I think some other people will thinking of why the government is Easing lock down directives despite the continued rice of Covid - 19 cases in Nigeria. Yes many including me have argued that the continued lock down will inrease crime rates and which will eventually lead the the people revolting against the government will may lead to crisis that can not be contained. The NCDC have warned and adviced, as obtained in other countries for people to sit at home to avoid the spread but for hunger sake and the vast majority of the poor in Nigeria, the advice and method will definitely not work here. As a rellsnsible government, they ought to care for it people by providing palliatives to Nigerians but they failed woefully. Bearing in mind that its citizens will not stay at home any further, they decided for partial lack down which we all know will be flaunted just as security operatives are helping people with the virus to move into other states despite state brother closures. My question is why won't the federal govt release N800 billion to 40 million active account holders with bvn (N20, 000) and force them to stay at home? Why is it difficult for them? It's less Tha. $2 billion dollars. Is it because they won't benefit from looting it because it can be traced? They choose to share the one they called 'most Vulnerable' or the 'poorest of the poor ' which they knew it can not be traced or accounted for. In this present situation everyone should be given palliatives as it affects all of us and order a 1 month sit at home. Nigerians can manage that cos I know majority earn less than that per month while still transporting to work. There for because our government don't want to give us palliatives, we should go and die! (In Oshiomhole's). But the received over $3 billion dollars from IMF to invest in what Nigerians knew would not be done or completed and have less meaningful impact in our lives because the IMF will be looted. Here we are talking about LIVES that can not be bought with money (ask late Kyari). And this virus takes lives as if the country is engaged in war In summary, the meaning of Easing Lock Down in Nigeria is GO AND DIE. They feel they have made appropriate provisions to protect themselves and family, hmm I trust coro, it can even fly in the air. I prefer total nationwide lock down with palliatives while we stay alive and the NCDC do the flushing. Thank you all. |
They should first start the test with the health Minister and his household, the presidency and their families, followed by the law makers and their families then the other ministers. After they are done and not satisfied, they should come down to state level. |
Security operatives failed Nigeria and Nigerians. With all the states closing its entry points, how did they beat them all without having a stumbling block? Entry into Onitsha should have been impossible if the Niger bridge were blocked at both ends. It still beats my imagination. Good morning |
dirtydiva:Don't your women deserve some respect? Was it not your men that put them into what you now see as 'disgusting'!? So you want to go put the Arab women the way your men put their women? |
dirtydiva:Bros abeg, seal up OK. |
doggedfighter:Ha! |
dirtydiva:Please tell them well, they will still come after you. They should just simply take the advice. If they don't believe in the Holy Spirit, then they shouldn't bring Him in here. |
gbebodye:Please jokes to the Holy Spirit is an 'expensive' one I advice you withdraw it or desist from it abeg. Though shall not use the name of thy Lord, thy God in vain. |
Abolaji2709:After they have failed to fund the health sector. |
Where did all these money started coming out from? Because if its time to budget for health sector they dont take it serious because they have the access and resource to travel abroad. Now God don catch them. They thought the neglect does not concern them. I swear if na poor man sickness, we would have been abandoned same way they are doing in education. |
bigfish3k:Don't them, as if they don't have yoruba in Kwara and Kogi states. And when you hear them speak about the yoruba nation.,they include others in those two states. They don't hate igbos but they fear their domination in terms of prosperity. Make I no talk further. |
Millenniumlady:Lol |
senatordave1:Akwa Ibom and Cross River is just too close. |
May God grant his soul eternal rest. Amen |
Tmb78:Please start with your betrayal against a sitting southern president - Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and the overwhelming support to Olusegun Obasanjo by Eastern Nigeria. |
This people in northern Nigeria will hardly be heard of when professionals as making waves. Yet they collect biggest in allocations, infrastructure and appointments. Late Gaddafi once said Nigeria should be diveded into 2 (north and south). Eastern Nigeria (south east and south south) are willing to stand together on their own but the south west, maybe the fear of dominatikn by Eastern Nigeria is making them to allign with northern Nigeria using the politics of numbers to remain relevant. To our yoruba friends, in laws, brothers and colleagues: we are not begging you guys for unity but use your inner brains/minds. |
I don't see any big deal or repentance from General muhammadu Buhari as every state must have a representative (as commissioner) to the board of Federal Character Commission. General Buhari should address the issue raised by Osita Chidoka on this same commission. |
Ifabernard:Correct. Just create the impression that not only their people move the virus accross the country. It is well said that Nigerian politicians will use these COVID-19 pandemic to score cheap poitical points including corruption. |
Omooba77:Give them little grants like N500, 000 to N2, 000,000 then you will only see few of the at baba ijebu or betting shops. Mind you, even in developed countries, they stake more on betting than our naija guys. |
Omooba77:My honest opinion is that public debts be paid by states/cities where the funds borrowed was used. I see no reason, you will build infrastructure in a particular place, empower people of a particular place and expect every part of the country to carry the burden of repaying it with heavy tax and resources. Tomorrow they will tell you they built their cities and give you 'qiut notice' for not being an indigene. |
Simply 'Rigging' or you call it manipulation. |
ikorodureporta:Are you sure the hospital is run by the catholic church? |
igbarasdynasty:That was Gandollar's own figure. He wants to rig it and eventually be at per with lagos. They have always argued that Kano population is equal to that of lagos. So that during sharing, they can get as much as lagos. He has already requested for his own 15B naira as lagos was given. They believe so much in politics of numbers and land mass. |
EzzyCarter:Amen, bless you too. |
Why is it that every posts concerning snakes will mention lala? Does lala like snakes. |
EzzyCarter:Bros I agree with you. But to stay at home with hunger is not obtainable. You are OK right? What about others. On this faceless forum, those I think are OK with their 'loud mouths' still drop account numbers for assistance to even eat. To them I've done my bit and will do more as His grace carries me. So plz show some love even as you have enough to sit at home. Thank you |
segunojo866:Prayers mould your life. I guess the pastors and servants of God's prayers for you back then is what have made you |
20,000 test kits? Thats good. Oya let the election result start coming. Politics of numbers. |
Dansuqi:No, I don't think CRS produces oil again. A-Ibom collected all their wells both on shore and offshore, hence their huge oil exploration and revenue. |
udoka55555:Dem tell us say na 'hi blood prezurr and diabitis! Kill am. Me I no know, I no follow for AIDS. |
And where is the money? He played a key role to facilitate it so that they can re-loot it again. It sure a first class business for him and his cronies. How did it benefit an ordinary Nigerian? Yet Gen. Buhari is borrowing dollars from different countries. We are no fools again. |
I suggest the the NPF be unbundled. This lock down have proven that they can not manage civil crises. Because the youths are not even protesting yet and yet Nigerians are being gunned down. What if there are protests randomly in every state including the FCT.? This calls for a review and terms of engagement of the frustrated 'animals'. |

. You're absolutely right , these ain't the best of times. But it will surely pass.
. choice is yours
