 90% completed. Thus, those sworn to frustrating the project were denied easy visuals to propel their wicked plot.
I don tok my own. The ones wey get ear, make una hear. I think you have a point. In fact we should start this group on Facebook. Where membership will be strictly Igbo. Many people are unhappy with any form of developmental stride in Igboland. This thread should be effectively abandoned. Or discussions will exclude pictures. |

Katsumoto: In a court of law, we don't necessarily trust the words of a criminal because a criminal will lie through the skin of its teeth to escape punishment. This is the most ignorant comment from you. I sense that you don't know how justice system works. Thankfully, professional judges do not rule on a case with your brand of stereotype mind. Your comment is akin to trusting the words of Aluu lynch mobs over their victim. You have once again shown that you will be willing to throw away the principle of universal fair hearing just to have your way. |
Politics › Re: Open Secret: Beware! Not Only Oduah, Many More Are In Their Crosshairs by ACM10: 9:40pm On Oct 31, 2013 |
Katsumoto: An Igbo minister was caught stealing. Everyone condemned her except a majority of Ndigbo. Not only did they not condemn her, they came out in full force threatening hail and brimstone both online and offline. Some even threatened to withdraw their support for the president in his re-election bid.
When a group of people throw support for one of their own who has been caught stealing, what do we call that? Isn't that ethnic jingoism?
Would you lot be supporting a Northerner or Western minister if they were the ones involved in the scandal?
If I don't take it back, what will/can you do?
Ndigbo support corruption as long as the perp is one of their own. I said it again.
What ever happened to the meritocracy that you lot shout about? Or your belief that its Northern and Western officials who steal?
There are thieves from all over Nigeria; stop supporting a thief just because she is one of you. Dude I'm well aware that you resent Ndigbo. But can you stop making blanket statements for once? You introduced an ethnic dimension to your argument when you should have found a better way to express yourself. Did you conduct an opinion poll to prove that most Igbo support corruption? Can you ever make a comment devoid of ethnic bait? |
Politics › Re: Open Secret: Beware! Not Only Oduah, Many More Are In Their Crosshairs by ACM10: 9:16pm On Oct 31, 2013 |
First of all, I frown at all forms of corruption. Anyone involved in corrupt practices should be punished. But we must give the accused an opportunity to explain what really happened. Usually, a politician is expected to step aside anytime he/she is accused of corruption. But we know that Nigerian politicians hardly observe this rule. I cannot say for sure if there is an ethnic colouration to this calls. But there is no denial of hypocrisy by the people making this call. We all know that many corruption cases worse than Oduagate were muted in public press. I'm still lost on why this case is singled out.
We saw similar outcry during the tenure of Prof Nnaji. He was forced to resign while being investigated. The outcry died down as soon as he resigned. Nothing came out of the investigation. His accusers did not bother to press their case against him. So I begin to wonder if the same scenario is not replaying itself again. BTW, Nnaji was replaced with a less competent successor. Is there a sinister motive behind this outcry? Only time will tell.
Secondly, there is a difference between corruption and stealing. I think that we are mixing those terms. From what I read so far, she is accused of grossly inflating the price of bulletproof cars. Left to me, her crime should be corruption. |

Believe this story, then believe anything. Now I know that NL is filled with losers who derive joy in another man's misfortune. Anyone whose brain development is a step higher than that of an im.becile will discover many obvious gaps in this story. I'm surprised that this junk found its way to the FP. This shows that this site operators are desperate for traffic. But I have one question for Seun. . .which caliber of people do you hope to attract? Losers? Oh dear! Losers are bad for business. I don't know about you all, but to me that is disorganized, at best, incredibly disrespectful at worst! Either way it is unacceptable, under any circumstance, from a Chief Executive candidate.
SMH. As an Ngige supporter, I'm in support of your comment. His lateness shows disrespect for the debate organizers and the constituted authority by extension. He has no reason to arrive at the debate venue late. Telling us that it took him 90 minutes to travel from Onitsha to Awka is rather insulting to our sensibilities. The journey can never take 45 minutes and we all know it. His attitude is irresponsible at best. |

Ndipe: Bianca once stated openly to Sunnews magazine that she was Ojukwu's only legal wife and challenged any other living woman to produce a copy of their marriage certificate. She further stated that they got married in a Roman Catholic Church which would have been impossible, according to her, if Ojukwu was still married, cos that would have been considered bigamy in the eyes of the Church. You are right. I listened to the interview on CosmoFM Enugu. She gave the interview while Ojukwu was still alive. She further narrated how she struggled with him to build their present house in Enugu. Finally challenged Ojukwu's other wives to produce a copy of their marriage certificate to him. She granted the interview when she was launching Bianca Blend body creams and perfumes. |

punta: I don't want to believe that greed is pushing Bianca to fight for these properties, they must have been willed to her legally by Ikemba. They were married her in church in the late 80s and some years later after her father had forgiven her for marrying Ojukwu, he gae them his blessings at their traditional wedding ceremony in their hometown Ngwo. It was covered by NTA Newsline.
Late Chief C.C Onoh owned over 200 houses in Enugu alone. She comes from a family noted for their stubbornness.
I am not worried for her, there is no way she is going to lose this case. Her late father was a lawyer, two of her brothers are lawyers and I'm not very certain but she might have studied law too. Family feuds is not alien to her, her fathe didn't speak to her for more than seven years, she cannot lose sleep because of some greedy in-laws.
Ndi Nnewi bring it on, Bianca ada akuja akuja. Bianca Ojukwu is a lawyer too. She studied law at UNN. |
